The Toronto Raptors simply don’t want to get sent home in the playoffs. Despite losing the first three games of the series to the Philadelphia 76ers, the Raptors have forced a Game 6 in Toronto. Even with Fred VanVleet sidelined in Game 5, the Raptors were able to defeat the 76ers on their home court, 103-88.
It remains to be seen if VanVleet can return from the hip injury he suffered in Game 4. Regardless of his status, we know that the Raptors are going to compete throughout, with their starters playing heavy minutes.
Are the 76ers going to let another game slip away to let the Raptors force a Game 7? Ahead of Thursday’s pivotal Game 6, here is how I see the game transpiring, plus, I share how I’ll be betting the contest.

76ers vs Raptors Game 6 Prediction
All of the pressure was already on the 76ers entering this series, but it’s mounting even higher with Philadelphia failing to close the series out in the past two games. While the 76ers would love to send the Raptors home in front of Toronto’s electric crowd, I believe the Raptors force a Game 7.
Joel Embiid hasn’t looked nearly as dominant since we learned that he’s dealing with a torn ligament in his thumb, and James Harden has been extremely inefficient on the offensive end. It’s been tough trusting Harden in the postseason for years, and it’s clear that the narrative surrounding his playoff woes hasn’t dissipated.
Even if VanVleet is ruled out, the Raptors have deployed a lineup with multiple bigs that caused issues for the 76ers in Game 5 that will do the same in Game 6.
76ers vs Raptors Game 6 Score Pick
Raptors 111, 76ers 106
We’ve seen the 76ers crumble under pressure in the playoffs before, and we might be witnessing yet another collapse from them. Doc Rivers didn’t have an answer for Nick Nurse’s adjustments in Game 5, and it has yet to be determined if he’ll make counter-adjustments in Game 6.
Pascal Siakam, OG Anunoby, and Gary Trent Jr. have been leading the Raptors in recent games with VanVleet dealing with multiple injuries. Meanwhile, the 76ers may need a special performance from Harden if they hope to avoid a third straight loss, which is hard to trust right now.
It will be a close contest in Game 6, but the Raptors will look to become the first team in NBA history to win a series after being down 3-0 by forcing a Game 7 in Philadelphia.
76ers vs Raptors Game 6 Best Bets
OVER 209.5 Total Points (-110)
WAGER: 1 Unit
They continue to lower the projected total for each game, and I continue to lean on the Over. Since Game 1 where we saw 242 points scored, we’ve only seen 210+ points scored once in the next four games of the series.
That being said, this is a must-win game for both squads, so I’m expecting a similar environment as Game 1 where both teams are pushing the tempo.
The Under is 6-4 in the last 10 meetings between the 76ers and the Raptors. With both teams getting an extra day of rest between Games 5 and 6, I believe we’ll get a faster-paced contest that results in more points on the scoreboard.
Raptors Moneyline (+105)
WAGER: 1 Unit
It’s certainly possible that we get a more aggressive Harden in Game 6, especially after Embiid called him out. However, the Raptors are selling out on preventing Embiid from wreaking havoc, forcing the other members of the 76ers to carry them to victory.
As talented as Harden is, I just can’t bring myself to trust in him to deliver a game-winning performance in the playoffs. Meanwhile, guys like Siakam, Anunoby, and Chris Boucher understand what it takes to play at a championship level.
- Check out our 76ers vs Raptors Game 6 Props for more on this NBA Playoffs series.
While the 76ers could very well secure a win in Game 7, I believe the Raptors perform well in front of their home crowd in Game 6 to extend the series.
76ers vs Raptors Game 6 Parlay
Best Same-Game Parlay (+250)

Seeing that I like the Over of 209.5 points and the Raptors to win Game 6, I parlayed them together on BetMGM to get a bet at (+250) odds.
If you’re someone that is looking to create a safer parlay than this one, you can select a lower alternate total or mess around with Toronto’s alternate spreads.
PREVIOUSLY: 76ers vs Raptors Game 5 Prediction
The Toronto Raptors were able to force a Game 5 in their first-round playoff series versus the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday. Despite Fred VanVleet leaving with an apparent hip injury in the first half, the Raptors fought their way to a 110-102 victory at home.
The 76ers are dealing with an injury of their own as Joel Embiid is playing through a ligament ailment in his thumb, which seemed to limit him in Game 4 as he finished with 21 points and eight rebounds on 7-16 shooting.
Can the Raptors get back into the series? Or will the 76ers close out the series on Monday at home? See how I believe Game 5 will transpire below, along with my favorite bets for the contest.
76ers vs Raptors Game 5 Odds
All NBA gameday odds are provided by BetMGM Sportsbook and current as of Sunday, April 24, at 10 a.m. ET.
- Moneyline: 76ers (-350), Raptors (+260)

76ers vs Raptors Game 5 Prediction
The good news for the Raptors is that they were able to get their Rookie of the Year Scottie Barnes back on the floor during Saturday’s Game 4 matchup. Barnes would post six points, 11 rebounds, and two assists in 25 minutes of action. Meanwhile, VanVleet exited Game 4 early with a hip injury, leading to him ripping his jersey in frustration.
It has yet to be revealed what VanVleet’s status is for Monday’s contest, but it didn’t look good when the injury occurred. That being said, the veteran point guard could force himself to play in a win-or-go-home game. If he does suit up, I expect him to be limited in what he can do on the floor.
Without a fully healthy VanVleet or Barnes, I don’t believe the Raptors can squeak out another win in this series. Toronto can keep it somewhat close for the majority of the game, but Philadelphia will have a little more gas in the tank when the fourth quarter arrives.
76ers vs Raptors Game 5 Score Pick
76ers 111, Raptors 105
It will be interesting to see how Embiid’s thumb affects him going forward, but I don’t believe it will matter much in this series. Aside from Embiid, the 76ers have three other guys averaging 18-plus points per game, and Philadelphia will head back home after splitting the two games in Toronto.
Matisse Thybulle will be back for the 76ers, which mainly aids their defense. The Raptors just seem to be suffering injuries at an unfortunate time and even if Barnes and/or VanVleet are active Monday, they won’t be 100 percent healthy.
The 76ers have struggled to put teams away this season, which is why the Raptors can hang around for the majority of the contest. However, Philadelphia’s ability to draw fouls and get easy points will prove to be the difference in Game 5.
76ers vs Raptors Game 5 Best Bets
76ers vs Raptors: OVER 209.5 Total Points (-110)
WAGER: 1 Unit
I’ve taken the Over in the last two games of the series and have been burned. But with the projected total being lowered to 209.5 for Game 5, it’s tough not to side with the Over again.
We’ve seen 210-plus points scored in two of the four games played in the series thus far. Also, in the last 10 meetings between the 76ers and the Raptors, they’ve combined for 210-plus points in seven of them.
Philadelphia will be looking to close out the series and prevent a wild comeback from Toronto. On the other side of the court, the Raptors will be looking to steal another win, so I expect both teams to be pushing the ball, similar to Game 1. While I’m not expecting 242 points like Game 1, we can easily get 210-plus points from these two squads.
Raptors Cover +7.5 Spread (-110)
WAGER: 1 Unit
Entering Game 4, the Raptors were only two-point underdogs to the 76ers. Toronto would proceed to win their first game of the series and cover the spread. Following their victory, the Raptors are now 7.5-point underdogs for Game 5, which is likely due to the uncertainty surrounding VanVleet.
Even if VanVleet is inactive, Toronto can keep it somewhat close in Game 5. Pascal Siakam, OG Anunoby, Barnes, and Gary Trent Jr. are all capable of making it a game, especially if Embiid remains hindered by his thumb injury.
Despite the Raptors going 2-6 against the spread in their last eight games on the road versus the 76ers, I believe the 7.5-point spread for Game 5 is a bit too much.
76ers vs Raptors Game 5 Parlay
Best Same-Game Parlay (+225)
- Raptors Cover +7.5 Spread
- OVER 209.5 Total Points
WAGER: 1 Unit
When you go into the “one-game parlay” tab on BetMGM, the total is set at 210.5. You’ll need to go into the alternate totals to get over 209.5 points and you can lower it a bit further if you want to create a safer parlay. If you combine Toronto to cover the spread with 209.5 points being scored, it should come to a bet at +225 odds.
PREVIOUS: 76ers-Raptors Game 4 Pick
The Toronto Raptors are looking to avoid the dreaded sweep in their first-round series against the Philadelphia 76ers. The Sixers have been able to jump out to a 3-0 lead after overcoming a double-digit deficit in Game 3.
The Raptors desperately needed to secure a victory in Game 3 in front of their home crowd to get back into the series. However, the absence of Scottie Barnes and the performance of Philadelphia’s entire roster thus far has put Toronto in a win-or-go-home situation in Game 4.
With the Raptors having their backs against the wall, will they rise to the occasion on Saturday? Keep reading below to see how I see Game 4 playing out between the Raptors and the 76ers.

NBA Sportsbook Play of the Day
76ers vs Raptors Game 4 Prediction
There were moments in Game 3 that made it seem that the Raptors could pull off the upset to make the series 2-1. Joel Embiid and the other members of the 76ers were able to erase a 10-point deficit at halftime to force overtime.
Philadelphia would win the game 104-101 after outscoring Toronto 9-6 in overtime. With Barnes inactive for the Raptors, the starters are beginning to look gassed for Toronto. Unless he’s able to return on Saturday, I expect the 76ers to take care of business and close out the series.
It has been a fantastic series for guys like Tyrese Maxey and Tobias Harris, while James Harden has been a great facilitator on the offensive end. When the 76ers are firing on all cylinders like they are right now, they’re a tough team to beat.
The Raptors are going to put up a fight on Saturday to attempt to avoid the sweep, but it won’t be enough to extend the series.
76ers vs Raptors Game 4 Score Pick
76ers 117, Raptors 109
It was a fairly low-scoring game in Game 3, with both teams combining for only 205 points despite reaching overtime. In what could be the final game of the series, I expect some fireworks as both teams will be trying hard to secure the win on Saturday.
If Philly’s starters continue to shoot efficiently, the Raptors may need special performances from Pascal Siakam, Fred VanVleet, OG Anunoby, and Gary Trent Jr. to get their first win of the series. Even with Toronto making it a game, Philadelphia will pull away in the fourth quarter to win 117-109.
76ers vs Raptors Game 4 Best Bets
76ers Moneyline (-140)
WAGER: 1 Unit
We’re going right back to taking the 76ers moneyline in Game 4. While the Raptors have shown glimpses of life at times, they haven’t done enough to make me think that they can win a game in this series.
Even though we’ve seen the 76ers struggle in high-pressure situations, I believe Embiid and Harden realize how important it is to close the series out as soon as possible. Barring Kawhi Leonard emerging from the ashes and suddenly putting on a Raptors uniform again, I’m comfortable predicting the sweep to happen.
OVER 213.5 Total Points (-110)
WAGER: 1 Unit
After missing on the Over in Game 3 despite the game going to overtime, I’m siding with the Over again in Game 4. It has been decreased by one point from Game 3 to 213.5, which is certainly obtainable for both of these teams.
- Check out our 76ers vs Raptors Game 4 Props.
While these two squads play at slow paces, there are plenty of capable scorers in this series. Embiid alone can give us 30+ points, and the 76ers could very well score 115-120 themselves in Game 4. We’ll just need the Raptors to score 105-ish points for us to achieve the over.
76ers vs Raptors Game 4 Parlay
Best Same-Game Parlay (+210)

WAGER: 1 Unit
By taking the 76ers to win the game and the Over of 213.5 points, you can get a bet that comes to (+210) odds. BetMGM also allows you to use alternate totals and spreads for those that want to create a safer parlay.
PREVIOUSLY: 76ers-Raptors Game 3 Prediction
The Philadelphia 76ers have imposed their will on the Toronto Raptors in the first two games of the first-round series. Both Game 1 and Game 2 have been decided by 15+ points, with the 76ers having no trouble scoring the basketball, averaging 121.5 points per game.
The Raptors already have a thin rotation and an injury to Scottie Barnes, plus Gary Trent Jr.‘s illness isn’t doing Toronto any favors. At the very least, the Raptors will get an opportunity to secure their first win of the series at home on Wednesday night, especially with Matisse Thybulle unable to play for the 76ers.
Will Toronto be able to inch closer in the series? Or will Philadelphia extend their series lead to 3-0? Check out below how I envision Game 3 going on Wednesday night.
76ers vs Raptors Game 3 Odds

- Over/Under: Over 216.5 (-110) / Under 216.5 (-110)
- Implied Score: 76ers 109, Raptors 107.5
76ers vs Raptors Game 3 Prediction
The first game of the series was the Tyrese Maxey and Tobias Harris show for the 76ers, where they combined for 64 points. However, after Joel Embiid scored only 19 points in Game 1, the potential MVP was aggressive in Game 2, leading the way with 31 points.
It was known that the Raptors wouldn’t have anyone to slow down Embiid, especially with a lack of size at the center position. Even when Toronto doubles Embiid, Philadelphia’s other contributors are knocking down shots efficiently.
The 76ers have made 51% or more of their shots in each of the first two games of the series and the Raptors starters look gassed already due to having to play heavier minutes with Barnes sidelined. If Barnes or Trent — or both — are forced to miss Game 3, it’s hard for me to see Toronto securing their first win of the series.
76ers vs Raptors Game 3 Score Pick
76ers 114, Raptors 104
I do believe we’ll get a valiant effort from the Raptors in Game 3. It was a close game in the first half of Game 2, but Toronto’s starters began to run out of gas, allowing Philadelphia to pull away.
Pascal Siakam, Fred VanVleet, and OG Anunoby are likely going to play upwards of 40 minutes on Wednesday, however, it won’t be enough. Embiid, Harris, Maxey, and James Harden will prove to be too much for the Raptors for the third consecutive game.
76ers vs Raptors Game 3 Best Bets
76ers Moneyline (-130)
WAGER: 1 Unit
The 76ers have shown no signs of slowing down in the first two games of the series. Philadelphia has too much firepower for a Toronto team that could be without two of their starters in Game 3. Unless Barnes and Trent can return on Wednesday — and not be extremely limited — then the Raptors would have a chance.
That being said, this is looking like it’s going to be a quick series for the 76ers. You can also take the spread in favor of Philadelphia for slightly better odds.
Over 216.5 Total Points (-110)
WAGER: 1 Unit
In the first game of the series, we witnessed these teams combine for 242 total points, with the 76ers accounting for 131 of them. The second game had a total of 209 points scored, as Philadelphia produced 112 points. Over the last six meetings between these two squads, the total has been reached in four of them.
- Check out our 76ers vs Raptors Game 3 Props.
Seeing that Thybulle is out for the 76ers, the Raptors should have more success on the perimeter. We know Philadelphia is capable of scoring 115+ points themselves, so we just need around 100 points from Toronto to achieve the Over.
76ers vs Raptors Game 3 Parlay
Best Same-Game Parlay (+250)
- 76ers Moneyline
- OVER 216.5 Total Points
WAGER: 1 Unit
Seeing that I like the 76ers to win and the Over of 216.5 to hit, I combined them to get a bet at (+250) odds. Once again, you can mess around with the alternate spreads and alternate totals if you’re looking for a somewhat safer parlay.
The Philadelphia 76ers came out swinging in Game 1 of their first-round series against the Toronto Raptors, securing a lopsided 131-111 victory in large part due to the stellar performance of Tyrese Maxey.
Maxey recorded a playoff-best 38 points on 14-21 shooting, converting five of his eight three-point attempts.
On the other side of the court, the Raptors experienced foul trouble with Fred VanVleet and Chris Boucher, while Scottie Barnes suffered what is being reported as an ankle sprain.
If Barnes is forced to miss an extended period of time, the outlook of this series could shift drastically.

- Over/Under: Over 219.5 (-105) / Under 219.5 (-115)
- Implied Score: 76ers 113, Raptors 106.5
76ers vs Raptors Game 2 Prediction
In the first game of the series, the 76ers set the tone early by moving the ball around and getting contributions from all of their starters. Joel Embiid had 19 points and 15 rebounds, Maxey had 38 points, James Harden had 22 points and 14 assists, and Tobias Harris supplied 26 points.
It was a perfect start to the series for Philadelphia, while Toronto could lose a marquee starter in Barnes due to an ankle ailment. There were moments where it appeared that the Raptors could sneak back into the game, only for the 76ers to nix their efforts.
Depending on Barnes’ status for Game 2 — which doesn’t look great considering how much pain he was in — Philadelphia appears poised to jump out to a 2-0 lead.
76ers vs Raptors Game 2 Score Pick
76ers 119, Raptors 107
Everything seemed to go according to plan for the 76ers in Game 1. Philadelphia had five players score in double figures, they made 16 of their 32 three-point shots, and they only had three turnovers.
The scary thing is that Embiid didn’t need to do much for the 76ers to win with ease.
The injury to Barnes looms large for the Raptors, as they already have a thin rotation that forces their starters to play heavy minutes. If Barnes is able to suit up and play his usual minutes, I’d predict an upset in Game 2 for Toronto, but we’ll have to wait and see.
I’m expecting Barnes to miss at least one game in this series, so I’ll currently predict that the 76ers will take care of business again at home.
76ers vs Raptors Game 2 Best Bets
OVER 219.5 Total Points (-105)
WAGER: 1 Unit
Entering Game 1 of the series, I predicted that the Raptors and 76ers were going to try to push the ball in an attempt to set the tone. Despite the lack of turnovers, both teams were able to get plenty of transition points.
Sportsbooks are increasing the Over for Game 2, as these teams combined for 242 points in Game 1. While these teams typically play at slower paces, 219.5 points is still achievable.
In the last five meetings between these teams (all this season), they’ve combined for 220+ points in four of them. I expect another high-scoring affair on Monday, regardless of Barnes’ status.
76ers Cover -6.5 Spread (-110)
WAGER: 1 Unit
As previously mentioned, my stance on the outcome of Game 2 is dependent on the status of Barnes. If the rookie forward is able to play, I believe we see the Raptors respond in a big way.
- Check out our 76ers vs Raptors Game 2 Props.
Embiid will likely be more active on the offensive end, and if Philadelphia is going to get consistent contributions from Maxey and Harris, it’s going to be a short series for Toronto.
In the scenario that Barnes is inactive in Game 2, I see the 76ers winning by at least seven points on Monday night.
76ers vs Raptors Game 2 Parlay
Best Same-Game Parlay (+260)
- 76ers Cover -6.5 Spread

WAGER: 1 Unit
Seeing that I believe that the game will achieve the over and the 76ers win by at least seven points, you can parlay them on BetMGM to get a bet at (+260) odds.
I’d take the spread in favor of the Raptors if Barnes suits up, but that doesn’t seem likely at the moment. If you want to make a somewhat safer parlay, you can mess around with the alternate spreads and totals.
The time has come for the Toronto Raptors and the Philadelphia 76ers to begin their anticipated first-round series in the NBA playoffs. The Raptors enter the series as the No. 5 seed in the Eastern Conference, while the 76ers finished as the No. 4 seed.
It’s a tough draw for Philadelphia in the first round, especially since it looked like they could have faced the Chicago Bulls if they secured the No. 3 seed. However, the 76ers will look to step up to the challenge of putting the fire out on a hot Raptors team that’s won 14 of its last 18 games.
There’s no doubt that it should be an exciting series, featuring talented players like Joel Embiid, James Harden, Pascal Siakam, and Fred VanVleet. Check out below how I’m betting Game 1 on Saturday night.
76ers vs Raptors Game 1 Odds
All NBA gameday odds are provided by BetMGM and current as of Friday, April 15, at 10 a.m. ET.
- Moneyline: Raptors (+155), 76ers (-190)
- Spread: Raptors +4.5 (-110), 76ers -4.5 (-110)
- Over/Under: Over 215.5 (-110), Under 215.5 (-110)
- Implied Score: 76ers 110, Raptors 105.5
76ers vs Raptors Game 1 Prediction
The first game of the anticipated series between the Raptors and the 76ers will take place on Saturday night. The Raptors are the underdogs in this series, and all of the pressure falls on the 76ers to deliver in the postseason with their All-Star duo of Embiid and Harden.
During the regular season, Toronto defeated Philadelphia in three of their meetings, including each of their last two.
The Raptors have a deep group of talented players, rounded out by OG Anunoby, Scottie Barnes, and Gary Trent Jr. They’ve helped Toronto get on a hot streak entering the playoffs.
However, while Toronto can be effective on the offensive glass, they won’t have anyone that can contain Embiid.
We’ll get the playmaking version of Harden in Game 1 as he dishes out assists to Embiid and the other key contributors on the 76ers. Even though I see Toronto pulling off the upset to win the series, Philadelphia secures a narrow victory in front of their home fans on Saturday night.
76ers vs Raptors Game 1 Score Pick
76ers 115, Raptors 110
I’m expecting a special performance from Embiid in this game to help propel the 76ers over the Raptors in Game 1. Embiid knows that he might not be the favorite to win MVP, but he’s going to show that he’s deserving of the prestigious award by dominating in the playoffs.
While I expect Harden to falter in this series, he’ll do enough — along with Tyrese Maxey and Tobias Harris — to prevent the 76ers from falling 0-1 to begin the series. Toronto will make it interesting late in the game, however, Embiid proves to be too much.
76ers vs Raptors Game 1 Best Bets
OVER 215.5 Total Points (-110)
WAGER: 1 Unit
On the surface, it appears that this is going to be a defensive-centric series, though the 76ers are less formidable on that end with Harden on the court. Also, these teams play at the fifth- and sixth-slowest paces in the NBA, so why do I believe the Over hits?
In three of the four meetings between these two teams this season, the Over hit and there were 223+ points scored in each of those three games. The Over is set at 215.5 in Game 1, and this is likely due to the sportsbooks believing that both teams are going to come out slow to begin the series.
I think the 76ers will try to push the ball with Harden and Maxey, preventing the Raptors from being able to get into their half-court defense. Toronto is also a team that is capable of pushing the ball and dishing out their shooters in VanVleet, Trent Jr., and Anunoby, which is why this is my NBA bet of the day.
76ers Moneyline (-190)
WAGER: 1 Unit
I know that saying a Game 1 is a must-win game for either team seems ludicrous, but this almost feels like a must-win game for the 76ers. Philadelphia already has a ton of pressure to perform well with Embiid and Harden, and losing Game 1 at home would be less than ideal.
- Check out our 76ers vs Raptors Game 1 Props.
On top of that, the 76ers realize that they’ll need to do everything they can to win their home games, as Matisse Thybulle won’t be available in road games in the series due to his vaccination status.
Despite the Raptors’ efforts in Game 1, the 76ers will ease some of the pressure by jumping out to a 1-0 lead in the series, making Philadelphia’s moneyline an intriguing bet.
76ers vs Raptors Game 1 Parlay
Best Same-Game Parlay (+195)
- Over 215.5 Total Points (-110)
- 76ers Moneyline (-190)
WAGER: 1 Unit
By combining the Over of 216.5 points and the moneyline for the 76ers in Game 1, you can get a bet at (+195) odds for both events to occur.
You can mess around with the alternate totals and alternate spreads if you want to attempt to create a watered-down version of this parlay, but there’s great value in banking on this to hit.
The Philadelphia 76ers and the Toronto Raptors are slated to square off in the first round of the NBA playoffs. The 76ers finished the regular season as the No. 4 seed in the Eastern Conference, while the Raptors posted a 48-34 record to secure the No. 5 seed. Toronto won the season series 3-1.
This matchup won’t be short on talented players. The 76ers feature a dynamic duo of Joel Embiid and James Harden, along with Tyrese Maxey, Tobias Harris, and Matisse Thybulle.
Meanwhile, the Raptors have a well-rounded roster with Fred VanVleet, OG Anunoby, Pascal Siakam, Scottie Barnes, Precious Achiuwa, and Gary Trent Jr.
Will Philadelphia be able to live up to the expectations that were placed upon them when they acquired Harden? Or will Toronto’s championship experience and grittiness prove to be too much for the 76ers?
76ers vs Raptors Odds
All NBA gameday odds are provided by BetRivers Sportsbook and current as of Wednesday, April 13, at 1 p.m. ET.
- Series Winner: 76ers (-186), Raptors (+150)
76ers vs Raptors Series Prediction
As mentioned above, the Raptors have had the 76ers’ number in the regular season, winning three of the four matchups between these two squads. Two of those wins by Toronto came in the final few weeks of the regular season, so it’s not like these teams haven’t seen each other recently.
The Raptors have caused issues for the 76ers by grabbing offensive rebounds and getting second-chance points in bunches. During the regular season, Toronto recorded the second-most (13.4) offensive rebounds per game, while Philadelphia allowed the 13th-most (44.2) rebounds per game.
The fact that Thybulle won’t be able to play the road games in this series due to his vaccination status also looms large for the 76ers, leaving them without their best wing defender.
And while the Raptors don’t have anyone that can slow down Embiid, he can’t win the series himself. I’m concerned with Harden failing to perform consistently in the postseason once again.
Toronto has a variety of guys in Siakam, VanVleet, Barnes, Anunoby, Trent, Achiuwa, and even Chris Boucher that could make life difficult for Philadelphia, which is why I’m taking them to upset the 76ers.
76ers vs Raptors Series Pick
Raptors in 6 games
There’s no doubt that this series could go to seven games. The 76ers have the potential MVP in Embiid, and the Raptors have players that know what it takes to win a championship. This could be a series that gets ugly at times, which favors Toronto.
It remains to be seen if VanVleet or Anunoby are limited by their recent injuries, but if they are healthy, it’s hard to trust Philadelphia as the favorites. Embiid will put together a special series, however, it won’t be enough as Siakam and the Raptors continue riding their hot streak from recent months.
I also trust Nick Nurse more in high-pressure situations than Doc Rivers.
76ers vs Raptors Best Bets
Raptors Cover +1.5 Series Spread (-162)
WAGER: 1 Unit
I’ve already chosen the Raptors to win the series outright, so it only makes sense that I’d bet on them to cover the series spread. You can get Toronto to keep the series within one game for (-162) at BetRivers.
The Raptors have the firepower to beat the 76ers, and I don’t see a scenario where Philadelphia runs away with the series. Take Toronto to cover the series spread with confidence.
