NHL Props of the Day: Best Hockey Props Today 10/20/21
Taylor Hall: Over 0.5 Points (-105) at BetMGM
Boston Bruins at Philadelphia Flyers, 7:30 ET
Taylor Hall is currently skating on the second line with Charlie Coyle and Craig Smith. Hall is expected to drive the play on that line as the puck-dominant player who can create chances. He is playing on the top powerplay unit with Patrice Bergeron, David Pastrnak, Brad Marchand, and Charlie McAvoy. This should give him plenty of scoring opportunities.
Hall played 15:03 of ice time in the Bruins’ 3-1 win on Saturday. He goes up against a Flyers team that has allowed five goals in two games this season. The Bruins are -140 favorites, giving them a 3.5 implied goal total in this spot. Hall comes at solid value (-105) to get a point in this game.

Cam Atkinson: Over 0.5 Points (-105) at BetMGM
Philadelphia Flyers vs. Boston Bruins, 7:30 ET
Cam Atkinson is the sniper on the red-hot Flyers’ second line that includes Derick Brassard and Joel Farabee. This line has combined for six goals and four assists in two games this season. Atkinson has played 17:39 and 13:46 of ice time so far.
This line stays together as the second powerplay unit for the Flyers, which is good because it helps to continue to develop chemistry. We only need one point for this to hit and it comes at a reasonable price. The Flyers have scored 10 goals in two games this season.
Evgeni Dadonov To Score Goal (+225) at BetMGM
Vegas Golden Knights vs. St. Louis Blues, 10:00 ET
Evgeni Dadonov scored 13 goals in 55 games last season and 25 goals in 69 games in 2019-20. His ice time increased from 14:33 to 17:32 in his last game. He also put up three shots on goal after only one in the first game of the season. This is likely because Max Pacioretty left the game with a lower-body injury.
Pacioretty is the best goal-scorer on the team, so Vegas will need to rely on other wingers like Dadonov to step up in his absence. Dadonov is currently playing on the second line with Nicolas Roy and Chandler Stephenson. He’s also playing the point on the second powerplay unit, giving him a chance to rack up shots on goal. This bet is worth a sprinkle due to its nice value (+225).
