Miami Heat @ Dallas Mavericks (7:30 pm ET)
Luka Doncic: Under 3.5 Three-Pointers Made (-160) at Caesars
Wager: 1 Unit
To paraphrase Ben Franklin, there are only three certainties in life; death, taxes, and Luka Doncic having his hands all over the ball in Dallas Mavericks games. Doncic is one of the most exciting players in basketball and is always a threat to take over a game single-handedly.
Doncic has struggled with his shot this year, however, both from inside and outside the arc. He’s made just 23.8% of his three-point attempts thus far and is averaging only 1.7 triples per game — less than half of the line on this prop.
Doncic is currently averaging seven attempts per game from downtown, which means he either needs to have a stellar shooting night or launch considerably more threes to hit the Over here. His season-high is three treys, which he’s only reached once this season, so even at -160 the juice is worth the squeeze.
Luka Doncic: Does Not Record Double-Double (+100) at DraftKings
Wager: 1 Unit
For this NBA player prop pick, it’s more plausible that Doncic has a double-double as he’s already notched four of them in six games this season. He’s only had one in his last three games, however, which aligns with his rate of 26 double-doubles in 66 games last season.
Against a slow-tempo Miami Heat team that’s allowing the fewest points per game in the NBA this season, I like Doncic at even money to fall short of a double-double tonight.

Sacramento Kings @ Utah Jazz (9:00 pm ET)
Rudy Gobert: Over 14.5 Rebounds (-113) at BetRivers
Wager: 2 Units
Rudy Gobert’s rebound prop of 14.5 seems intimidating, especially for a player averaging 31 minutes a night. However, the Over is my best NBA player prop for tonight’s slate.
One of my favorite stats to look at when analyzing rebound props is total rebound percentage (TRB%), which measures the percentage of rebounds that a player gets when he is on the court.
Gobert leads all NBA players this season with a 28.1% rebounding rate, which explains how he’s averaging an NBA-best 17.2 boards per game. With at least 15 rebounds in four of his six games thus far, I’m taking the Over with Gobert here for my NBA bet of the day.
Rudy Gobert: Records Double-Double (-300) at Caesars
Wager: 1 Unit
In addition to his gaudy rebounding totals, Gobert is also averaging a career-best 16.3 points per game this year thanks to his 72% success rate from the floor as well as the free-throw line. As such, he’s only had one game where he failed to notch a double-double this season, falling one point shy after attempting just three field goals in his most recent contest.
Look for Gobert to be more aggressive with his shot tonight and continue racking up points and rebounds. Even at -300, Gobert is worth betting on here.
