Just how many twists are left in the Premier League title chase?
The next big game in the two-horse race is Wednesday when Manchester City hosts Crystal Palace in a match moved up to accommodate Man City’s participation in Saturday’s FA Cup Final.
Even though Palace is toward the bottom of the table, all of the pressure is on City in this game.
Keep reading for a breakdown and my Premier League best bets for Wednesday’s showdown.

Manchester City vs Crystal Palace Predictions
Score Prediction: Manchester City 2, Crystal Palace 0
Without a win, Man City’s chances of catching Arsenal for the Premier League title will be almost nonexistent, so even as heavy favorites, Pep Guardiola’s side is feeling the pressure.
In recent games, City squeaked past Burnley with a 1-0 win and had to score two late goals to overcome a 3-1 deficit in a draw with Everton.
Even in a 3-0 win over Brentford this past weekend, the Sky Blues were held scoreless for the first 60 minutes and almost let the pressure get to them.
Of course, Crystal Palace hasn’t been in great form in the Premier League lately, choosing to focus on the club’s run in the UEFA Conference League.
The Eagles have just one Premier League win in their last six matches, conceding multiple goals in three straight Premier League matches, so they don’t exactly look poised to pull off the road upset over Man City.
Manchester City vs Crystal Palace Best Bets
Crystal Palace +2.5 (-180) @ Manchester City
One has to worry a little about Crystal Palace’s motivation to play a midweek game against Man City, but with three league matches left before the UEFA Conference League Final, the Eagles shouldn’t be distracted just yet.

The surprising thing about Oliver Glasner’s team is that, despite sitting 14th in the Premier League, they’ve allowed the fourth-fewest goals in the league this season.
The Eagles should put up enough resistance to stay within two goals of Man City, making Guardiola and company sweat it out just a little.
Jeremy Doku: Anytime Goalscorer (+260) vs Crystal Palace
This is my EPL pick of the day because the odds are favorable for a player who’s been playing at a high level lately.
While he only has five Premier League goals this season, Doku has put the ball in the net four times in his last three games, including a goal coming off the bench in an FA Cup semifinal win over Southampton.
Four of Doku’s five goals have come during City’s last five Premier League games, so he’s coming on strong at the right time.
While an Erling Haaland goal (-205) is always the safer bet, a goal from Doku looks almost as likely and comes with far more value.
