Knicks vs Heat Prop Bets

Last Updated: May 12, 2023

The Heat are a game away from the Eastern Conference Finals, but they’re also a loss away from a dire situation — heading to New York for a Game 7.

Let’s break down the best way to bet Game 6 in our Knicks vs Heat props.

Knicks vs Heat Game 6 Player Prop Odds

Use our NBA odds to locate the best ways to bet on playoff prop bets:

Knicks vs Heat Game 6 Player Props

Bam Adebayo: Under 8.5 Rebounds (-110) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

I’m going back to the well here and shorting Adebayo’s rebounding total. The fact of the matter is that the Knicks were second in the league this year when it came to rebounding, and Game 5 was proof that their lackluster performances on the glass in Games 3 and 4 were simply outliers.

Adebayo has now gone Under 8.5 boards three times in this series and has been in foul trouble on three separate occasions as well.

I think it’s a safe bet that Adebayo will draw plenty of whistles and struggle to compete with these excellent rebounders, making this my NBA bet of the day.

Quentin Grimes: Over 2.5 Three-Pointers (-105) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

Grimes dealt with an injury earlier in the series and was eased back into action, seeing 60 minutes across his first three games against the Heat. He then played 41 minutes in Game 4 and 48 in Game 5.

That’s proof enough that he’s a very valuable member of this team. He’s played excellent perimeter defense, and his three-point shooting has helped space the floor.

While he’s just 5-for-13 from three in the last two games, we know he will get up plenty of shots from deep in this game assuming he sees anywhere close to the same level of playing time — which he should.

Knicks vs Heat Game 6 Team Props

Knicks: Over 100.5 Points (-120) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

The Knicks have now cleared this total in all but one game this series, putting up 112 points in their Game 5 win. Their 119 offensive rating actually represented their second-best performance on that end, and it was largely due to some shooting variance kicking in at long last.

This was a better three-point shooting team all year than what we’ve seen in the playoffs, and an offense that’s been competent for the vast majority of the series.

Knicks vs Heat Game 5 Props Preview

The Miami Heat have taken control of this Eastern Conference Semifinals series, running out to a 3-1 series lead over the Knicks.

Can New York fight back at home and make this a series? Let’s break down some Knicks vs Heat props for Game 5.

Knicks vs Heat Game 5 Player Prop Odds

Use our NBA odds to locate the best ways to bet on playoff prop bets:

Knicks vs Heat Game 5 Player Props

Bam Adebayo: Under 8.5 Rebounds (-113) • FanDuel Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

Why is Adebayo’s rebound total this low after going for 25 rebounds in the past two games? Because he had eight in each of the first two games in this series when the Knicks’ rebounding numbers matched what they’ve been all year long.

I don’t expect Mitchell Robinson to get into deep foul trouble like has been happening, and with Julius Randle back, the Knicks should resume rebounding after a slight blip on the radar, making this my NBA bet of the day.

Kyle Lowry: Over 10.5 Points (+100) • FanDuel Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

Oddsmakers are giving us a gift once again in Game 5. Immanuel Quickley missed Game 4, and without his defense in the second unit, Lowry went for 15 points after going for 14 in Game 3.

I do believe the Knicks will come out a bit tidier on the defensive end, but without Quickley guarding Lowry, it will be that much easier for the veteran to score.

Knicks vs Heat Game 5 Team Props

Knicks: Over 106.5 Points (-115) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

The pace in this series continues to be slow, but it’s worth noting that we’ve now seen 93 possessions per side in three of the four games played. That’s a bit steeper than what we saw in the Knicks’ opening-round series against the Cavaliers.

While the offense has stalled a bit, we do know the Knicks shot about six points better from three during the regular season and featured a pretty strong attack on that end.

I think there’s a very good chance we finally see some positive regression to the mean, and with the slightly faster pace, this number should be within reach for New York.

Knicks vs Heat Game 4 Props Preview

The Knicks will be fighting for their lives in Miami on Monday, trying to avoid going down 3-1 in their Eastern Conference Semifinals series with the Heat. With both sides relatively healthy, this one should be worth watching.

Let’s get to some Knicks vs Heat prop bets for Game 4.

Knicks vs Heat Game 4 Player Prop Odds

Use our NBA odds to locate the best ways to bet on playoff prop bets:

Knicks vs Heat Game 4 Player Props

Kyle Lowry: Over 10.5 Points (-125) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

The Knicks will most likely be missing Immanuel Quickley for Game 4, which means Kyle Lowry will no longer have to deal with the young guard’s defense.

Considering Lowry has gone for 14 or more points twice already in this series, I like his chances of cashing this one with a slightly softer matchup.

Lowry is bound to be more heavily featured as a shooter now with Jimmy Butler back in the fold as well, making this my NBA bet of the day.

RJ Barrett: Over 20.5 Points (+105) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

Barrett may have come in under this point total in Game 3, but I expect him to be a focal point of the offense once more in Game 4. New York was gashed by Butler inside and will likely look to Barrett to play more than the 26 minutes he saw in order to provide some length.

With Quickley off the floor this season, Barrett has averaged 0.68 more points per 36 minutes, and that’s included more three-point attempts. This could be the night to bet on Barrett.

Knicks vs Heat Game 4 Team Props

Heat: Under 105.5 Points (-120) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

We are going right back to the well after cashing the Under on the Heat team total in Game 3.

The fact of the matter is, the Miami offense did look worse with Butler back in, considering it mustered up just 109 points per 100 possessions in the win.

I expect more of the same from New York’s dominant frontcourt, and its issue should remain on the offensive side.

Knicks vs Heat Game 3 Props Preview

The Knicks have lost homecourt advantage, but the series is still very much within their grasp. Heading into Miami with things tied 1-1, New York could be the healthier of the two sides here.

Let’s get into some Knicks vs Heat props for Game 3.

Knicks vs Heat Game 3 Player Prop Odds

Use our NBA odds to locate the best ways to bet on playoff prop bets:

Knicks vs Heat Game 3 Player Props

Josh Hart Over 10.5 Points (-105) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

I originally wanted to short Jimmy Butler in this spot, but backing Hart is going to have more value.

The thing is, Hart locked up Butler this year, limiting him to 27% shooting in 106 possessions to represent Butler’s most difficult matchup. He should remain on the floor, having played 40 minutes in three of the last four, and he’s now gone for double-digits in the scoring department in all but two games in the playoffs.

Hart’s shooting hasn’t even come around, and if it does, he should hit this easily. Lock this prop in with your NBA bet of the day.

Gabe Vincent Over 13.5 Points (-115) • BetMGM Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

Vincent is on fire, and I think there’s still plenty of value in betting his props. He shot a blistering 45% from three in four games against the Knicks during the regular season, scoring 12 points per game.

In the playoffs, he’s averaging 10 more minutes and eight more points.

Whether or not Butler plays, it’s clear Vincent is a key part of the Heat offense. I feel good about him keeping up with this pace.

Knicks vs Heat Game 3 Team Props

Heat Under 106.5 Points (-115) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

I realize the Heat hit this number in the first game of the series, but this is a little too high for my liking. These two teams have played at an incredibly slow pace, with 95 possessions in Game 1 and just 90 in Game 2.

New York’s defense has been strong for the entirety of the playoffs (with the exception of this past game), and even then, with so few possessions, Miami came in Under 106.5 points.

Should Butler return, too, Miami’s offense should probably see a bit of a dip with one man dominating the ball.

Knicks vs Heat Game 2 Props Preview

The Heat stole Game 1 from the Knicks on the road, but with some injuries on both sides, this Eastern Conference Semifinals series is still wide open.

This game is sure to be a good one, so let’s find the best way to bet it by looking at some Knicks vs Heat props.

Knicks vs Heat Game 2 Player Prop Odds

Use our NBA odds to locate the best ways to bet on playoff prop bets:

Knicks vs Heat Game 2 Player Props

Kevin Love: Under 16.5 Points + Rebounds (-125) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

The best way to bet this game is by shorting some players. The implied total is low for a reason — the Knicks have notched the second-best defensive rating in the postseason and have played, deliberately, at one of the slowest paces.

Love will feel the effects here. In three games against the Knicks this year, he averaged just 5.3 rebounds and shot 35% from the field.

Moreover, he is in an incredibly tough spot against Mitchell Robinson. New York was second in rebounding this season (and in the second half) and I don’t see how Love fits in here, making this my NBA bet of the day.

RJ Barrett: Over 3.5 Assists (+105) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

Now this is an Over that I can get behind. Barrett had seven assists in Game 1 of this series to make it two straight with four or more dimes, and I think that was by design.

The Knicks swingman is known for his ability to take the ball inside and score, but with Bam Adebayo lurking as the lone rim protector, his value has doubled. Barrett has been able to draw Adebayo away from the rim and hit his teammates underneath, hence the uptick in helpers last game.

With or without Randle, we’ll see Barrett a little more eager to pass the ball. After all, his shooting numbers have been abysmal.

Knicks vs Heat Game 2 Team Props

Knicks: Under 106.5 Points (-110) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

New York’s offense has been missing for most of this playoff run. The team has put up just 107.2 points per 100 possessions, which ranks No. 13 among all teams in the playoffs.

On the flip side, the Heat’s 113 defensive rating is stellar when you consider they had to defend Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks.

This offense looks lost, and even with a little more production (if Randle does indeed return) I find it hard to see 107 or more points from this side. The Knicks have played at the fourth-slowest pace in the playoffs to this point, and Game 1 came in at a very low 95.

This should be another low-scoring series.

Knicks vs Heat Game 1 Props Preview

The Miami Heat and New York Knicks were both underdogs in their opening-round series, yet they will meet each other in the Eastern Conference Semifinals after eliminating their first-round opponents in just five games.

This series is sure to be a good one, so let’s find the best way to bet Game 1 by looking at some Knicks vs Heat props.

Knicks vs Heat Game 1 Player Prop Odds

Use our NBA odds to locate the best ways to bet on playoff prop bets:

Knicks vs Heat Game 1 Player Props

Jimmy Butler: Under 30.5 Points (-120) • FanDuel Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

Butler’s in a tough spot here. Not only have the Knicks been playing at a painstakingly slow pace, they’ve also got a guy named Josh Hart who gave him fits this year. Butler shot just 27.3% against him in 106 possessions, representing the worst individual matchup for Butler and the best for Hart.

It’s not a one-dimensional handicap, but I do think with a strong defense and a slow pace, Butler will struggle to post the numbers we saw against Milwaukee, making this my NBA bet of the day.

Jalen Brunson: Over 24.5 Points (+100) • Caesars Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

Brunson dropped 25 points in two of his three games against the Heat this year and just averaged 24 points per game against Cleveland in the first round.

He’ll see a slightly worse defense here in Miami and a team that played at a slightly faster pace as well. Together, as well as an injury to Julius Randle, whose status is in the air, I think Brunson hits the Over here.

Knicks vs Heat Game 1 Team Props

Knicks: 2Q -1.5 (-102) • FanDuel Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

The Knicks’ bench ranked inside the top five in net rating this season, while Miami’s was 22nd. On top of this, New York’s bench ranked second in rebounding, while Miami’s was 19th.

That’s all gravy on top of the fact that the Knicks had one of the best second-quarter defenses by the numbers this year. This frame should be a rout.
