April 23 NBA Prop Bet Tips
Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors vs. Denver Nuggets
Over 33.5 Points (-115)
Wager: 1 unit (win would pay 1.87 units)
Curry finally had an off night when he scored 18 points against the Wizards on Wednesday. He was just 7-for-25 from the field, including 2-for-14 from behind the arc. The volume of his shot attempts was the key, though. He’s shooting 48.6 percent from the field and 42.5 percent on three-pointers for the season, so look for him to bounce back quickly. He torched the Nuggets when these two teams met last week, scoring 53 points on 24 shot attempts.
Paul George, Los Angeles Clippers at Houston Rockets
Over 40.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-115)
Wager: 1 unit (win would pay 1.87 units)
George has been a monster lately, averaging 32.2 points, 7.4 rebounds and 6.2 assists over his last five games. He averaged 23.6 shot attempts during that stretch, which is a significant increase from his season average of 17.6. Four of those five games came with Kawhi Leonard (foot) out, which he will be again Friday. Expect George’s expanded scoring role to continue.
Darius Bazley, Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Washington Wizards
Over 24.5 Points + Rebounds (-112)
Wager: 1 unit (win would pay 1.89 units)
While the Thunder have been resting players down the stretch, Bazley hasn’t missed a single game since returning from injury. Across those seven contests, he averaged 19.0 points and 7.0 rebounds. With regards to this combined prop, he had at least 25 points and rebounds in five of those seven contests. That included him registering 26 points and seven rebounds against these same Wizards on Monday. I’ll take a chance on him thriving in their rematch, as well.
