Nuggets vs Suns Prop Bets

Last Updated: May 11, 2023

It was a down night for Jamal Murray in Game 5, scoring just 19 points. However, he didn’t have to have a big performance, as the Nuggets had five players — including Murray — score in double figures.

Kevin Durant also had a down night scoring (for his standards) but continues to be dominant on the boards and cashed his rebounds prop.

Let’s dive into the best props for Game 6 between the Nuggets and Suns.

Nuggets vs Suns Game 6 Player Prop Odds

Use our NBA odds to locate the best ways to bet on playoff prop bets:

Nuggets vs Suns Game 6 Player Props

Michael Porter Jr.: Over 6.5 Rebounds (-115) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

Porter Jr. has grabbed at least eight rebounds in three straight games. He only played 23 minutes in Game 2, but has seen at least 28 minutes in each game that’s followed.

With the Suns busy boxing out Nikola Jokić in the paint, it opens up opportunities for Porter Jr. and others to grab open rebounds. At 6.5 boards, the line here is favorable enough for me to make this my NBA bet of the day.

Kevin Durant: Over 8.5 Rebounds (-145) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

I’ve played this prop for three straight games now, and I’m going right back to it as the line has not changed. Durant has at least nine rebounds in four games this series, and in the only game he didn’t, he finished with eight.

Durant will be relied upon to help on the glass as Deandre Ayton continues to deal with Jokić.

Nuggets vs Suns Game 6 Team Props

Suns: Under 114.5 Points (-110) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

In the two games that the Suns won at home, they scored more than 120 points. I expect the Nuggets to win Game 6 and continue to contain Durant and Booker.

It’s not likely that Booker shoots close to 80% from the field again, so look for a low-scoring effort from the Suns in Game 6.

Nuggets vs Suns Game 5 Props Preview

Kevin Durant easily cleared his 44.5 combo prop with 36 points and 11 rebounds in Game 4. Additionally, it was a down game for Nikola Jokić on the glass, as he only had four rebounds after eclipsing 12 boards in the previous three games.

Let’s dive into the best props for Game 5 between the Denver Nuggets and Phoenix Suns.

Nuggets vs Suns Game 5 Player Prop Odds

Use our NBA odds to locate the best ways to bet on playoff prop bets:

Nuggets vs Suns Game 5 Player Props

Jamal Murray: Over 25.5 Points (-115) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

The Nuggets are going to need Murray’s scoring to take a 3-2 lead as both Michael Porter Jr. and Aaron Gordon have been underwhelming in this series.

When Jokić is the leading scorer for the team, they have not had success. When the big man is more of a pass-first player, the Nuggets have a better chance of winning.

Murray has surpassed this point total in three of the four games so far in this series. He has also eclipsed this number in four of the five home playoff games this postseason, making this my NBA bet of the day.

Kevin Durant: Over 8.5 Rebounds (-120) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

Durant has grabbed at least nine rebounds in three out of the four games this series. He has been relied upon in the paint with Deandre Ayton occupied by Jokić. Ayton has had a tough series defending Jokić, and it has opened up rebounding opportunities for Durant.

Back Durant to grab at least nine rebounds in Game 5.

Nuggets vs Suns Game 5 Team Props

Under 55.5 First-Quarter Points (-110) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

I expect the Nuggets to come out in Game 5 and play at a very slow pace. The two games in Phoenix were played at a very high pace, and the Nuggets lost both those contests.

Game 2 in Denver was a very low-scoring affair in which the Nuggets were the better side. Denver plays at the sixth-slowest pace out of the remaining teams in the playoffs.

Nuggets vs Suns Game 4 Props Preview

The Suns’ stars had a huge performance in Game 3 which led to a high-scoring game. Phoenix’s team total went Over the total, but the two player props hit. Kevin Durant had 39 points and easily cleared his point total prop.

Let’s dive into the best props for Game 4 between the Nuggets and Suns.

Nuggets vs Suns Game 4 Player Prop Odds

Use our NBA odds to locate the best ways to bet on playoff prop bets:

Nuggets vs Suns Game 4 Player Props

Kevin Durant: Over 44.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-130) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

Durant had a monster showing in Game 3 with 39 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists. Without Chris Paul, he will have to have a similar game along with Devin Booker to keep Phoenix alive in the series.

Durant attempted 31 shots in Game 3 and could hit this combo on points alone if that shot volume continues in Game 4. He was tied for the team lead in rebounds and hasn’t had less than nine rebounds in a game yet in this series.

The Suns’ supporting cast has yet to show up, so both Durant and Booker will be relied upon to guide the team to a win. With this usage uptick, I love the Durant combo prop for this game, making this my NBA bet of the day.

Nikola Jokić: Over 14.5 Rebounds (-105) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

We might as well bet this for the third game in a row. Jokić had 17 rebounds in Game 3, and I don’t expect Deandre Ayton to keep him off the glass anytime soon.

The number has moved up from 13.5 to 14.5, but I still believe there is value in betting on this prop.

Nuggets vs Suns Game 4 Team Props

Suns: Under 114.5 Points (-120) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

This prop didn’t hit in Game 3, but I am going back to it here in Game 4. I don’t think the Suns can repeat their Game 3 performance with just Booker and Durant having stellar showings.

The Suns’ supporting crew has been a disappointment all series and has shown no signs of stepping up. The Nuggets will force the ball out of Booker and Durant’s hands and force someone else to beat them here in Game 4.

With that in mind, I expect a lower-scoring Game 4.

Nuggets vs Suns Game 3 Props Preview

After three days of rest, the Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets will play Game 3 in the desert on Friday night. Game 2 was a low-scoring affair, and a lot of Overs did not hit. But as we saw in Game 1, these teams are capable of putting up big numbers.

The game total is currently at 224, so the oddsmakers are expecting a relatively high-scoring game.

Let’s dive into the best props for Game 3 between the Nuggets and Suns.

Nuggets vs Suns Game 3 Player Prop Odds

Use our NBA odds to locate the best ways to bet on playoff prop bets:

Nuggets vs Suns Game 3 Player Props

Kevin Durant: Over 28.5 Points (-110) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

This is a must-win game for the Suns. They need their trade deadline acquisition, Durant, to play at an MVP level.

Durant was brought in to take this team to the NBA Finals and to take over games on the offensive end. He’s one of the best pure scorers in NBA history, and these are the games in which he shines.

Given the high stakes here, I would back Durant to hit the Over with my NBA bet of the day.

Nikola Jokić: Over 13.5 Rebounds (-130) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

We’re going to go back to this prop again, as Jokić easily surpassed this total in Game 2. He had 16 boards and had no problems boxing out Deandre Ayton in the paint.

The only way this prop does not hit is if Jokić gets in foul trouble and has to spend a lot of time on the bench, or if Denver wins in a blowout.

Nuggets vs Suns Game 3 Team Props

Suns: Under 114.5 Points (-120) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

Without Chris Paul, the Suns lack point guard depth behind Cameron Payne. The Nuggets might be able to steal this game away from the Suns, and I think it will be a low-scoring game.

The Suns defense is how they can win this game since they don’t have the three-point shooting to compete in a shootout, which is why I’m backing their Under here at 114.5 points.

Nuggets vs Suns Game 2 Props Preview

Jamal Murray easily cashed the Over on his points prop in Game 1, but Nikola Jokić came up just shy on his assists. The big man was not as much of a facilitator as I expected him to be.

The game total for Game 2 sits at 227, so the oddsmakers expect a relatively high-scoring game with plenty of player props to take advantage of.

Let’s dive into the best props for Game 2 between the Nuggets and Suns.

Nuggets vs Suns Game 2 Player Prop Odds

Use our NBA odds to locate the best ways to bet on playoff prop bets:

Nuggets vs Suns Game 2 Player Props

Jamal Murray: Over 24.5 Points (-125) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 2 Units

Whenever the Nuggets play at home in the postseason, I’m going to be on Murray’s points prop. He takes his performance to the next level in front of the home crowd, and we saw that in the series opener when he scored a game-high 34 points.

Murray has scored at least 34 points in each of the last three home playoff games and made at least five threes in each of those contests.

With these favorable numbers in mind, I’m backing Murray to drop at least 25 points on the Suns in Game 2 with my NBA bet of the day.

Nikola Jokić: Over 13.5 Rebounds (-125) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

Jokić absolutely dominated Deandre Ayton on the glass in Game 1, grabbing 19 rebounds, including eight on the offensive end and 14 in the first half alone.

The Suns also lack quality depth behind Ayton at the center position, so I expect Jokić to continue to feast in this series. He grabbed at least 15 in each of his regular-season meetings with the Suns, too.

Nuggets vs Suns Game 2 Team Props

Nuggets: Over 115.5 Points (-120) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

The Nuggets attempted 37 threes in Game 1, which goes in line with them being a high-volume three-point shooting team during the regular season as well. This is always a recipe for a high-scoring game, and the Suns had trouble closing out on the Nuggets’ shooters.

Assuming they can continue to knock down those looks from beyond the arc, they’ll have no problem continuing to reach the Over at this 115.5-point mark.

Nuggets vs Suns Game 1 Props Preview

Saturday’s series opener between the Nuggets and Suns is the only game scheduled for the day, so player props are a great way to have additional action on this contest.

The total for this Game 1 is set at 225.5 points, so the oddsmakers are expecting a high-scoring game. This should make for some excellent prop betting opportunities as well.

Let’s dive in on the best player and team props for this showdown between the Nuggets and Suns.

Nuggets vs Suns Game 1 Player Prop Odds

Use our NBA odds to locate the best ways to bet on playoff prop bets:

Nuggets vs Suns Game 1 Player Props

Jamal Murray: 25+ Points (+110) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

Jamal Murray has been great at home during these playoffs. He is averaging 33 points through three games in Denver, and I expect him to maintain the hot hand against the Suns.

Russell Westbrook and Norman Powell were able to score at will against Phoenix, so Murray should have no problem hitting this 25-plus hurdle against this Suns defense, making this my NBA pick of the day.

Nikola Jokić: 10+ Assists (+110) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

The Nuggets are a better team when Nikola Jokić is a facilitator and not the primary scorer. He had 12 assists in their last home game against the Timberwolves, so it would make sense for Denver to stick with the same game plan.

Back the big man to dish out at least 10 assists in this contest.

Nuggets vs Suns Game 1 Team Props

Nuggets: Over 113.5 Points (-120) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

The Nuggets are one of the best three-point shooting teams in the NBA, and the Suns will have trouble getting to the perimeter to close out on their shooters.

Foul trouble may also play a part in this game and series, so I like the Nuggets to put up a big total in Game 1.
