Premier League Matchweek 35 Predictions: How to Target Everton vs Man City

Last Updated: 2 days ago

There are just four weeks left in the Premier League season, and between the two-horse title race, the logjam for the final European spots, and the contentious relegation battle between London rivals, most teams have something left to play for.

Of the 10 games on the Premier League schedule this weekend, virtually all of them are meaningful in one of those three races.

With teams leaving everything out on the field, let’s look at our best Premier League predictions for this weekend.

Premier League Predictions: Matchweek 35

All soccer odds used for these EPL Matchweek 35 predictions are current as of Thursday, April 30, and courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

Brentford vs West Ham United: Draw (+285)

West Ham is in the midst of a three-match unbeaten run, as the Hammers are desperate to avoid relegation. However, the team’s only road match in those three games was a scoreless draw against Crystal Palace.

That might be the best-case scenario for the Hammers this weekend in another London Derby away from home.

Meanwhile, Brentford has drawn six of its last seven matches, including a 2-2 FA Cup tie against West Ham, making it hard to ignore the value of that trend continuing this weekend.

Manchester United vs Liverpool: Over 3.5 Goals (+120)

In terms of the table, this might be the most meaningless game of the weekend, as both have all but secured a Champions League spot but aren’t in the title race.

That should make these bitter rivals play with freedom and a willingness to attack.

In fairness, only two of United’s last five games have had at least four total goals, while Liverpool has only hit that mark three times in its last eight games.

That being said, both teams have more than enough attacking talent to score multiple goals in a game that should be wide open.

Everton vs Manchester City: Both Teams to Score - No (+100)

There isn’t much value in betting on Manchester City to win this game, but there is good value in betting against both teams to score, with the assumption being that City will keep a clean sheet.

Pep Guardiola’s side is the highest-scoring team in the Premier League this season, which has put them in the title race.

But Man City has also kept a clean sheet in four of its last six matches, doing so against the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, and Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Everton is slipping after back-to-back losses and ranks 15th in goals in the Premier League, which doesn’t bode well for the Toffees this week.
