February 23 NBA DFS Picks on Monkey Knife Fight: Monkey Knife Fight (MKF) combines elements of daily fantasy sports and traditional prop betting to offer a unique array of contests daily for a multitude of sports, including 2/23/21 NBA DFS Plays.

With NBA season in full swing, MKF enhances the enjoyment of the hardwood with exciting opportunities each night to win cash based on your knowledge of some of the league’s top players.

The Game Day breaks down two MKF contests daily that we feel have profit potential. With Tuesday’s slate featuring plenty of big names, here’s a closer look at some opportunities involving some of the most offensively explosive players in action:

February 23 NBA DFS Picks

Boston Celtics at Dallas Mavericks

MKF Contest: More or Less (Pick 2/2 correctly to win 3x your Buy-In)

Luka Doncic, G, Dallas Mavericks: More Than 29.5 Points

Doncic is averaging 28.8 points for the season and likely chipped off some rust Monday against the Grizzlies after the Mavericks’ recent eight-day layoff. Doncic picked up 21 points over 33 minutes on 8-for-18 shooting versus Memphis and he’d been over 40 points in three of the last five games before Dallas’ pause in play. In all, Doncic has eclipsed 29 points in 11 of 29 games, and Tuesday, he tangles with a Celtics team that’s allowing 47.1 percent shooting on the road and that’s still missing defensive MVP Marcus Smart. Finally, consider Dallas may be missing Kristaps Porzingis for a second straight game, and Doncic boasts a 37.9 percent usage rate and averages 29.3 points per 36 minutes with his teammate off the floor.

Jayson Tatum, SF, Boston Celtics: More Than 25.5 Points

Tatum is averaging 26.0 points per game and has eclipsed 26 points in three of the last six, coming one point short of doing it in a fourth game in that sample. The Mavericks are allowing the second-highest home shooting percentage (49.2 percent), including the fifth highest (39.8 percent) from three-point range. Tatum is also averaging career-high 21.0 shot attempts per contest (7.1 from three-point range), and with this game having a narrow one-point spread, he should be in for another hefty workload.

Portland Trail Blazers at Denver Nuggets

MKF Contest: More or Less (Pick 2/2 correctly to win 2.5x your Buy-In)

Enes Kanter, C, Portland Trail Blazers: Less Than 11.5 Rebounds

This is an interesting number, as it falls right above Kanter’s season average (11.3 RPG) and the big man checks in having eclipsed the mark in five of the last seven games overall. However, the matchup is a tricky one Tuesday. For one, the Nuggets allow the third-fewest rebounds per game and are yielding the fewest per game (12.7) to centers on the season. Additionally, Denver is giving up the seventh-highest shooting percentage (47.3), which should bring down Kanter’s offensive rebounding opportunities to an extent. Meanwhile, Portland is allowing elevated 48.6 percent shooting on the road, which dings Kanter’s outlook on the defensive glass. Finally, the Nuggets are drawing the third-most fouls per game from fives (5.9), a factor that could help curtail Kanter’s minutes.

Jamal Murray, PG, Denver Nuggets: More Than 4.5 Assists

Murray is averaging a modest 4.4 assists per contest, but the Trail Blazers rank just in the bottom half of the league with 24.8 assists allowed per game. As just mentioned in Kanter’s entry, Portland is also giving up 48.6 percent shooting when traveling, the third-highest figure in the league. What’s more, Murray has dished out five or more dimes in 11 of 28 games, with three of those coming in the last six games. The Blazers are also surrendering the ninth-most assists (8.8) to point guards over the last 15 games and Murray averaged 5.0 assists per contest in three games against them last season. This game carries a projected total of 230.5 points as of early Tuesday as well, furthering Murray’s case for a strong night as a facilitator.
