Grizzlies vs Timberwolves Player Props For Game 6 | Best Prop Bets

Last Updated: Apr 29, 2022

Ja Morant went ballistic in the fourth quarter of Game 5 and helped us cash the Over on his points prop. It was looking bleak, but the superstar guard came through for us. Jaren Jackson Jr., on the other hand, is incapable of staying out of foul trouble and failed to hit the Over on his threes.

We also finally missed on the Anthony Edwards threes prop, as he finished the game going 3-of-9 from beyond the arc. The process was right, though, and I have no fear of going right back to it.

Let’s dive in on my favorite player props for Game 6.

All NBA gameday odds are provided by Caesars Sportsbook and current as of Thursday, April 28, at 1 p.m. ET.

Grizzlies vs Timberwolves Game 6 Player Props

Ja Morant, Grizzlies: OVER 17.5 Rebounds + Assists (+105)

WAGER: 2 Units

I’m actually surprised this number isn’t higher, because Morant has now comfortably hit this in each of his last four games. During that stretch, he’s logged 22, 23, 20, and 19 rebounds + assists.

The last time we put down a two-unit wager was on Jarred Vanderbilt’s rebounds prop in Game 4, which comfortably hit as well. Morant is going to be extremely involved in this game and I think this is an incredibly mis-priced prop that we have to take advantage of.

Bank on Morant to stuff the box score in our NBA bet of the day.

Anthony Edwards, Timberwolves: OVER 3.5 Threes (+110)

WAGER: 1 Unit

With the season on the line, I don’t see Edwards reducing the number of his three-point attempts. He took nine three-pointers in Game 5 but only hit three, so the attempts are still there. I like that we’re getting plus-money on this prop again considering it has hit in four of the five games in this series.

Back the youngster to be cash from beyond the arc in Game 6.

Ja Morant, Grizzlies: To Record A Triple Double (+420)

WAGER: 1 Unit

This is a longshot bet, but I think there is good value here as well. He was only one assist shy of getting the triple-double in Game 5 and two rebounds short in Game 4. He had a triple-double in Game 3, and I think he gets it again in Game 6.

The assists will be the hardest leg to hit, but after his scoring performance in Game 5, Minnesota might force Morant to pass the ball more and have someone else on the Grizzlies beat them in Game 6.

Grizzlies vs Timberwolves Game 6 Game Props

2nd Quarter: UNDER 55.5 Total Points (-110)

WAGER: 1 Unit

The second quarter total has gone Under 55.5 in all five games of this series so far. After both teams get out to hot starts in the first quarter, they settle down and play a half-court game.

On top of the pace slowing down, the reserves for both teams enter the game and the offensive efficiency declines, leading the scoring to come to a halt.

Look for the pace to slow down in the second quarter of Game 6.

PREVIOUSLY: Grizzlies vs Timberwolves Game 5 Props

We cleaned up our props in Game 4, hitting all three of our player props. Additionally, thanks to Desmond Bane’s meaningless three at the end of the game, we cashed in on our Grizzlies second-half spread prop as well.

With another game ahead of us on Tuesday night, there are ample prop betting opportunities available.

Let’s examine my favorite props for Game 5.

All NBA gameday odds are provided by Caesars Sportsbook and current as of Monday, April 25, at 1 p.m. ET.

Grizzlies vs Timberwolves Game 5 Player Props

Ja Morant, Grizzlies: OVER 26.5 Points (-110)

WAGER: 1 Unit

Ja Morant hasn’t eclipsed this number since Game 1, so it has come down just a tad. However, I feel that this is going to be his game. He hasn’t hit even 20 points in the last two games, but in a must-win game at home, Morant is going to take over.

The key for the Grizzlies to win the game will be getting Karl-Anthony Towns into foul trouble, and that means that Morant will attack the rim forcing Towns into contact. Morant is one of the best finishers at the rim in the NBA, and he’ll be driving into the lane all game long.

Back one of the best guards in the NBA to put on a scoring spectacle in Game 5 with your NBA bet of the day.

Anthony Edwards, Timberwolves: OVER 3.5 Threes (-115)

WAGER: 1 Unit

The books have finally caught up, and we no longer get plus odds on this prop. That doesn’t mean we aren’t going to play it, though.

This has now hit in all four games this series, and I see no reason why Anthony Edwards will stop shooting threes now. He has attempted 38 three-point field goals in the series and has made 16, which is 42% from beyond the arc.

Back Edwards to be money from deep yet again in Game 5.

Jaren Jackson Jr., Grizzlies: OVER 1.5 Threes (+115)

WAGER: 1 Unit

Jaren Jackson Jr. has only hit this Over once in the entire series, and that was in Game 2 when he went 4-for-6 from beyond the arc. Towns only played 28 minutes in Game 2 as he was plagued with foul trouble, and if that happens again, Jackson Jr. will be open on the perimeter for some great looks.

He has attempted at least three shots from beyond the arc in each game of the series, and he attempted 12 threes in the two games at home as well. With Game 5 returning to Memphis, look for Jackson Jr. to fire away from deep.

Grizzlies vs Timberwolves Game 5 Game Props

Grizzlies Cover -1.5 3rd Quarter Spread (-110)

WAGER: 1 Unit

I think the Grizzlies are going to win this game in blowout fashion, and that will mean a strong performance coming out of halftime. The third quarter is when Memphis will begin to pull away.

PREVIOUSLY: Grizzlies vs Timberwolves Game 4 Props

We went 2-2 with our props in Game 3. Foul trouble kept Karl-Anthony Towns from reaching his rebounds prop, and Ja Morant did not have to put up a big scoring game to win Game 3.

Our best prop for the game hit with Anthony Edwards hitting his fourth three-pointer late in the final frame.

Let’s examine my favorite props for Game 4.

All NBA gameday odds are provided by Caesars Sportsbook and current as of Friday, April 22, at 1 p.m. ET.

Grizzlies vs Timberwolves Game 4 Player Props

Jarred Vanderbilt, Timberwolves: OVER 7.5 Rebounds (-115)

WAGER: 2 Units

I absolutely love this prop. Vanderbilt played 32 minutes in Game 3 because the Grizzlies decided to deploy a smaller lineup, leaving Steven Adams on the bench for the entire game. He also got some extra playing time as a result of the foul trouble to Towns.

I don’t trust Towns to stay out of foul trouble, so Vanderbilt will likely play over 30 minutes in Game 4 and will easily hit this over.

He had 13 rebounds in Game 3 and had 6 in Game 1 when he only played 19 minutes. Confidently take this Over in Game 4 as your NBA bet of the day.

Anthony Edwards, Timberwolves: OVER 3.5 Threes (+100)

WAGER: 1 Unit

I’m going right back to this bet. I am surprised we are still getting plus odds on this prop after it has hit in three consecutive games. After attempting 10+ threes in the first two games of the series, Edwards attempted another nine in Game 4. Once again, we only need him to hit 40% or 50% of his threes and we hit this bet again.

In a must-win Game 4 for the Timberwolves, Edwards will be making it rain from three in this contest.

Ja Morant, Grizzlies: OVER 7.5 Rebounds (+115)

WAGER: 1 Unit

It feels wrong to bet on this game and not include a Morant prop, so we’re going to attack his boards in this contest. He had 10 rebounds in Game 3 and had nine in Game 2. I think he will be attacking the rim on both sides of the ball in Game 4.

With the smaller lineup the Grizzlies are using, Morant was forced to help out on the defensive glass, and I expect the same in Game 4.

Grizzlies vs Timberwolves Game 4 Game Props

Memphis Covers -1.5 2H Spread (Inc. OT) (-115)

WAGER: 1 Unit

Similar to Game 3, I think the Grizzlies pull away in the second half and win this game. Back Memphis to finish strong in Game 4 and take a commanding 3-1 lead in the series before returning home to close it out.

The blowout in Game 2 heavily impacted the player props that I liked from that contest. D’Angelo Russell finished with just four assists after playing 28 minutes due to an unfavorable game script.

Ja Morant briefly left the game because of an injury before returning in the fourth quarter but only played a total of 30 minutes, so he came just under on his points + assists prop as well.

I expect a much closer contest in Game 3, so let’s take a look at my favorite props.

All NBA gameday odds are provided by Caesars Sportsbook and current as of Wednesday, April 20, at 5 p.m. ET.

Grizzlies vs Timberwolves Game 3 Player Props

Anthony Edwards, Timberwolves: OVER 3.5 Three-Pointers (+115)

WAGER: 1 Unit

Anthony Edwards attempted 11 threes in Game 1 and followed that up with 10 more in Game 2. He made four threes in each game, so I’m surprised we get plus money on this prop for Game 3. I expect Edwards to attempt at least 8-10 threes in this game, and we only need him to make 50% of his attempts.

The Timberwolves will want to put on a good show at home, and Edwards will look to lead the offense like he did in Game 1.

Back the second-year star to be money from beyond the arc in Game 3 for your NBA bet of the day.

Ja Morant, Grizzlies: OVER 37.5 Points + Assists (-115)

WAGER: 1 Unit

I’m going right back to this bet as well. If it wasn’t for the game script, this likely would’ve hit as it did in Game 1. Morant should score 30 points in this contest, and he’s eclipsed seven assists in both games of this series so far. He was an expert facilitator in Game 2, logging 10 assists and finding cutting teammates for some easy layups.

Back the best player in this series to control the offense for Memphis and have a hand in almost every possession either as a passer or scorer.

Ja Morant OVER 25.5 Points & 6.5 Assists, Karl-Anthony Towns OVER 9.5 Rebounds (+180)

WAGER: 1 Unit

This is an intriguing prop special since all three of these props SHOULD hit. Morant is averaging 9 assists per game in this series, and Karl-Anthony Towns is averaging 12 rebounds. I have no doubt Morant will score more than 25, with the Grizzlies will be looking to regain home-court advantage.

As long as Morant is able to get to the free throw line and Towns stays out of foul trouble, this prop parlay special will hit with ease.

Grizzlies vs Timberwolves Game 3 Game Props

2nd Quarter Total UNDER 58.5 (-125)

WAGER: 1 Unit

Both teams love to get off to fast starts, with the Grizzlies and Timberwolves ranking first and second in the NBA in first quarter scoring. However, both settle down before halftime. This is when a lot of the reserves will also come into the game, so this looks like a solid value.

We went 1-2 in our Game 1 props, with D’Angelo Russell playing more facilitator than scorer finishing with only 10 points. Ja Morant hit his Over on assists, but was two dimes shy of recording a double-double.

Steven Adams did next to nothing in Game 1, and the Unders on all of his props are enticing for Game 2. Will Anthony Edwards have another stellar game offensively?

Let’s dive in on my favorite player props for Game 2 of this series.

All NBA gameday odds are provided by Caesars Sportsbook and current as of Monday, April 18, at 4 p.m. ET.

Grizzlies vs Timberwolves Game 2 Player Props

D’Angelo Russell, Ja Morant Each Over 6.5 Assists (+105)

WAGER: 1 Unit

Russell had nine assists in Game 1 and Morant finished with eight. This is great value for both guards to go over the 6.5 mark.

Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns had amazing games scoring and are not shy about shooting the basketball. This is an advantage for Russell, who will play in a pass-first role in Game 2 as well. As long as the young stars on the Timberwolves don’t get in foul trouble, Russell will have no problem hitting this assist mark again.

During the season, Russell averaged 7.1 assists per game and Morant averaged 6.7 assists per game. Morant would’ve had more than eight in the first game of this series if Jaren Jackson Jr. was able to knock down some of the open shots he had on Saturday.

The supporting cast for the Grizzlies has to show up in Game 2, and that will lead to more assists for Morant in our NBA bet of the day.

Ja Morant, Grizzlies: OVER 37.5 Points + Assists (-115)

WAGER: 1 Unit

Morant had 40 points + assists in Game 1, and with a high game total of 241, he will have to score big again to keep Memphis in this game. I definitely think he scores at least 30 points, which means we only need eight assists to hit this bet.

His assists prop is at 7.5 and the Over is (-130), so it looks like Vegas likes Morant to hit the mark in this game.

He is the leader on offense and will play a role in almost every Memphis scoring possession. I like this number in the 40s, so 37.5 is a perfect number to get in on.

Jaren Jackson Jr., Grizzlies: Over 2.5 Blocks (-110)

WAGER: 1 Unit

Jackson Jr. led the NBA during the regular season with 2.3 blocks per game. In Game 1, he had an astounding seven blocks and was a menace around the rim.

I’m surprised this number isn’t higher after his Game 1 performance, so let’s take advantage of the lower-priced prop and watch Jackson Jr. dominate his blocks total once again.

Grizzlies vs Timberwolves Game 2 Game Props

Grizzlies Cover -1.5 4Q Spread (+100)

WAGER: 1 Unit

We saw the Timberwolves pull away late in the fourth quarter of Game 1, but Tuesday night will be all Memphis. This is a must-win game for the Grizzlies, and they will dominate the final frame on their way to a Game 2 victory.

Trust the Memphis defense to play with a different intensity down the stretch in Game 2 and cover the 1.5-point spread.

The Memphis Grizzlies and Minnesota Timberwolves face off in the first round of the NBA Playoffs on Saturday, April 16, at 3:30 p.m. ET in Memphis. Both teams will want to get off to a strong start and take a 1-0 lead in the series.

This series features some of the best young stars in the NBA, with the likes of Ja Morant, Karl-Anthony Towns, Anthony Edwards, Jaren Jackson Jr., and D’Angelo Russell. With all of the talent, there are many intriguing props we can target in this game.

Let’s explore some of the best player props for Game 1 of this series.

All NBA gameday odds are provided by Caesars Sportsbook and current as of Friday, April 15, at 3 p.m. ET.

Grizzlies vs Timberwolves Game 1 Player Props

D’Angelo Russell Over 18.5 points (-125)

WAGER: 1.5 Units

This prop bet is a no-brainer for me in this contest. In the 4 games, these two teams played each other in the regular season, Russell averaged a whopping 31 points per game. This number is way too low for Russell, especially for a playoff game.

Russell will have to be one of the primary scorers for the T-Wolves in this game for them to pull off a Game 1 upset. I also like his Over 2.5 three-pointers made at +100 over on Caesars Sportsbook.

If this line moves up to 19.5 and plus odds, I would absolutely pounce on that and play this prop up to 20.5 points as our NBA bet of the day.

Ja Morant Over 7.5 Assists (+100)

WAGER: 1 Unit

Morant recently returned from his lengthy absence and scored 21 points against the New Orleans Pelicans.

He still could be dealing with knee soreness, and if he’s not 100 percent healthy, he could be a decoy at times looking to feed his teammates, especially Desmond Bane on the wing, for some open threes while he attacks the rim.

Another reason I like this prop is because of Patrick Beverley. One of the best defenders in the game will be on Morant and could force him to pass the ball off instead of scoring. Morant will have to become a true facilitator in this game, so I love this Over, especially since we are getting it at plus odds.

Ja Morant Double Double (+240)

WAGER: 1 Unit

I already love the Over on Morant’s assists, and there is no way he doesn’t score at least 10 points in this contest. There is way too much value on Morant’s double-double for a player who could be the MVP of the league as early as next season.

He had 21 points and 9 assists in just 27 minutes of action in his last regular season game against the Pelicans last Saturday.

Grizzlies vs Timberwolves Game 1 Game Props

Under 2nd Half Total Points (-115)

WAGER: 1 Unit

These teams will get off to a quick start, but I can see it slowing down in the second half. The nerves will have dissipated, and both teams will look to win the game in the half-court.

I would also look to get the Under in the 4th quarter and attack a live Under if the teams come out scoring in the 3rd quarter after the halftime intermission.
