Pac-12 Championship Game Predictions 2021 | Oregon vs. Utah College Football Pick of the Day

Last Updated: Nov 30, 2021

The No. 10 Oregon Ducks will face off with the No. 14 Utah Utes in the Pac-12 Championship this Friday in Las Vegas. Both of these teams are in the upper echelon of teams this college football season, and it figures to be an excellent game all the way through.

Oregon (10-2) has impressed this season from start to finish, suffering an overtime loss to Stanford and getting blown out by the same Utah squad they will take the field against in this Pac-12 championship game.

Utah (9-3) has thoroughly earned its spot in a surprise season for the Utes. After suffering three losses in four weeks in the early portion of the season, Utah has found its groove, winning each of its last five contests and eight of its previous nine.

Can Oregon bounce back after suffering a 31-point loss to this same Utah team just two weeks ago, or will the Utes keep their foot on the gas and continue their hot streak? Let’s take a look at our predictions and best bets for this PAC-12 Championship game.

Oregon vs. Utah: Pac-12 Championship Game Prediction

While many would consider Oregon to be the better team here, they come into this game as 3-point underdogs, and I believe it is primarily due to their dud of a performance against Utah two weeks ago.

A 38-7 defeat is no small margin, and it appears that the odds are reflecting that. I expect a very close battle in this game, though, especially at a neutral site in Las Vegas.

I could see either of these teams winning a close game, and I’m not expecting another blowout in either direction. There’s simply too much at stake for the Ducks to flop against Utah again.

Prediction: Utah 33, Oregon 24

Pac-12 Championship Game Best Bets

Best Bet: Utah -3 (-105) at Caesars

Wager: 2 units

As you can see by my final score prediction, I am not expecting a huge win for Utah like their last matchup, but I am just barely expecting a two-score victory.

Utah QB Cameron Rising has looked excellent recently, and while he ranks just 28th in EPA amongst college quarterbacks, his performance as of late has me confident that he rises to the occasion on Friday night.

The offense for Utah has been firing on all cylinders, and if Rising keeps trending in the right direction, this should be an easy victory for Utah.

Back the Utes ATS just giving up a field goal.

Best Bet: Under 59.5 Total Points (-110) at Caesars

Wager: 1 unit

I like the under in this game quite a bit with these teams’ past matchup hitting below this total comfortably. Expect Oregon to put more than seven points on the board in this game, but also expect Utah to score less.

59.5 is a pretty large total for these two teams, and while I do not like this game to go way under by any means, I do believe it will hit.
