The Detroit Lions are going to need to get contributions from everyone if they’re going to upset the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
Detroit is a touchdown underdog entering the NFC Championship Game, and quarterback Jared Goff will need more than All-Pro Amon-Ra St. Brown to produce. Josh Reynolds and Jameson Williams could be key X-factors if the Lions are going to advance to the Super Bowl.
Here’s a look at some Lions wide receiver props to consider for Williams and Reynolds.
All Conference Championship odds used in these props are current as of Wednesday, Jan. 24.
Williams has surpassed 25 receiving yards in four of Detroit’s past five games, including his 35-yard output in the Lions’ eight-point Divisional Round win over the Buccaneers.
Williams’ receiving prop is going off at about 27.5 yards, which would make sense to target too. But by choosing 25-plus, it gives bettors an extra three yards of cushion that helps the wager hit.
Reynolds has posted 35-plus yards in two of Detroit’s past three, and the reason I targeted this prop specifically is due to the lucrative odds posted on Caesars. Reynolds Over/Under is set at 34.5 in most books — some are as high as 36.5 — but this line will pay out $0.99 profit per dollar bet.
Plus, Reynolds has been Detroit’s big-play receiver all season, posting an average of 15 yards per catch in both the regular season and playoffs. If he has one or two 20-plus-yard plays this will hit easily.
