The first game of the Sweet 16 will be a matchup between the Gonzaga Bulldogs and Arkansas Razorbacks. While we’ve already seen several surprising upsets during March Madness, both teams have survived the chaos thus far.
The road to the Sweet 16 hasn’t been easy, however, as both teams had to fight to get here. Now, they’ll face off on Thursday with a trip to the Elite 8 on the line.

A major reason for this was likely the ball that the NCAA chose to use, which looked completely different from the one employed during the regular season. However, we should expect the remaining 16 teams to be more comfortable with the ball after practicing with it this week, leading to better shooting and more points.

If the Bulldogs can rediscover their shooting stroke, this one’s over. That was the reason the first two rounds were so difficult for them, but it’s only a matter of time before they find their rhythm.

Meanwhile, the Razorbacks’ offense has been inconsistent all season long, which will be evident when Gonzaga pulls away during their cold stretches.
Gonzaga has been consistently scoring over 80 points per game all season long, which should continue.
Look for Arkansas to get some easy buckets at the end of the game once the Bulldogs have wrapped things up, which should help with the Over as part of our CBB bet of the day.

Again, Gonzaga is going to get their points and Arkansas will get meaningless buckets at the end. Still, the superior free-throw shooting and overall shot-making ability of the Bulldogs will enable them to win comfortably.
