The NBA’s best players always shine brightest in the postseason, and in a do-or-die situation like the Play-In Tournament, we can expect them to give it their all as they look to lead their respective teams to glory.
Today, we’ll be looking at our favorite player prop bets for the play-in matchup between the Brooklyn Nets and Cleveland Cavaliers, which features both rising and well-established stars in Darius Garland, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving, to name a few.
Additionally, we’ll hone in on some team props that could be worth your while.

Nets vs Cavaliers Player Props
Andre Drummond, Nets: To Record a Double-Double (+100)
WAGER: 1 Unit
The NBA has generally evolved beyond the need for guys like Andre Drummond, but the big-bodied bruiser has still been a productive piece for Brooklyn. Fortunately for him, the Nets will require his services against the Cavaliers.

With Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen out with a fractured finger, Drummond will be able to take up plenty of space in the paint. Between Drummond’s put-backs and rim-runs, plus his usual efforts on the glass, this prop feels like a lock to hit.

Caris LeVert, Cavaliers: Over 17.5 Points (-115)
WAGER: 1 Unit
Upon first glance, it looks like this bar might be set too high for Caris LeVert. After all, he’s only averaging 13.6 points per game since he was traded to the Cavaliers in February. However, there’s more than meets the eye here.

We know LeVert has the potential to reach this number consistently — he averaged 19.6 points per game at his previous stop in Indiana — but he also spent the first four seasons of his career in Brooklyn.
I’m not typically buying into the “revenge game" narrative, but LeVert will be going up against the team that traded him in a game where the winner punches its ticket to the playoffs. So he’ll have all the motivation he needs to go out and drop a 20-piece on the Nets.
Kyrie Irving, Nets: Over 39.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-120)
WAGER: 1 Unit
Like Drummond, I expect Kyrie Irving to feast in the paint in this matchup. The seven-time All-Star has long been one of the best finishers in the game, and against a depleted frontcourt, he should have no issue scoring inside.
Instead of just taking the Over on Irving’s points, I am also including his rebounds and assists. He’s averaging a combined 10.2 per game, but he’s prone to outbursts in each category. If Irving can record roughly 30 points, he should do enough elsewhere to push this in our favor.
Nets vs Cavaliers Game Props
Nets Cover -3.5 Second Half Spread (-120)
WAGER: 1 Unit
The Nets belong in the playoffs. They’re experienced, supremely talented, and possess one of the most potent two-man combos in the league. Cleveland will keep things close in the first half, but I fully expect Brooklyn to put the Cavs away after halftime.
