Alabama is ranked third in KenPom’s adjusted defensive efficiency rankings, and they restrict their opposition to only 37.2% shooting from the field. The Crimson Tide are also an excellent rebounding team, leading Division 1 basketball with 44.4 rebounds per game.
For the Terps to have a chance in this game, senior guard Jahmir Young will have to play better as he only had 10 points with six turnovers against West Virginia. I don’t expect a high-scoring game as Maryland will look to slow down the pace.
