Best NBA Bets Today November 4, 2021 | NBA Betting Picks Of The Day 11/4/21

Richard Janvrin is here with your NBA Best Bets for November 4, 2021 action. See our best NBA bet picks today.

During yesterday’s slate, the NBA saw 10 players go for 30 or more points.

The most intriguing point total came from Golden State Warriors guard Jordan Poole, who went for 31 on a season-high 32 minutes played. This came in complete domination of the Charlotte Hornets, as the Warriors won 114-92.

The leading scorer on the day, however, was DeMar DeRozan of the Chicago Bulls, who managed 37 points in a losing effort against the Philadelphia 76ers with Joel Embiid back on the floor.

Today, Thursday, November 4, we have five games to sort through, with the nationally televised games being the Boston Celtics at Miami Heat and Houston Rockets at the Phoenix Suns.

Let’s dive in.

All NBA gameday odds and lines are current as of 11:00 a.m. ET on Thursday, November 4.

NBA Bets of the Day 11/4/21

Philadelphia 76ers @ Detroit Pistons, 7:10 p.m. ET

Best Bet: 76ers -6 (-110) at Caesars

After being more than 10-point favorites last week at home against the Pistons, we are seeing that spread shrink to 6 on the road for the 76ers.

Of course, the headline surrounding Philadelphia is Ben Simmons and his availability, but it appears the team will have to move on without him indefinitely if not permanently.

With that said, the 76ers saw Embiid come back into the fold last night, shooting 6-of-18, including a three-pointer and 5-of-9 from the free-throw line. He totaled 18 points, nine rebounds, seven assists, a steal, and a potentially game-saving block in 34 minutes.

While we seem to never know if Embiid will play on a day-to-day basis, hopefully after his day of rest prior to Wednesday, he’ll be back in the fold.

The eight-point win from last week could obscure judgment here on the road, but the 76ers are still leading the league in field goal percentage at 49.3 percent. They also rank inside the top-five in the league in blocks per game, three-point percentage, and free throw percentage.

The Pistons throughout this season have struggled to score and average just over 95 points per game, ranking No. 30 in the league.

Not covering last week could make you shy away, but take the 76ers here and make this your NBA bet of the day.

Utah Jazz @ Atlanta Hawks, 7:10 p.m. ET

Best Bet: Jazz -1.5 (-110) at WynnBET

This pick could come back to haunt me, but the Atlanta Hawks will be playing in their third game in four days, and this game at home against the Jazz comes after a nine-point road loss against the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday night.

Meanwhile, the Jazz are coming off a much-needed day of rest after not covering against the Sacramento Kings at home.

It’s no secret that the Jazz are banged up. Rudy Gay will be out once again, Donovan Mitchell and Royce O’Neale are questionable, and Jared Butler and Hassan Whiteside are probable. With the exception of Butler, all of these players are dealing with ankle sprains.

However, if at least Mitchell can suit up, that still gives the Jazz a starting five consisting of Mike Conley, Mitchell, Bojan Bogdanovic, and Rudy — O’Neale would likely play the power forward position if he can suit up.

The Jazz also rank among the top-five in the league in multiple statistical categories such as points per game, rebounds per game, free throw percentage, net rating, offensive rating, defensive rating, and second-chance points.

The Hawks are scoring over 107 points per game and do rank top-five in free throw percentage and rebounds per game, but after a day of rest and the Jazz hopefully having some key contributors back on the court, this should be a good spot to cover with the Hawks playing on the second night of a back-to-back.

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Los Angeles Lakers, 10:40 p.m. ET

Best Bet: Thunder +14 (-110) at Caesars

The Los Angeles Lakers are the oldest team in the league, and the injury report reflects that. It’s a laundry list of players with some kind of injury status, including five players out, headlined by Trevor Ariza.

Also questionable in this one are Dwight Howard and LeBron James, while Anthony Davis and Wayne Ellington are also dealing with left ankle and left hamstring injuries, respectively.

Against the Thunder, this could be a prime spot for the Lakers to sit more guys than usual. In the end, the Lakers should win the game, but they will not cover the 14.

The core of the Thunder’s roster is intact, and while that’s not exactly daunting, they should be able to keep it close against a top contender in the league.
