The Miami Heat went into Boston and beat the Celtics 111-103 to force a Game 7 in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Jimmy Butler had one of the best performances in an elimination game, putting up 47 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists. He took over for the Heat, shooting 55.2% from the field and hitting four from deep. After not scoring in Game 5, Kyle Lowry bounced back with a double-double with 18 points and 10 assists.

For the Celtics, Jayson Tatum led the team with 30 points and nine rebounds. Jaylen Brown had 20 points but was relatively quiet from deep, only hitting one three. Derrick White stepped up for Boston off the bench, scoring 22 points on 50% shooting.

The series returns to Miami for Game 7, with a chance to face the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals. Let’s take a look at our favorite prop bets for Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

All NBA gameday odds are provided by Caesars Sportsbook and are current as of Saturday, May 28, at 2 p.m. ET.

Heat vs Celtics Game 7 Player Props

Jimmy Butler, Heat: OVER 40.5 Points, Rebounds, & Assists (-120)

WAGER: 2 Units

Butler has struggled since leaving Game 3 with an injury, combining for 19 points, 13 rebounds, and five assists in Games 4 and 5. However, he silenced the doubters in Game 6 with a 47-point performance. And facing elimination, Butler will have a similar performance in Game 7.

In the postseason, Butler has gone Over this total seven times and has scored 40+ points four times. Butler is Miami’s No. 1 option on offense and can do it all for the team.

After having a mid-series hiccup, Butler is back on track for the Heat and will do whatever it takes to make sure his team makes it back to the NBA Finals for our NBA bet of the day.

Jayson Tatum, Celtics: OVER 28.5 Points (-120)

WAGER: 1 Unit

Opposite of Butler, Tatum takes over the No. 1 role for the Celtics. The young star has scored 29 or more points 10 times this postseason, with three of those times coming this series.

If the Celtics struggle to score in a game, Tatum is most likely the only one doing well. And when they’re firing on all cylinders, Tatum is leading the pack. He’ll take over in Game 7, as Boston needs him to have a big performance if they want to win.

Heat vs Celtics Game 7 Game Props

Heat OVER 97.5 Total Points (-120)

WAGER: 1 Unit

Defense was supposed to be on display in this series, with the Under being a lock in every game. However, outside of Games 4 and 5, the scoring has been front and center.

The Heat got back to their scoring ways in Game 6, putting up 111 points on the road. They’ve gone Under this total only four times this postseason. With a trip to the NBA Finals on the line, the Heat will come out firing at home.

Double Result: Miami Heat/Miami Heat (+200)

WAGER: 1 Unit

The Heat return to Miami for Game 7, and the home crowd will be loud as they look to return to the NBA Finals for the second time in three years. And having the momentum from Game 6, they’ll be on fire right out the gate.

Game 7 will be similar to how Game 6 was, but Miami will stay in control throughout the contest. The Celtics had the backing of the home crowd in Game 6 to give them the energy to come back in the game. The energy now shifts to Miami, and once they take the lead, they’ll keep it for the rest of the game.

PREVIOUSLY: Heat vs Celtics Game 6 Props

The trend of blowouts continued in Game 5, with the Boston Celtics beating the Heat in Miami 93-80 to take a 3-2 series lead in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Jaylen Brown led all scorers with 25 points and went 5-for-9 from deep. Jayson Tatum flirted with a triple-double with 22 points, 12 rebounds, and nine assists, while Al Horford had 16 points and seven rebounds.

Miami struggled to score in Game 5, shooting 31.9% from the field and just 15.6% from deep. Bam Adebayo led the Heat with a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Jimmy Butler continued his scoring woes, going 4-for-18 from the field and logging just 13 points.

The series heads to Boston for Game 6, where the Celtics will have a chance to punch their ticket to the NBA Finals. Let’s take a look at our favorite prop bets for Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

All NBA gameday odds are provided by Caesars Sportsbook and are current as of Thursday, May 26, at 4 p.m. ET.

Heat vs Celtics Game 6 Player Props

Bam Adebayo, Heat: OVER 28.5 Points, Rebounds, & Assists (-115)

WAGER: 1 Unit

After struggling in the early part of this series, Adebayo has taken over in Games 3 and 5 and will continue that trend in Game 6. Adebayo has gone Over this total seven times during the playoffs, as he’s a triple threat. He may be a big man, but he’s no stranger to handling the ball.

If Miami wants to force a Game 7, they’ll need to get Adebayo involved as much as possible. Butler is struggling to score lately, while Adebayo is shooting 60.1% from the field this postseason.

Adebayo can drive and score, crash the glass, and play the role of a facilitator, making this our NBA bet of the day.

Jayson Tatum, Celtics: OVER 6.5 Rebounds (+105)

WAGER: 1 Unit

Coming off of a double-double performance, this is a good bet to take with plus-odds. Tatum has gotten seven or more rebounds five times this postseason, including five games with six rebounds.

The Celtics have the size advantage over the Heat but continue to get out-rebounded in this series. The Heat like to smack the ball away from the paint to their perimeter guards on the offensive end. Tatum has the size on the defensive end to pull down boards and the quickness to intercept the tip-backs.

Heat vs Celtics Game 6 Game Props

Celtics UNDER 105.5 Total Points (-115)

WAGER: 1 Unit

If the past few games are any indication of how this series will go, we can expect Game 6 to be another low-scoring matchup. The game total has gone Under twice in a row.

Looking for more ways to bet this NBA Playoffs series?

Boston has scored Under 105.5 points in the last three games (103, 102, and 93). Both teams displayed excellent defense in the first half of Game 5, as the Heat held the Celtics to 37 points. Game 6 will be the same, except the high-level defense will continue throughout the game.

Heat Cover +3 1Q Spread (-115)

WAGER: 1 Unit

The first quarters of this series have been all over the place. In Games 1, 2, and 4, Boston led by three points, 11 points, and 18 points. In Games 3 and 5, Miami led by 11 points and two points.

However, with the series on the line, Miami will come out firing in Game 6. If they fall behind early by a large margin, the game will essentially be over, as Boston will have the momentum and home crowd behind them. The Heat must keep it close in the first quarter if they want a chance to win this game, and I think they will.

PREVIOUSLY: Heat vs Celtics Game 5 Props

After taking Game 3 in Boston, the Miami Heat came out flat in Game 4, losing to the Celtics 102-82.

Jayson Tatum had a big game for the Celtics with 31 points, eight rebounds, and five assists while converting 14-of-16 free throw tries. Jaylen Brown had 12 points and struggled from the field, shooting 25% overall and 16.7% from three-point range.

This was one of the worst performances for the Heat this postseason, specifically the starting lineup. The starters combined for 18 points on 19.4% shooting from the field. All five starters sat the entire fourth quarter, as this game was essentially over in the first quarter.

The series heads back to Miami for Game 5, where the Heat will look to turn things around. So let’s take a look at our favorite prop bets for Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

All NBA gameday odds are provided by Caesars Sportsbook and are current as of Tuesday, May 24, at 6 p.m. ET.

Heat vs Celtics Game 5 Player Props

Jimmy Butler, Heat: OVER 35.5 Points, Rebounds, & Assists (-120)

WAGER: 1 Unit

This total was hovering around 40 a couple of games ago, but two straight games of poor performances will lower it. Granted, Jimmy Butler got hurt in Game 3, but he still had a poor performance in Game 4, going 3-for-14 from the field.

Butler has hit this Over 10 times this postseason, including in the first two games against the Celtics. Toss Game 3 up to injury and Game 4 up to a fluke. The Heat are back on their home court, where Butler will thrive.

Knowing Butler’s history as a competitor, he’s not going to have the same bad performance in back-to-back games, so take the Over as our NBA bet of the day.

Jayson Tatum, Celtics: OVER 28.5 Points (-105)

WAGER: 1 Unit

Game 3 was the second time this postseason in which Tatum scored 10 points, but just like the first time, he followed it up with a 30-point performance in Game 4.

Tatum continues to show he’s one of the best players left in the playoffs. He’s hit Over 28.5 points nine times in the postseason, including twice against the Heat. If the Celtics have any shot of winning this series, they need Tatum to score around 30 points each game.

Heat vs Celtics Game 5 Game Props

OVER 98.5 1H Points (-110)

WAGER: 1 Unit

The first half Over for Games 1 and 2 were locks, while Game 3 was more of a sweat as it hit last second. However, our luck ran out in Game 4, as both teams combined for 90 points. Because of that, the first half Over has now dropped from 107 to 98.5, which is something we like to see.

Looking for more ways to bet this NBA Playoffs series?

The trend in this series has been both teams have been blowing each other out in a single quarter — the Heat in Games 1 and 3 and the Celtics in Games 2 and 4. However, for Game 5, we won’t see a blowout, as it’ll be a much closer contest.

With the game being closer than it’s been all series, both teams will be going back and forth with the scoring. That means we should get a first half with at least 100 points scored.

Double Result: Miami Heat/Miami Heat (+185)

WAGER: 1 Unit

Miami has only led in three quarters of this series while Boston has led in nine quarters, with both teams settling for a tie in four quarters. This bet has only hit once this series (Game 3), but that will change in Game 5.

Think of Game 5 as the start of a new series, a best-of-three series. Miami was hobbled in Game 4 and will come out in Game 5 much more healthy. The Heat are 7-1 on their home court in the postseason, and with the performance they had in Game 4, they’ll look to come out strong in Game 5.

PREVIOUSLY: Heat vs Celtics Game 4 Props

The Miami Heat came out firing in Game 3 after getting blown out in Game 2, winning in Boston 109-103. Miami now leads the Eastern Conference Finals 2-1.

With Jimmy Butler leaving at the end of the first half with an injury, Bam Adebayo stepped up in place of the All-Star. He scored 31 points and had 10 rebounds for the double-double, along with six assists and four steals.

The Heat defense was stifling, recording a franchise record 19 steals in the win. Jayson Tatum only had 10 points, shooting 21.4% from the field. However, Jaylen Brown put on a clinic, scoring a playoff career-high 40 points on 70% shooting from the field.

Boston will look to even the series up before going to Miami for Game 5. Let’s take a look at our favorite prop bets for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

All NBA gameday odds are provided by Caesars Sportsbook and are current as of Sunday, May 22, at 7 p.m. ET.

Heat vs Celtics Game 4 Player Props

Jaylen Brown, Celtics: OVER 35.5 Points, Rebounds, & Assists (-115)

WAGER: 1 Unit

Brown has been one of the top performers in the NBA this postseason. In 14 games, Brown is averaging 23.7 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 3.5 assists. Against the Heat this postseason, he’s averaging 29.3 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 2.3 assists while shooting 55.6% from the field and 45.8% from deep.

With the Over set at 35.5, Brown has hit that mark five times, including twice against the Heat. Miami’s main focus on defense is stopping Tatum, which leaves Brown open to take over.

In Game 4, Brown will continue to have a great series against the Heat, so take the Over as our NBA bet of the day.

Bam Adebayo, Heat: Record a Double-Double (+155)

WAGER: 1 Unit

After struggling for four consecutive games on the offensive end, Adebayo finally woke up, scoring 31 points and pulling down 10 rebounds while shooting an efficient 68.2% from the field.

Adebayo has four double-doubles this postseason, including two games where he grabbed nine rebounds. During the regular season, Adebayo had 27 double-doubles.

If Game 3 is any indication, Adebayo has turned it around. Even before Butler exited the game, Adebayo was playing extremely well on both ends of the court. He’ll look to carry this momentum into Game 4.

Heat vs Celtics Game 4 Game Props

OVER 107 1H Points (-110)

WAGER: 1 Unit

While the first half Over was a lock-in Games 1 and 2, the Game 3 Over was a sweat. Luckily, Tatum hit a three with 1.4 seconds to get us over the hump with 109 points.

Looking for more ways to bet this NBA Playoffs series?

The first half of Game 3 was a blowout in favor of the Heat, as they led by 26 points at one point, but the Celtics came back and cut it to 15. Don’t expect Game 4 to be a blowout on either side, but that’s good for the Over, as both teams will keep the scoring high.

Race to 20 Points: Miami Heat (+140)

WAGER: 2 Units

Even though Miami has reached 20 points before Boston in two straight games, Caesars has them at plus-odds to reach 20 first. This is a lock to hit, even with the Heat playing on the road.

The Heat have proven they can be explosive and go on a run at any moment, doing so to start Games 2 and 3 and at the start of the second half of Game 1. Playing in a hostile environment in Boston, the Heat will want to get out to a hot start to put themselves in a position to win the game.

PREVIOUSLY: Heat vs Celtics Game 3 Props

After a convincing Game 1 win by the Miami Heat, the Boston Celtics bounced back in Game 2 in a major way, winning 127-102. With the next two games in Boston, the Celtics have the Heat right where they want them.

It felt like Jimmy Butler was doing everything himself for the Heat, scoring 29 points on 61.1% shooting. The rest of the starters only combined for 31 points, and without Butler, Miami shot 39.7% from the field.

The Celtics got plenty of production from their starters, as Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown combined for 51 points and nine three-pointers. A returning Marcus Smart also made a huge impact, putting up nearly a triple-double with 24 points, 12 assists, and nine rebounds.

The Celtics carry all the momentum as the series heads to Boston. So let’s take a look at our favorite prop bets for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

All NBA gameday odds are provided by Caesars Sportsbook and are current as of Friday, May 20, at 3 p.m. ET.

Heat vs Celtics Game 3 Player Props

Jimmy Butler, Heat: OVER 39.5 Points, Rebounds, & Assists (-115)

WAGER: 1 Unit

It’s clear that Butler hasn’t had much help on offense during the playoffs. There hasn’t been a consistent second option for the Heat, and unless that changes, Butler will continue his playoff domination.

Butler has gone Over the 39.5 mark seven times, including combining for 38 three times. He would’ve easily hit the Over in Game 2, but he sat for most of the fourth quarter with the game out of reach.

With Miami looking to be more competitive in Game 3, and Butler doing it all, take the Over as our NBA bet of the day.

Marcus Smart, Celtics: OVER 6.5 Assists (-105)

WAGER: 2 Units

After missing Game 1 against Miami, Smart made his presence known in Game 2, both on offense and defense. During the playoffs, he’s averaging 6.7 assists per game and has gone Over 6.5 assists five times, including logging three games with six assists.

Boston has been shooting well this series, and they’re hitting their shots from deep. So even if Miami limits Smart from scoring, he can still dish it out to guys like Tatum and Brown.

Smart played 40 minutes in an absolute blowout, meaning he’ll be on the court no matter what. That essentially makes this Over a lock.

Heat vs Celtics Game 3 Game Props

OVER 107.5 1H Points (-110)

WAGER: 1 Unit

Games 1 and 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals have been high-scoring, so Game 3 looks to continue that trend. In Game 1, both teams combined for 116 first-half points, and in Game 2, both sides finished the first half with 115 points.

Looking for more ways to bet this NBA Playoffs series?

Boston has gotten better in the first half with each game, while Miami has regressed. Both sides sport good defenses, but the offensive firepower they both bring outweighs that.

Game 3 will be no different, but it should be more competitive this time around.

Heat OVER 100.5 Total Points (-120)

WAGER: 1 Unit

The Heat had an all-around poor performance in Game 2, but they still managed to score 102 points. Due to that, their total has lowered to 100.5 points, which is good news for us.

Miami has scored 101 or more points in 10 games throughout the playoffs, including having two games with 99 points. Butler is guaranteed to score 25+ points, and while the roster has been streaky, any one player can blow up and have a monster game.

Scoring 101 points is an easy task that Miami will complete.

PREVIOUSLY: Heat vs Celtics Game 2 Props

The NBA Conference Finals kicked off with the Eastern Conference, as the Miami Heat beat the Boston Celtics 118-107. The Celtics will look to even the series as they head home to Boston for Games 3 and 4, while the Heat will look to go up 2-0 in Game 2.

Game 1 was a battle throughout, though Jimmy Butler continued his playoff dominance for Miami, scoring 41 points on 63.2% shooting. It marked the third time he’s scored over 40 points in the playoffs this year.

Boston’s young duo, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, also had big performances. Tatum scored 29 points but had seven turnovers, and Brown recorded a double-double with 24 points and 10 rebounds.

Game 2 looks to be just as exciting, so let’s take a look at our favorite prop bets for Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

All NBA gameday odds are provided by Caesars Sportsbook and are current as of Wednesday, May 18, at 5 p.m. ET.

Heat vs Celtics Game 2 Player Props

Jimmy Butler, Heat: OVER 39.5 Points, Rebounds, & Assists (-105)

WAGER: 2 Units

Butler has been a force to be reckoned with during the playoffs. There’s only been one game this postseason in which he’s scored under 20 points and has scored over 30 points in six of 11 games.

In 11 games, Butler has gone Over the 39.5 total seven times, including coming close two other times with 38 points, rebounds, and assists. He doesn’t need to be the main scorer for Miami to succeed, as he leads the team in assists during the postseason.

The Over at 39.5 is essentially a lock, considering Butler can hit it with points alone. With how hot he’s been this postseason, take the Over as our NBA bet of the day.

Jaylen Brown, Celtics: OVER 2.5 Threes (-145)

WAGER: 1 Unit

During the postseason, Brown has been one of the top shooters for Boston. He ranks third in three-point percentage (38.7%), third in three-point attempts (6.3), second in three-point makes (2.4), and outside of centers, he leads the team in field goal percentage (47.7%).

Brown has hit this Over five times during the postseason and had three games where’s hit two from deep. He has also had Over 2.5 threes made in three of his last four games.

With Brown’s attempts going up throughout the playoffs and him shooting the ball well, he’s bound to drain at least three to give us the Over.

Heat vs Celtics Game 2 Game Props

OVER 100.5 1H Total Points (-110)

WAGER: 1 Unit

If Game 1 is any indicator of how the series will go, it’ll be a high-scoring affair. Both sides combined for 116 points in the first half, completely clearing this Over.

Looking for more ways to bet this NBA Playoffs series?

The Heat and Celtics combined to hit the first half Over even when Miami wasn’t playing that well. So if the Heat come out of the gates firing as they did in the second half, and the Celtics do their part, this Over will hit.

Race to 20 Points: Miami Heat (-135)

WAGER: 1 Unit

The Heat had some rust entering Game 1, and it was clear when they missed their first six field goals and the Celtics jumped out to a 7-0 lead. And with the great start from Boston, they reached 20 points first.

That won’t be the case in Game 2. Miami will come in more fired up than they did Tuesday night. The Heat played from behind for the first half, and while they went on a 22-2 run in the third quarter, you can’t rely on that kind of run every game.

Look for the Heat to come out firing in Game 2.

PREVIOUSLY: Heat vs Celtics Game 2 Props

The Eastern Conference Finals is finally here, and the Miami Heat will take on the Boston Celtics in a 2020 ECF rematch in which the Heat won in six games.

This series will feature some of the most exciting young players in the NBA. At 24 and 25 years old, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are the top two players for the Celtics. Both have been playing extremely well this postseason and have proven themselves to be clutch with the game on the line.

On the other side, Jimmy Butler has been on a tear this postseason, taking complete control of the game when the Heat have needed him most. In addition, the Heat have their own young duo in Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro, with the latter winning the Sixth Man of the Year Award this season.

Let’s take a look at our favorite prop bets for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

All NBA gameday odds are provided by Caesars Sportsbook and are current as of Tuesday, May 17, at 10 a.m. ET.

Heat vs Celtics Game 1 Player Props

Jimmy Butler, Heat: OVER 24.5 Points (-105)

WAGER: 2 Units

Butler has been lights-out in the playoffs. After having a forgettable playoff performance last year, Butler returned to bubble form and cranked it up. He can do it all for the Heat, but he’s first and foremost a bucket-getter.

So far this the postseason, Butler has been held under 20 points once and has five games with over 30 points. Butler can drive to the hoop, pull up from mid-range, or drain it from deep.

If the Celtics try to limit him, Butler has no problem getting everyone else on the Heat going. And if everyone else gets going, that’s a problem for the Celtics. Take Butler’s Over as our NBA bet of the day.

Jayson Tatum, Celtics: UNDER 39.5 Points, Rebounds, & Assists (-130)

WAGER: 1 Unit

Given that Tatum is the No. 1 option in Boston, taking the Under on his points + rebounds + assists prop might not look smart, but hear me out. Tatum has hit this Over six times in the playoffs this year, but it happened only once when he scored under 30 points.

The Heat have a 104.6 defensive rating throughout the playoffs, which is the best among the remaining playoff teams. Tatum scored 10, 20, and 23 points in the three regular-season meetings.

Miami will look to lock Tatum down in Game 1, forcing other players on the Celtics to score. If Tatum doesn’t score 30, he won’t be hitting this Over.

Heat vs Celtics Game 1 Game Props

Heat OVER 102.5 Points (-120)

WAGER: 1 Unit

Both teams are strong defensively, but Miami has a deeper list of players that can score. You’re guaranteed a solid offensive output from at least two of these three players: Butler, Adebayo, and Herro. After those three, you never know who can go off for Miami.

Looking for more ways to bet this NBA Playoffs series?

Miami is an unselfish team and is excellent at moving the ball around. Even in the absence of Kyle Lowry, Gabe Vincent and Max Strus have stepped up for the Heat on offense. And led by Herro and Victor Oladipo, Miami’s bench can hold their own when it comes to scoring.

Double Result: Miami Heat/Miami Heat (+135)

WAGER: 1 Unit

In the eight wins this postseason for the Heat they have led at the half seven times. The only time they were down heading into halftime was against the Philadelphia 76ers, in which they were down by one point.

The Heat will put heavy pressure on defense right out the gate, and the Celtics will struggle to adjust initially. However, by the time they do adjust, Miami will already be in a groove and in the lead. As a result, the Heat will enter the half with the lead and ultimately win Game 1.
