49ers-Seahawks Players to Watch
Seahawks QB Russell Wilson has been on an absolute tear this season. He’s also played extremely well when facing his Sunday afternoon opponents.
Although Wilson has thrown for fewer than 237 yards in each of his past five games against the 49ers, he’s accounted for at least 2 touchdowns in four of those matchups — two of which went for at least three. Wilson has also rushed for at least 14 yards in every one of those games while only throwing two picks in that time period.
Wilson is 13-4 lifetime against the 49ers with two of those losses occurring in his past three games.
49ers TE George Kittle is one of the league’s best tight ends, but he’s never really played at an elite level, at least statistically, against the Seahawks.
In five career outings against Seattle, Kittle has accumulated fewer than 7 receptions and 86 yards in every game, finishing with fewer than three receptions and 51 yards three times. Kittle has never scored against the Seahawks.

The Over is 5-2 in Seattle’s last seven games overall and 4-3 in San Francisco’s seven games played this season.

CONSIDER: 49ers (+150)
These in-division matchups are tricky. Although Seattle has the best offense in the league, its defense is horrendous. And that is being nice. Meanwhile, the 49ers have won two consecutive games over the Rams and Patriots. Neither one of those teams are easy outs.
If this game comes down to a defensive stop, my money is on the 49ers, who won their last game in Seattle last December. San Francisco is also 2-1 straight up against the Seahawks in their last three games and 2-3 in their last five.
I’d rather take the 49ers to win outright at (+150) instead of taking them getting the three points at (-105).
CONSIDER: Seahawks -3 (-115)
The Seahawks are 4-2 against the spread this season and 3-2 when giving at least three points. Meanwhile, the 49ers are 2-3 ATS this season when they are at least three-point dogs.
San Francisco is also 4-14 ATS in their last 18 games facing the Seahawks.
Seattle’s last two games have been decided by fewer than three points.
