NBA Prop Bets of the Day: Best Basketball Props Today 10/22/21
Indiana Pacers at Washington Wizards (7:00 pm ET)
Domantas Sabonis: Over 33.5 Points + Rebounds (-125) at BetMGM
Wager: 1 Unit
With injuries often creating depth issues for the Indiana Pacers last season, Domantas Sabonis had the best campaign of his career. He averaged personal bests in points (20.3) and assists (6.7) to go along with 12.0 rebounds per game.
The Pacers are once again shorthanded with Caris LeVert (back) and T.J. Warren (foot) out to start the season. Their absences contributed to Sabonis racking up 33 points and 15 rebounds in the season opener, so he should blow past this prop tonight and cash our NBA bet of the day.

New Orleans Pelicans at Chicago Bulls (8:00 pm ET)
Jonas Valanciunas: Over 26.5 Points + Rebounds (-115) at BetMGM
Wager: 1 Unit
Jonas Valanciunas had a breakout campaign for the Memphis Grizzlies last season, compiling career-highs with 17.1 points and 12.5 rebounds per game. Perhaps trying to sell high on him, the Grizz shipped him to the New Orleans Pelicans as part of a three-team trade during the offseason.
The Pelicans already had a big role in store for Valanciunas, but now they need him even more with Zion Williamson (foot) out. Valanciunas struggled with his shot in the season opener, going just 3-of-19 from the floor, but the fact that he took 19 shots and snagged 12 rebounds is encouraging.
Valanciunas has a career .565 field goal percentage, so we can chalk his rough shooting performance up to early-season rust. If he stays aggressive with his shot tonight, he could explode against a bad defensive center in Nikola Vucevic.
San Antonio Spurs at Denver Nuggets (9:00 pm ET)
Jakob Poeltl: Over 18.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-125)
Wager: 1 Unit
Jakob Poeltl mostly came off the bench at the beginning of last season, but he eventually worked his way into the San Antonio Spurs’ starting lineup. He thrived with the increased playing time, averaging 9.8 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 29.2 minutes across 51 starts.
Poeltl is starting again this season and picked right up where he left off, logging 12 points, 13 rebounds, and seven assists across 30 minutes in a season-opening win over the Orlando Magic. While that assists total will be difficult to duplicate, Poeltl is a good passer and should at least threaten a double-double with points and rebounds as well.
