You don’t have to make things hard on yourself when betting on March Madness, and one of the first things you should embrace is that it’s March, and anything can happen. While I’m not outright saying that Akron is going to unseat one of the stronger teams in the bracket in the Round of 64, you should absolutely take their spread.

Akron is a defense-first team, and that will be key to slowing down a very high-powered Creighton team averaging over 80 points per game. However, though, Creighton has been prone to volatile shooting at times and can go cold, so Akron needs to focus on slowing down Creighton’s ability to hit their corner threes, which is their strong suit.
