📈 No. 2 Arizona vs. No. 6 Clemson Odds

  • Spread: Arizona -7.5 (-105) • Clemson +7.5 (-115)
  • Moneyline: Arizona (-350) • Clemson (+260)
  • Total: Over 152.5 (-105) • Under 152.5 (-115)

These lines for Arizona-Clemson were found at BetMGM Sportsbook and are current as of Monday at noon ET.

Arizona comes in as relatively large favorites because they’re one of the top teams in the nation, while Clemson has been one of the dark horses of the tournament so far.

The total is listed at a high number of 152.5 because these are two potent offenses that can light up the scoreboard.

🔮 Arizona vs. Clemson Prediction

Arizona 76, Clemson 71

We’ll kick off our Arizona vs Clemson prediction by taking a closer look at these two teams using Ken Pomeroy’s rankings:

  • Arizona (5th overall): 9th in adjusted offensive efficiency / 10th in adjusted defensive efficiency
  • Clemson (23rd overall): 24th in adjusted offensive efficiency / 38th in adjusted defensive efficiency

As we can see here, Arizona has the clear advantage as a top five team that ranks in the top 10 on both sides of the floor. The Wildcats are national title contenders this year, so it’s no surprise to see them heavy favorites.

With that said, Clemson is no slouch, ranking in the top 40 on both offense and defense. We’ve seen the Tigers knock off No. 3 Baylor in the Round of 32. Clemson also has an impressive win at North Carolina on February 6.

It will be interesting to see if the Tigers can slow the game down. Clemson ranks 237th in pace, while Arizona is 15th, so the Tigers don’t want to get into a track meet with the Wildcats.

While Arizona has the better team from top to bottom, I could see the Tigers causing some issues with their defense. Clemson has allowed 64 and 56 points throughout the tournament so far.

Look for the Wildcats to squeak out a close win, but Clemson will put a scare into them.

Arizona vs. Clemson Best Bets

Clemson +7.5 () vs Arizona

BetMGM Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 Unit

We’re getting a good number on Clemson +7.5 (-105) at BetMGM, since this spread has fallen to -7 at bet365 and DraftKings.

Look for the Tigers defense to slow down the game just enough to keep the score within range of the 7.5-point spread.

Under 152.5 Points ()

BetMGM Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 Unit

I discussed how Clemson has been able to hold opposing offenses in check throughout the tournament so far.

The major reason why this happens is because of the slow-paced Tigers offense. We could see Clemson slow down the game, plus this is a high number at 152.5.

Targeting the Under also has a positive correlation with Clemson +7.5, since if the Tigers cover, it’s likely a lower-scoring game.
