The San Francisco 49ers go at it with the upstart Detroit Lions in what should be an interesting matchup for the NFC Conference Championship Game.

49ers wideout Brandon Aiyuk has had a huge season, putting up a career-high 1,342 yards and 17.9 yards per reception.

We could see San Francisco rely on their talented wideout, especially with Deebo Samuel‘s status in question, so let’s dive into Aiyuk props for the NFC Conference Championship Game between Detroit and San Francisco.

All Conference Championship odds used in these props are current as of Jan. 24.

Brandon Aiyuk Prop Pick of the Day

Brandon Aiyuk Receiving Yards Prop

Brandon Aiyuk: Over 80.5 Receiving Yards

BetMGM Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 Unit

With Deebo likely out for this game, look for Aiyuk to get peppered with targets. Even if Samuel is able to play, it’s unlikely that he’ll be at 100%, so we could be looking at a reduced role.

On top of that, this is an absolute smash spot for Aiyuk vs the Lions. Just check out what Detroit has given up to opposing wideouts in their last five games:

  • Mike Evans: 147 yards
  • Puka Nacua: 181 yards
  • Justin Jefferson: 192 yards, 141 yards
  • CeeDee Lamb: 227 yards

The Lions rank 25th in Pass EPA on defense, so we should see Brock Purdy have success through the air in this matchup.

With Detroit’s struggles defending opposing wideouts, that could mean that it’s Aiyuk who is reaping the rewards.

All we need is 81 or more yards here, so it’s a reasonable bar when you consider the circumstances.

Considering how several wideouts have had massive games against this secondary of late, it may be worth a look to take alternate lines on Aiyuk’s receiving yards.

Perhaps you can make a ladder, where you bet one unit on Aiyuk Over 81.5 receiving yards, and then lower your stake as the number becomes more unfavorable, as follows:

  • 0.5 units on 100+ yards
  • 0.25 units on 125+ yards
  • 0.1 units on 150+ yards

This could be a profitable way to take full advantage of Aiyuk’s great spot vs the Lions.

Brandon Aiyuk Touchdown Prop

Brandon Aiyuk: Anytime TD

bet365 Sportsbook • WAGER: 0.5 Units

The 49ers are seven-point favorites in a game with a 51-point total, so they’re projected to score approximately 29 points, which works out to four touchdowns.

With Deebo banged up, that’s one less mouth to feed for this stacked offense, putting Aiyuk in a better position to find the end zone.

We saw Aiyuk score seven touchdowns this year, so it’s clear that he can make an impact in the red zone.

I’ve already mentioned how the Lions have had issues defending the pass, but it’s also worth noting that they’ve been stout against the run (4th in Rush EPA).

This means that Detroit could slow down Christian McCaffrey here, especially in the red zone, which would force Brock Purdy to the air more often, giving Aiyuk more opportunities for a touchdown.

Look for the stud wideout to hit pay dirt in this terrific matchup against the Lions.
