Despite being outscored by their opponents over the first 3 weeks of the NFL season, the Tennessee Titans are 2-1. They enter their week 4 matchup with the Jets after defeating the Colts 25-16.
Titans All-Pro running back and fantasy football superstar Derrick Henry leads the NFL with 353 rush yards, and is one of only three running backs with at least 3 touchdowns heading into Week 4.
Tennessee has been able to lean on Henry as quarterback Ryan Tannehill has gotten off to a slow start. He has 4 touchdowns on the season but has thrown 3 interceptions. He’s also been sacked 10 times, which is third-worst in the NFL.
However, one of only two players who have been sacked more than Tannehill is Jets’ quarterback Zach Wilson, who has been taken down 15 times through three games.
The Jets are one of five winless teams, and will likely remain winless after this weekend. They simply have not been able to put up points and have been outscored 70-20, including a shutout loss last week against the Broncos.

Tennessee Titans vs New York Jets Prediction
The Titans are the clear favorites in this matchup. They totaled 58 points in their last two matchups, both of which were wins, while the Jets scored only 6. That’s quite the disparity.
Tennessee may have a slightly harder time scoring this week, however, as star wide receivers AJ Brown and Julio Jones have been ruled out due to injury, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Also, the Jets’ defense has been the team’s one bright spot so far this season, having given up fewer yards to opponents (328 per game) than the Titans’ defense (359.3 yards per game) through three games. New York has also conceded 14 fewer points than Tennessee on the year, but the Titans’ defense has registered one more sack than the Jets’ defense.
These two teams have somewhat statistically comparable defenses, but Tennessee’s offense is clearly better than New York’s, and this game should end with a Titans’ win.
Look out for Henry and the defense to carry the load in a big win for the Titans.
Betting Pick: Titans 27, Jets 17
Tennessee Titans vs New York Jets Best Bets
Best Bet: Titans -6.5 (-105) at DraftKings
Even though this is a big spread for the NFL and the Jets are playing in MetLife Stadium, they just do not have the offensive weapons that the Titans have, even without Brown and Jones not playing for Tennessee.
New York’s rookie quarterback Zach Wilson is tied for the NFL lead with 7 interceptions. He will have to pass to try to keep up, and that will lead to more turnovers.
With the top two wide receivers out for the Titans, they will have to lean on Derrick Henry, who could have another huge fantasy football day.
The Titans are not a great team by any means, but they should win this game easily, which is reflected in the NFL gameday odds.
Best Bet: Under 44.5 (-110) at BetMGM
Both teams need to perform well to hit the over in this game, but that feels unlikely to happen.
Despite Tennessee scoring 25 and 33 in back to back weeks, the Jets will keep this game from hitting the Over. The safe bet here is counting on another low-scoring game from the Jets that will suppress the total score.
Both teams have had some offensive struggles, and both teams have middle-of-the-pack defenses, so neither team should put up too many points, making this our pick of the day.
Take the safe bet, which is Under 44.5 points.
Titans vs Jets Same Game Parlay Pick: (+110) Total Odds at DraftKings
- Titans -1.5 at DraftKings
- Point Total Under 51.5 at DraftKings
DraftKings has the Over/Under at 44.5 points, but rather than bet this as a straight parlay, turn this into a teaser.
Teasing the spread will get the line down to -1.5 for the Titans. This will also tease up the O/U to 51.5, making the Under feel much more comfortable.
Consider finding another spread or O/U to add to this bet to get the odds a little more in your favor, or take this and get ready to make some money.
