The final week of preseason is upon us, which means the NFL season is finally inching closer.
Last week, we missed out on one parlay by half a point! Ravens -3.5 and Chiefs -2.5 hit, but Lions +5.5 lost. Close call! However, we did hit on the same game parlay with the Chiefs -2.5 and under 41. Not a bad week! Remember that parlay betting is high-variance, just be patient for that big hit. Let’s get it in Week 3!

NFL Week 3 Parlay Picks
- Houston Texans +4 (-110) Spread at BetMGM (vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers)
- Baltimore Ravens -4 (-110) Spread at BetMGM (at Washington Football Team)
- New England Patriots -3.5 (-110) Spread at BetMGM (at New York Giants)
The Houston Texans are a good team to ride throughout this preseason, as they’ve had a ton of roster turnover this offseason and there are several position battles up for grabs throughout this roster.
So far this preseason, the Texans have beaten the Green Bay Packers 26-7 and Dallas Cowboys 20-14. This week they take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who have lost 19-14 to the Cincinnati Bengals and 34-3 to the Tennessee Titans. There’s a lot more at stake for the Texans here, so we’ll ride them and take the points.
The Ravens won their 19th consecutive preseason game last week, knocking off the Carolina Panthers 20-3. It’s tough to find trends or gain an edge with preseason betting, so any time we get a trend like this one, we need to take advantage. Keep rolling with John Harbaugh’s team here against the Washington Football Team.
The New England Patriots will likely be without Cam Newton in this game, as he’s currently in COVID-19 protocols. This is huge news for rookie Mac Jones, as he now has an opportunity to really put a stranglehold on the starting quarterback job.
Jones should be highly motivated for this one and we’re likely to get an extended look at the rookie. Meanwhile, the New York Giants have dropped each of their preseason games so far.
NFL Week 3 Longshot Parlay Prediction
- Houston Texans (+155) Moneyline at BetMGM (vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers)
- Baltimore Ravens (-189) Moneyline at BetMGM (at Washington Football Team)
- New England Patriots (-167) Moneyline at BetMGM (at New York Giants)
- Cleveland Browns (-227) Moneyline at BetMGM (at Atlanta Falcons)
- Tennessee Titans (+115) Moneyline at BetMGM (vs. Chicago Bears)
We’ll start off our longshot parlay by playing the moneyline on each of our spread picks, since there’s nothing that puts me on tilt more than choosing the correct winner without having them cover the spread. The Houston Texans (+155) provide some nice value as 4-point home underdogs.
I also added the Cleveland Browns (-227) who are expensive as 5.5-point favorites, but they’re taking on an Atlanta Falcons team that has been outscored 60-to-20 this preseason, losing by double-digits in each of their two games.
On the other hand, the Browns are undefeated, winning 23-13 over the Jacksonville Jaguars and 17-3 against the New York Giants.
We’ll finish off this longshot parlay with the Tennessee Titans; another team that has really fared well throughout this preseason. The Titans have defeated the Atlanta Falcons 23-3 and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 34-3, outscoring their opponents 57-6. That’s pretty impressive, so we’ll ride the wave against a Chicago Bears team coming off a 41-15 loss to the Buffalo Bills.
Same Game Parlay Picks Week 3
- Baltimore Ravens -4 (-110) Spread at BetMGM (at Washington Football Team)
- Ravens/Washington Under 32.5 (-110) Total at BetMGM
The Baltimore Ravens seem like they’re on a mission to continue to win preseason games. The point spread is low enough to keep us comfortable, even against the nasty defense in Washington. I’m going to add the under because preseason games have been very low-scoring this year, especially with these two teams.
Washington’s two games have finished with a 35-point total and 30-point total, while Baltimore’s have ended up 31 and 23 points. Both of these defenses project to be among the best in football with a lot of depth, so points should be hard to come by in this game.
