Last Updated: Feb 18, 2021

February 18 NBA DFS Picks on Monkey Knife Fight: Monkey Knife Fight (MKF) combines elements of daily fantasy sports and traditional prop betting to offer a unique array of contests daily for a multitude of sports, including 2/18/21 NBA DFS Plays.

With NBA season in full swing, MKF enhances the enjoyment of the hardwood with exciting opportunities each night to win cash based on your knowledge of some of the league’s top players.

The Game Day breaks down two MKF contests daily that we feel have profit potential. With Wednesday’s slate featuring plenty of big names, here’s a closer look at some opportunities involving some of the most offensively explosive players in action:

February 18 NBA DFS Picks

Toronto Raptors at Milwaukee Bucks

MKF Contest: More or Less (Pick 2/2 correctly to win 3x your Buy-In)

Giannis Antetokounmpo, PF, Milwaukee Bucks: More Than 30.5 Points

Antetokounmpo has scored 30 or more points in three of his last five games, which encompasses Jrue Holiday’s current absence due to COVID-19. The veteran point guard is projected to sit out again Thursday, and Antetokounmpo is facing a Raptors squad that he just put up 34 points against Tuesday. Toronto is allowing Eastern Conference-high 50.8 percent shooting to power forwards, including an NBA-high 42.2 percent from three-point range. Antetokounmpo a whopping 20.8 shot attempts from the field and another 10.4 from the charity stripe in Holiday’s absence, and that level of usage could well continue Thursday.

Pascal Siakam, PF, Toronto Raptors: More Than 21.5 Points

Siakam has scored 23 to 32 points in four of the last five games, a span during which he’s draining an outstanding 48.1 percent of his 5.4 three-point attempts per contest. The big man has cleared 22 points in 11 of 25 games thus far this season, including against the Bucks on Tuesday despite shooting just 8-for-23 from the field. Kyle Lowry is also listed as questionable with an ankle injury Thursday, and Siakam sports a 24.0 percent usage rate without his teammate on the floor. Milwaukee also comes in allowing the fourth-highest three-point shooting percentage (38.8) on the season, furthering supporting the notion Siakam could clear this statistical hurdle.

Brooklyn Nets at Los Angeles Lakers

MKF Contest: More or Less, Fantasy Points (Pick 2/2 correctly to win 2.5x your Buy-In)

MKF NBA Fantasy Points Scoring System:

  • Point= +1 point
  • Assist= +1.5 points
  • Rebound= +1.2 points
  • Steal= +3 points
  • Block= +3 points
  • Turnover= -1 point

LeBron James, SF, Los Angeles Lakers: More Than 53.5 Fantasy Points

James boasts a 33.4 percent usage rate without Anthony Davis (Achilles) and is averaging 68 MKF points per 48 minutes when his fellow star is off the floor, which helps begin building the case for James eclipsing this total Thursday against the fast-paced Nets. James has tallied at least 54 MKF points in eight of 29 games, and he’s been within striking distance by posting between 50.6 and 51.8 in three others. The Nets are allowing an NBA-high 122.2 points per road game, along with the fifth-most assists (26.4) and 11th-most steals (7.6) when traveling. That leaves James with plenty of paths to fantasy success, and the fact he won’t have Kevin Durant’s defense to deal with certainly helps his cause as well.

James Harden, SG, Brooklyn Nets: More Than 51.5 Fantasy Points

Harden’s usage rate without Durant on the floor sits at a formidable 28.7 percent, and he’s also averaging 1.42 MKF points per minute when his teammate is absent. The Beard has eclipsed this fantasy-point benchmark in seven of his last 10 games alone, and he’s come with three-tenths of an MKF point from accomplishing the feat in 13 of 24 games overall. Harden is now shooting a career-high 48.2 percent as well, and as the primary ball-handler for Brooklyn, he’s also dishing out a career-best 11.3 assists and sporting the second-best rebounding average (7.3) of his storied career. In a game during which he’s liable to log heavy minutes, I like Harden’s chances of exceeding 51.5 MKF points.
