The NFL season is down to its final few games, and thankfully they’re worth everyone’s time and energy.

Arguably the best of the two conference championships is in the AFC, where the Kansas City Chiefs look to win their third AFC Championship in six seasons against the Baltimore Ravens.

This will be the first AFC Championship game played outside of Kansas City, Missouri since 2017.

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs offense continues to defy odds with a lackluster receiving corps, but has been buoyed by one of the best defenses in the NFL.

The Ravens continue to ride hot with Lamar Jackson, who is looking to go to his first Super Bowl. Like Mahomes, Jackson’s offense has been equally matched by his defensive teammates.

There are many ways to enjoy this game with a Super Bowl berth at stake, including sports betting. Sportsbooks across North America are still vying for your time with amazing promos and weekly offers.

Best Chiefs vs. Ravens Player Prop Bets

Rashod Bateman:

Hat tip to The Game Day’s Frank Ammirante for keying me in to this bet. The Ravens wideout has been seeing more looks over the past month compared to betting and Daily Fantasy target Odell Beckham Jr.

Over their last four games (both did not play against Pittsburgh in Week 18), Bateman has 11 more targets, 6 more receptions, 74 more receiving yards, and more yards per reception than OBJ (neither has a touchdown).

Bateman has gone under this number once over this same span of games.

Patrick Mahomes:

The Chiefs have trended down the past month in terms of time of possession. That can be credited to a lack of receiving depth, turnovers, and opponents playing keep away from arguably the greatest QB in NFL history.

Expect that trend to continue in Baltimore. The Ravens were top 5 in the regular season in time of possession, and dominated possession in their win against Houston (37:35).

Kansas City is averaging a TOP of 28:02 in its past three games and held the ball for 29:19 per game in road contests. Mahomes has gone under this number in five of nine game games this season and has not hit the number in four straight.

Best Chiefs vs. Ravens Team Prop Bets

Chiefs Outcome of First Drive (4-Way):

bet365 Sportsbook • 1 Unit

The Chiefs have punted on their first possession 8 times in 19 games, and have not scored on their first drive 10 times. Some of the three-and-outs have come against good-to-great defenses, but some didn’t make sense, like against the Chargers.

Baltimore won 10 coin tosses to determine who gets the ball first and deferred 8 times. If they win, expect the same, especially since the Chiefs also prefer to defer and let their defense set the tone.

Either Team to Score 3 Unanswered Times:

This prop sticks out because both teams are coached well by arguably the two best in the game - Andy Reid and John Harbaugh.

Both squads also have defenses that make their opponents earn every yard and points should be at a premium. Both teams limited plays of 20-plus yards well, with Baltimore allowing 54 total and Kansas City giving up 44.

The opportunity to get points will be taken in this matchup, keeping the likelihood of three straight scores by one team lower.
