The Elite 8 is an elite occasion for same-game-parlay betting.
For the first time all NCAA Tournament, there will only be one game played at a time, which means if you’re a parlay bettor, same-game parlays are about your only option.
Kansas State vs Florida Atlantic will be the early game in the Elite 8 on Saturday, pitting two offensive-minded clubs against each other in the East Regional final at MSG.
Here’s a look at a couple of parlay bets I like for the regional final.
Pat Pickens’ March Madness Betting Record: 24-16 (+13.2 units)

Kansas State vs Florida Atlantic Best Same Game Parlay
Kansas State vs Florida Atlantic Best SGP (+165) • DraftKings Sportsbook
WAGER: 1 Unit
- Kansas State Moneyline (-145)
- Over 140.5 Total Points (-190)
- Kansas State: Over 71.5 Points (-165)
I flirted with adding a Markquis Nowell stat-combo prop, since he is likely to carry the Wildcats offense if they win and score points, but didn’t want to mess with this parlay in the event of an off-night.
This parlay would’ve easily hit in K-State’s win over Michigan State, and FAU is a more offensively potent team than the Spartans. There’s no spread to cover, so as long as Kansas State finishes one point better than Florida Atlantic, this should hit.
In this parlay, a 72-69 KSU win would hit as would any other K-State victory with more points, too.

Kansas State vs Florida Atlantic Longshot Same Game Parlay
Kansas State vs Florida Atlantic Longshot SGP (+600) • DraftKings Sportsbook
WAGER: 0.5 Units
- Kansas State Moneyline (-145)
- Kansas State: Over 75.5 Points (+115)
- Markquis Nowell: Over 29.5 Points + Assists (+150)
- Keyontae Johnson: Over 24.5 Points + Rebounds (-120)
Nowell and Keyontae Johnson have largely carried the Wildcats in the tournament, and Johnson has been a force in every game he hasn’t had to battle 2022 National Player of the Year Oscar Tshiebwe. Johnson is averaging 24 points plus rebounds per game, only dragged down by his 13 and 4 performance against the elite Kentucky big man in the Wildcats’ upset win.
Read all of our Kansas State vs Florida Atlantic picks:
Nowell has cleared 30 points plus assists in each of K-State’s three tournament games, including his jaw-dropping 20-point, 19-assist, five-steal performance in the Wildcats’ OT win over Michigan State. Nowell has had a double-double with points and assists in two of Kansas State’s three games, only missing three straight by posting just nine assists in the Wildcats’ win over Kentucky.
Don’t be stunned if Nowell puts K-State on his back in the Elite 8 and produces 30 points himself despite the fact he’s only done that twice during the regular season.
The other two parlay legs will be safe if the player props hit, I think.
