Sports fans don’t often get to say they’re betting on college basketball’s all-time leading scorer.
During the women’s 2024 NCAA Tournament, anyone who can place bets on Caitlin Clark and her Iowa teammates will have that honor.
Clark’s Hawkeyes came up short against LSU in last year’s National Championship Game. However, as the No. 1 seed in Albany 2 Region, they again rank as one of the favorites to reach at least the Final Four.
Keep reading for the best ways to bet on Caitlin Clark for 2024 March Madness, her final collegiate action before likely being picked No. 1 in the 2024 WNBA Draft.

BetMGM’s March Madness promo remains one of our favorites: If your first bet loses, get repaid in bonus bets of up to $1500, using code GAMEDAY.
More seasoned bettors may find more value here with an aggressive first wager, which might not involve one of the Clark props mentioned above.
Maybe it’s betting on Iowa (+550) taking home the tourney crown instead.
Before the tournament, we found BetMGM March Matchups promos for Clark:
The leading scorer on the season (31.9 points per game) also topped rankings with 5.2 treys made and 13.8 three-point attempts per game.
Assuming the Hawkeyes reach the Final Four, a fifth tourney contest, No. 22 would maintain a pace of about 150 points and 25 attempts bucketed from downtown.
CBB bettors can score with authority during the NCAA Tournaments with the DraftKings March Madness promo: Bet $5, Get $150 In Bonus Bets Instantly. No promo code needed.
This low threshold of investment should be inviting for less experienced bettors who want to build a bankroll for March Madness and beyond. Betting on Clark could help that quickly.
Women’s CBB fans with sportsbook accounts can bet on the defending three-time Big Ten champions after the women’s NCAA bracket is released.
Luckily, Iowa residents and school members can place wagers on the team’s outcome. Unfortunately, as noted below, betting on Clark’s statistics specifically is not permitted.

During Iowa’s 91-65 thrashing of 16th-seeded Holy Cross on Saturday, Clark logged only 31 minutes, one of her lowest totals of the season. Clark will likely need to stay on the court longer in Round 2.
Since she piled up 27 points in Round 1, I’ll tick her projection higher on what should be a busier day. (Plus, WVU ranks 111th in 3-point defense.)
Iowa’s first-round game against the Crusaders — a 1 vs. 16 matchup Saturday, March 23, at 3 p.m. ET — does not present too much value betting on the outcome.
Per BetMGM Sportsbook:
Depends on which state you live in or are visiting. Our March Madness betting guide outlined which states allow certain types of betting on college sports.
No Game Bets On In-State College Teams: Connecticut, Delaware, Washington D.C., Maine, Massachusetts (some tournaments OK), New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Washington, Wisconsin
No Prop Bets On In-State College Teams: Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Washington D.C., Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin
If you are allowed to wager on Clark’s statistics, you can predict numbers for:
The format of the prop can be either Over/Under an assigned total (usually a number plus one-half/.5).
You can also wager on what are called “bands" (from 1-5, 6-10, etc.), which carry lighter odds and often give the bettor more outs to cash.
The selection committee did Iowa no favors by also stacking their region with LSU (+750), who has the third-shortest odds, but the Hawkeyes still rank as the second likeliest team to cut down the nets.
This smidge of value might be enough to convince many bettors to back the GOAT. Still, I’d prefer eyeing a much bigger return on someone like Stanford (+1500), UConn (+1600), or USC (+4000).
The most basic wager to make on Clark and Iowa is picking them on the moneyline: Bet Iowa to win the game.
Don’t want to pick Iowa to directly win or lose? You can instead predict Iowa to win or lose by a certain amount via betting the spread.
Another Caitlin Clark NCAA Tournament bet involves picking whether Iowa and their opponent will combine to score more or fewer than the established
In many states and CBB markets — check your favorite March Madness betting apps — you might be able to bet on more micro props, including first-half spread betting or Overs and Unders for either or both teams.

North Carolina mobile sports betting started on March 11, just in time for the men’s and women’s NCAA Tournaments.
Residents in nearby South Carolina, whose Gamecocks are 32-0 and entered March Madness as the women’s No. 1 overall seed, may get a chance to bet against Clark and the Hawkeyes in a potential National Championship matchup.
They’d clash on Sunday, April 7, at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
A quick drive (in many areas) to the Tar Heel State could provide a chance to back South Carolina in what would be a titanic final.
