Deebo Samuel could be the x-factor who helps decide a close matchup in Super Bowl 58 between the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs.
The dual-threat wide receiver has had another great season, putting up 892 receiving yards, 225 rushing yards, and 12 touchdowns.
So without further ado, let’s make the most out of the best sportsbook promos available for Super Bowl 58 by targeting Deebo Samuel betting props.
Deebo Samuel betting props are posted as of February 9 at the indicated sportsbook.
Deebo Samuel Betting Props
Deebo Samuel: Over 2.5 Rush Attempts at bet365 Sportsbook ()
Deebo had 37 rush attempts in 15 games this year, which works out to 2.47 per game. However, the star wideout only has 11 carries in his last seven games (1.57 per game).
So the question becomes, why is the Over so heavily juiced on this prop?
The answer is clear: the Chiefs rank 28th in Rush EPA on defense, struggling to contain opposing running games. This is a major weakness that Kyle Shanahan will look to exploit.
As a way to mix up the usage from Christian McCaffrey, we could see Deebo get a few hand-offs out of the backfield.
We’re getting a great number at (-150) as of February 8, as this is currently (-170) at FanDuel and (-180) at DraftKings.
Deebo Samuel: Anytime TD at Fanatics Sportsbook ()
With 12 touchdowns on the year, Deebo is the second-most likely 49ers player to find the end zone outside of Christian McCaffrey.
Samuel has yet to find the end zone during this year’s playoffs, so it’s the perfect time to do so in Super Bowl 58.
The dynamic wideout can take a slant to the house or hit this prop with a carry inside the red zone.
At (+150) odds, we’re getting a nice price at Fanatics, as this prop is as short as (+130) at Caesars.
Deebo Samuel: Over 78.5 Rush+Rec Yards at Caesars Sportsbook ()
While I like Deebo to make an impact on the ground, I prefer to go with total yards in case there are some big receiving plays.
The Chiefs are tougher on the perimeter, which is bad news for Brandon Aiyuk, but it could force the 49ers to throw it over the middle more, which would help Deebo’s production.
You could also see San Francisco look to get Samuel involved in the screen game.
We’re getting (+100) odds at Caesars, but this line is at 79.5 (Over: -110) at FanDuel, giving us a nice price here.
Deebo Samuel: Super Bowl MVP at FanDuel Sportsbook ()
It’s always a longshot to avoid quarterback as Super Bowl MVP, but wide receivers have won this award in five of the last 20 Super Bowls, including Cooper Kupp two years ago.
Deebo has the ability to put up 150 total yards and a touchdown. If we see him put up big rushing yardage, that would be huge for his chances at MVP, since Brock Purdy wouldn’t be involved in that production.
Since I’m projecting the 49ers to try to get Deebo more involved in the running game, this prop makes a lot of sense, especially against such an exploitable run defense like the Chiefs.
