New York Jets 2021 Win Total Bet: Schedule, Changes, and Outlook
The Sam Darnold era is over. Zach Wilson is the new golden boy QB of New York, and there will be a lot of pressure on him given the changes to the organization.
Most importantly, Adam Gase is gone, as Robert Saleh is taking over as head coach with a revamped roster thanks to GM Joe Douglas. Douglas made it a priority to build inside-out, beginning with using back-to-back first-round picks on offensive linemen Mekhi Becton and Alijah Vera-Tucker in 2020 and 2021.
Saleh comes in with veteran OC Darrell Bevell and long-time DL coach Joe Cullen to turn this ship around. The WR room is fresh with additions via the draft (Elijah Moore) and free agency (Corey Davis and Keelan Cole). RB Michael Carter was drafted on Day 3, but has made a noticeable impact in training camp worthy of buzz. He and FA addition Tevin Coleman will mix in as the lead backs to lay to waste the days of dusty veterans Le’Veon Bell and Frank Gore.
On the defensive side, Carl Lawson is a welcome addition as the team’s first plus pass-rusher in nearly a decade. on top of that, C.J. Mosley returns from injury to fulfil his massive contract. Mosley was a top ILB not long ago and was deserving of his payday during the offseason.
A lot of talent has been hidden under mediocrity thanks to the general discombobulation of past management but that should change as soon as this season. Even the schedule makes for a likely favorable season with matchups against the Panthers, Falcons, Eagles, Texans, and Bengals all as reasonable wins.

Jets To Win Over 6 Games In 2021-2022 NFL Season (-115)
Despite all of the slander I have spilt on Zach Wilson online, it is hard to imagine a roster with this much talent and under seemingly stable leadership not winning at least 6 games. This, of course, will likely be in spite of Wilson who will merely be asked to do the bare minimum as the 49ers did with Jimmy Garoppolo.
The defense is much stronger versus the run than pass, but additions like Carl Lawson and a shift to a better fit scheme for their personnel may do wonders. This team will be a lot closer to average than terrible this season, and Jets fans should be excited about the change in direction.
