April 1 NBA DFS Picks on Monkey Knife Fight: Monkey Knife Fight (MKF) combines elements of daily fantasy sports and traditional prop betting to offer a unique array of contests daily for a multitude of sports, including 4/1/21 NBA DFS Plays.
With NBA season in full swing, MKF enhances the enjoyment of the hardwood with exciting opportunities each night to win cash based on your knowledge of some of the league’s top players.
The Game Day breaks down two MKF contests daily that we feel have profit potential. With Thursday’s slate featuring plenty of big names, here’s a closer look at some opportunities involving some of the most offensively explosive players in action:
April 1 NBA DFS Picks
Charlotte Hornets at Brooklyn Nets
MKF Contest: More Or Less, (Pick 2/2 correctly to win 2.5x your Buy-In)
Gordon Hayward, SF, Charlotte Hornets: More Than 6.5 Rebounds
Hayward has been particularly proficient on the boards in the second half of the season, averaging 7.6 rebounds over the last 10 games. The veteran wing has averaged 7.7 boards in six road contests during that span, and the fact the Nets allow the sixth-lowest shooting percentage (44.7) of any team on its home floor also bodes well for Hayward getting some extra opportunities on the offensive glass. Hayward has pulled down at least seven rebounds in 19 games overall this season, with 11 of those instances coming on the road.
Kyrie Irving, PG, Brooklyn Nets: More Than 4.5 Assists
No team allows more assists per game than the Hornets, which have facilitated 27.5 dimes per contest, including 28.8 per road tilt. Irving already handed out six assists against Charlotte his one previous game against the Hornets this season, and even though James Harden now has primary ball-handling responsibilities in Brooklyn, Irving has still recorded at least five assists in eight of the last 12 contests, and he’s exceeded this benchmark in 21 of 32 games overall.

MKF NBA Fantasy Points Scoring System:
- Point= +1 point
- Assist= +1.5 points
- Rebound= +1.2 points
- Steal= +3 points
- Block= +3 points
- Turnover= -1 point
Nikola Jokic, C, Denver Nuggets: Less Than 52.5 Fantasy Points
Jokic posted 47.8 MKF points in his one prior game against the Clippers this season, but it took him a hefty 38 minutes to do it, and 11 free-throw attempts. L.A. hasn’t exactly been an easy team for centers to rack up fantasy production against, as the Clips are allowing the fifth-lowest offensive efficiency (29.3 percent) to centers, as well as the third-fewest MKF points per game (48.7) to the position on the season. Jokic has also fallen short of 52.5 MKF points in three of the past four contests, and in 10 road games overall.
Kawhi Leonard, SF, Los Angeles Clippers: More Than 47.5 Fantasy Points
Leonard is averaging 49.3 MKF points per 36 minutes without Paul George (foot) on the floor, and that figure goes up to 51.5 when factoring in the absences of Patrick Beverley (knee) and Serge Ibaka (back). Leonard posted 50.5 MKF points across just 30 minutes in his one prior meeting with the Nuggets this season, and Denver continues to have trouble containing small forwards — the Nuggets are giving up the most assists (5.4), fourth-most made threes (3.3) and third-most blocks (1.0) per game to the position over the last 15 games. Leonard has also exceeded 47.5 MKF points in 21 of 40 contests already this season, with 13 of those instances coming on his home floor of Staples Center.
