February 17 NBA DFS Picks on Monkey Knife Fight: Monkey Knife Fight (MKF) combines elements of daily fantasy sports and traditional prop betting to offer a unique array of contests daily for a multitude of sports, including 2/17/21 NBA DFS Plays.
With NBA season in full swing, MKF enhances the enjoyment of the hardwood with exciting opportunities each night to win cash based on your knowledge of some of the league’s top players.
The Game Day breaks down two MKF contests daily that we feel have profit potential. With Wednesday’s slate featuring plenty of big names, here’s a closer look at some opportunities involving some of the most offensively explosive players in action:
February 17 NBA DFS Picks
Houston Rockets at Philadelphia 76ers
MKF Contest: More or Less (Pick 2/2 correctly to win 3x your Buy-In)
Joel Embiid, C, Philadelphia 76ers: Less Than 28.5 Points
Embiid has been excellent on the scoring front of late, putting up 33 or more points in nine of the past 11 games while shooting an impressive 54.9 percent, including 40.6 percent from distance. Therefore, the temptation is certainly there to with the over on this benchmark, but the opponent has to be taken into consideration. DeMarcus Cousins has the bulk necessary to battle Embiid down low, and Houston checks in allowing the fourth-fewest points per game (18.5) to centers while also ranking fourth in defensive efficiency. I have no doubt in Embiid’s ability to put together a strong overall performance, but I am placing my faith in him falling at least slightly short of this point tally.
John Wall, PG, Houston Rockets: More Than 23.5 Points
Wall has been thriving without Victor Oladipo (foot) and Christian Wood (ankle) in the lineup, sporting a massive 34.6 percent usage rate on the season without either of his teammates on the floor and averaging 24.3 points (on 19.7 attempts per contest) over the last six games specifically. Neither Oladipo nor Wood are expected back on the court Wednesday, and the 76ers come in allowing the 10th most points per game to point guards (27.2) to point guards over the last 10. With Wall likely due for another heavy workload and having eclipsed this benchmark in four of the last five contests, I like his chances of exceeding it again Wednesday.

Minnesota Timberwolves at Indiana Pacers
MKF Contest: More or Less, Fantasy Points (Pick 2/2 correctly to win 2.5x your Buy-In)
MKF NBA Fantasy Points Scoring System:
- Point= +1 point
- Assist= +1.5 points
- Rebound= +1.2 points
- Steal= +3 points
- Block= +3 points
- Turnover= -1 point
Karl-Anthony Towns, C, Minnesota Timberwolves: Less Than 47.5 Fantasy Points
Towns has scored 45.6 and 42.7 MKF points over the last two games while working up to 33 minutes in his most recent contest. The big man has been red-hot with his shot (56.8 percent, including 50.0 percent from three-point range) despite having missed 13 games with his COVID bout, but the statistical bar is a high one to clear Wednesday. Indiana is giving up just 37. 4 MKF points per game to centers overall in the last five games, and Towns may still see his minutes remain in the low 30s Wednesday, which would lessen his chances of clearing this number.
Domantas Sabonis, PF, Indiana Pacers: More Than 45.5 Fantasy Points
Sabonis is averaging 22.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 1.4 blocks and 1.3 steals across 34.0 minutes over the last eight games, a stretch during which he’s averaged 46.7 MKF points per contest. That stretch includes four tallies of more than 50, including one over 60. Sabonis has eclipsed the 45.5 statistical benchmark in 13 of 28 games overall this season, and with Minnesota allowing the second-most points (118.3), third-most rebounds (57.1), sixth-most assists (26.1), 10th-most steals (7.7) and tied for most blocks (7.7) surrendered per road game, Sabonnis has no shortage of paths to do it again.
