Celtics vs Bucks Props for Game 7 | Best Player Prop Bets & NBA Playoffs Odds

Last Updated: May 14, 2022

The two best words in sports: Game 7. This Boston Celtics vs Milwaukee Bucks series has come down to Game 7 — as we predicted before the series tipped off — and we have seen many incredible individual performances.

In Game 6, both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jayson Tatum exploded for over 40 points. In a “win or go home” game here, expect both players to show up and put on great performances.

There are many terrific players in the Celtics vs Bucks series, which has made it so fun to bet on NBA player props. Sportsbooks have many different player props for you to wager on these player performances, giving you endless ways to play this Eastern Conference game.

All NBA gameday odds are provided by Caesars Sportsbook and are current as of Saturday, May 14, at 12 p.m. ET.

Celtics vs Bucks Game 7 Player Props

Jrue Holiday, Bucks: OVER 1.5 Steals (-150)

WAGER: 1 Unit

After failing to grab multiple steals in Game 5, Jrue Holiday got right back to it last time out, finishing with three in the game. Again, he did this in a game where Boston turned it over only eight times as a team. Now, Holiday is averaging 2.5 steals per game in this series.

Holiday has finished the game with multiple steals in nine of his 10 games against the Celtics this season. While we would like odds that pay out a bit more, this is still a bet worth taking, making this our NBA bet of the day.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bucks: OVER 35.5 Points (-110)

WAGER: 1 Unit

Last time, we discussed how good Giannis Antetokounmpo has been in closeout games recently, averaging 41 points in the last three closeout games in the NBA Playoffs dating back to last season. While the Bucks didn’t win Game 6, the Celtics still don’t have an answer for Antetokounmpo.

We said it looked like Game 6 would be another 40-point game for him, and he didn’t disappoint. Antetokounmpo finished the game with 44 points, hitting 14-of-15 free throws. Giannis has now scored 40 or more points in three of his past four games. Look for this trend to continue in Game 7.

Jrue Holiday, Bucks: OVER 2.5 Blocks + Steals (-110)

WAGER: 1 Unit

This is a slightly tweaked prop from the one we’re betting above. It also comes with better odds. Instead of taking Over 1.5 steals, we will bet Over 2.5 combined steals and blocks.

As stated above, Holiday is already averaging 2.5 steals per game this series. He has finished with three steals in three of his past four games, so he has a great chance at hitting the Over on this prop with takeaways alone.

What makes it better is that he is blocking shots recently as well. Holiday finished last game with two block, and he has five blocks across the past four games. Look for him to swat at least one shot in Game 7.

Bucks vs Celtics Game 7 Game Props

Bucks Cover +5 Spread (-110)

WAGER: 1 Unit

In terms of wins and losses, the Milwaukee Bucks have been far better at home as opposed to on the road this season. However, the opposite is true when we look at their record against the spread in those situations.

The Bucks have gone 17-30 against the spread at home this year, compared to a 27-19 mark on the road.

Milwaukee has also covered in eight of their past 10 road games — three of which have come against the Celtics. While picking them to win yet another game in Boston is in the cards, taking the Bucks’ spread is a safer pick that still has nice odds.

PREVIOUSLY: Celtics vs Bucks Game 6 Props

The stars show up in crucial moments, and the stars of this Boston Celtics vs Milwaukee Bucks series certainly showed up in Game 5. Now, with the Celtics down 3-2 and the Bucks having the opportunity to close out the series on their home floor, we can expect the stars to show up once again for Game 6.

There are many terrific players in the Celtics vs Bucks series, which has made it so fun to bet on NBA player props. Sportsbooks have many different player props for you to wager on these player performances, giving you endless ways to play this Eastern Conference game.

All NBA gameday odds are provided by Caesars Sportsbook and are current as of Thursday, May 12, at 2 p.m. ET.

Celtics vs Bucks Game 6 Player Props

Jrue Holiday, Bucks: OVER 1.5 Steals (-145)

WAGER: 1 Unit

Game 5 was the first time during this Celtics vs Bucks series that Jrue Holiday didn’t record multiple steals. Despite this, he is still averaging 2.4 steals per game in this series.

Holiday has finished the game with multiple steals in eight of his nine games against the Celtics this season. So, while he is coming off a failed attempt in the steals department, we can treat it as an opportunity to get better odds from the sportsbook, making this our NBA bet of the day.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bucks: OVER 33.5 Points (-120)

WAGER: 1 Unit

The Celtics don’t have an answer for Giannis Antetokounmpo right now. He has scored 34 or more points in three straight games, with two of the performances going for at least 40. Game 6 is also a possible close-out game for the Bucks.

History tells us we will get the best out of Antetokounmpo in this situation.

The Greek Freak has averaged 41 points across the past three NBA Playoffs close-out games he has played in. It’s looking like another possible 40-point game for him here.

Marcus Smart, Celtics: UNDER 3.5 Total Rebounds (-130)

WAGER: 1 Unit

While Marcus Smart is known as a tough, hustling type of player, it has not led to rebounds in this series. He has played in four of the five games and Smart is averaging only 2.3 rebounds per contest. Game 5 was the only time he had topped 3.5 rebounds in the series.

Odds, trends, and logic all point to Smart going Under this prop once again. If Robert Williams healthy enough to play for the Celtics, it may lower Smart’s chances for rebounds more as well, since he’ll be in the paint.

Celtics vs Bucks Game 6 Game Props

Bucks Cover -0.5 1Q Spread (-105)

WAGER: 1 Unit

The Bucks have been terrific in the first quarter against the Celtics this season, and especially in the playoffs. In the nine total games between these two teams this year, Milwaukee has had the lead at the end of the opening frame in six of them — including in four of their five playoff meetings.

We’re sticking with another common trend here, and that means we’re backing the Bucks to come out strong once again. In a potential series-clinching game, they’re going to bring it all on their home floor against the Celtics.

PREVIOUSLY: Celtics vs Bucks Game 5 Props

One of the best parts of the NBA Playoffs is when an unlikely player becomes a star for their team, willing them to a win. That was the case for Al Horford in Game 4, as he finished with a playoffs career-high 30 points in the game.

There are many terrific players in the Celtics vs Bucks series, which has made it so fun to bet on NBA player props. Those who took the Over on Horford’s points last game would certainly agree.

Sportsbooks have many different player props for you to wager on these player performances, giving you endless ways to play this Eastern Conference game.

All NBA gameday odds are provided by Caesars Sportsbook and are current as of Tuesday, May 10, at 12 p.m. ET.

Celtics vs Bucks Game 5 Player Props

Brook Lopez, Bucks: OVER 6.5 Rebounds (+110)

WAGER: 1 Unit

The Brook Lopez rebounding prop has treated us very will this series, and the prop line is set exactly where it was in Game 4 when we bet it. While Lopez cut it close, it went on top grab seven rebounds, making us more money.

This means Lopez has grabbed seven or more rebounds in three of the four games this series, with the lone failed attempt resulting in six boards, and this was a result of a blowout Game 2 loss. He has averaged 8.3 rebounds per game during this series as well. Expect the trend to continue and make this your NBA bet of the day.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bucks: UNDER 0.5 Threes (+140)

WAGER: 1 Unit

We continue to get great odds on this prop, and it is hitting more often than not. Giannis Antetokounmpo has failed to hit a three-pointer in five of his past eight games. Against the Celtics this season, Giannis has shot 2-of-25 from downtown. This isn’t surprising, since they have a solid perimeter defense.

This season, the Celtics have allowed opponents to shoot 34% from downtown, which ranks third in the NBA. This perimeter defense gets even better at home, where they hold opponents to 33.3% beyond the arc.

Jrue Holiday, Bucks: OVER 1.5 Steals (-160)

WAGER: 1 Unit

Even with the Celtics protecting the ball well in Games 3 and 4, Jrue Holiday has had no issue going over 1.5 steals. Boston had 12 turnovers in Game 3 and seven turnovers in Game 4, while is great. Holiday totaled three steals in both games.

Regardless of if the Celtics continue to protect the ball or if they get a bit more sloppy with their turnovers, Holiday should continue to hit the Over on this prop. He’s averaged 2.8 steals per game this series, totaling two or more in all four games.

Celtics vs Bucks Game 5 Game Props

Bucks Cover +1.5 1Q Spread (-115)

WAGER: 1 Unit

The Bucks have been terrific in first quarters this season, and this series with the Celtics has been no exception. Including their regular-season matchups, Milwaukee would have covered this spread in six of their eight meetings thus far.

Bank on Milwaukee getting out to another early lead in the first quarter. Whether they hold onto that lead will be interesting to see, but they should look strong early on.

PREVIOUSLY: Celtics vs Bucks Game 4 Props

We are seeing a lot of low scores around the NBA lately. In turn, the lines for NBA player props are becoming more competitive with what we have seen. Some of these low totals are a result of injuries. Of course, we are also seeing good defense from many of the teams remaining.

This is true for the Celtics vs Bucks series. It has been a struggle to get shots to fall for most players. However, recognizing this fact could lead to some opportunities with betting on this game.

There are many ways to bet on this game, but due to the number of great players on both teams, a popular choice will be player prop bets. Sportsbooks have many different player props for you to wager on these player performances, giving you endless ways to play this Eastern Conference contest.

All NBA gameday odds are provided by Caesars Sportsbook and are current as of Sunday, May 8, at 12 p.m. ET.

Celtics vs Bucks Game 4 Player Props

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bucks: OVER 44.5 Total Points + Rebounds (-110)

WAGER: 1 Unit

Giannis Antetokounmpo could have totaled 50 points in Game 3 had he needed to stay in the game and play heavy minutes. Instead, the Bucks had a nice lead and he was able to rest, leading to him finishing the game with 42 points and 12 rebounds.

This season, Antetokounmpo has averaged nearly three more points at home compared to road games, averaging 31.1 points and 12.5 rebounds on his home floor.

With Khris Middleton out and the Celtics unable to stop him from scoring, expect to see another big game from Antetokounmpo in Game 4, making this our NBA bet of the day.

Brook Lopez, Bucks: OVER 6.5 Rebounds (+110)

WAGER: 1 Unit

The Brook Lopez rebounding prop has finally risen to a number where we have to think about it. Still, we like betting the Over for the Bucks’ big man.

Lopez is back up to full health and playing a bunch of minutes for the Bucks. His minutes are vital, since they don’t have much size. In other words, his minutes are more than safe.

Using his size, Lopez grabbed 10 rebounds in both Games 1 and 3. He finished with six boards in the blowout Game 2 loss. With this game expecting to be competitive, he should see plenty of minutes and go over his rebounding total once again.

Jrue Holiday, Bucks: OVER 1.5 Steals (-130)

WAGER: 1 Unit

The Celtics protected the ball well in Game 3, turning it over only 12 times. With desperation setting in, look for Boston to be a bit more aggressive in this game, leading to more turnovers.

Still, even with Boston not turning it over much in Game 3, Jrue Holiday still finished the game with three steals. Holiday has averaged 2.7 steals per game this series, totaling two or more in all three games. Look for the pattern to continue for the talented guard in Game 4.

Celtics vs Bucks Game 4 Game Props

1st Quarter Betting: Bucks (+100)

WAGER: 1 Unit

The Milwaukee Bucks are the best team in the NBA when it comes to first quarter scoring margin. That’s held true in this series as well — the Bucks led by three points at the end of the frame in Games 1 and 3.

With another game in front of their home crowd on Monday night, bank on them to dominate the opening frame once again.

PREVIOUSLY: Celtics vs Bucks Game 3 Props

Injuries continue to impact the NBA Playoffs, and this series between the Boston Celtics and the Milwaukee Bucks is no exception. Khris Middleton has been ruled out for the full series, while Marcus Smart was out for Game 2. Still, the Celtics managed to defend their home floor, evening the series at one game apiece.

Even with the injuries, there are many great players on display in this Eastern Conference series. We have seen many of them step up already, and changing venues could impact who steps up for Game 3.

There are many ways to bet on this game, but due to the number of great players on both teams, a popular choice will be player prop bets. Sportsbooks have many different player props for you to wager on these player performances, giving you endless ways to play this Eastern Conference game.

All NBA gameday odds are provided by Caesars Sportsbook and are current as of Friday, May 6, at 2 p.m. ET.

Celtics vs Bucks Game 3 Player Props

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bucks: UNDER 0.5 Threes (+100)

WAGER: 2 Units

Yes, Giannis Antetokounmpo managed to make a three-point attempt in Game 2, losing this prop for us. However, with the odds we have been getting on this prop, we are still at a profit on the Giannis three-point prop for the series, and we’re betting it again.

He is now 2-of-15 for his three-point attempts over the past six games. Against the Celtics this season, Giannis has converted on just one of his 15 attempts from beyond the arc.

A big reason for this is the Celtics’ elite perimeter defense. They hold opponents to 34.1% shooting beyond the arc this season, ranking fourth in the NBA.

On top of that, Antetokounmpo attempts one less shot from downtown in games the Bucks have won this season. So, with Milwaukee projected to win, we should see fewer three-point attempts from him, reducing his opportunities to convert from long range.

Look for Antetokounmpo to stay inside the arc and make this your NBA bet of the day.

Brook Lopez, Bucks: OVER 5.5 Rebounds (+110)

WAGER: 1 Unit

The line for the Brook Lopez rebounding total was one lower in Game 2, which we also bet over. Of course, he finished with six rebounds, and he did it during a game the Celtics were able to shoot 46.5% from downtown. With them likely shooting a bit worse in this game, there will be a greater opportunity for Lopez to grab rebounds.

Lopez has grabbed at least six rebounds in four straight games against the Celtics. He should be able to continue using his size to do so in Game 3.

Jrue Holiday, Bucks: OVER 4.5 Rebounds (-140)

WAGER: 1 Unit

The odds aren’t as profitable for this rebounding prop, but Jrue Holiday should be able to grab at least five rebounds. Again, the Celtics converted at an insane rate from downtown in Game 2, and they won’t be as successful in Game 3, leading to more rebounds. Holiday grabbed only four boards last game, but we shouldn’t worry about that happening again.

Even with the four rebounds last game, Holiday has averaged 6.4 rebounds per game against the Celtics this season. That average also includes an outlier game this season where Holiday had zero rebounds.

He has grabbed five or more rebounds in five of his seven games during this postseason run, averaging 5.4 rebounds per game overall.

Celtics vs Bucks Game 3 Game Props

Celtics OVER 105.5 Points (-110)

WAGER: 1 Unit

Regardless of if the Celtics win or lose Game 3, we should expect to see more points scored in this game. The Celtics have scored over 105.5 points in five of their six games against the Bucks this season, and the pattern should continue in Game 3.

The Bucks’ perimeter defense has been suspect for a few years, and they proved to be the case last game once again. Milwaukee allows 110.3 points per game when they are at home, and Boston averages 112.7 points on the road.

PREVIOUSLY: Celtics vs Bucks Game 2 Props

While Game 1 of the Milwaukee Bucks vs Boston Celtics series resulted in a low point total, it still treated us well with the player props we had placed. We will look to run it back with similar success in Game 2.

After a lackluster performance in Game 1, look for the stars of Boston to look a bit sharper in front of their home crowd. On Milwaukee’s side, if they are forced to be more aggressive on offense and chasing points, we could see big things from them as well.

There are many ways to bet on this game, but due to the number of great players on both teams, a popular choice will be player prop bets. Sportsbooks have many different player props for you to wager on these player performances, giving you endless ways to play this Eastern Conference game.

All NBA gameday odds are provided by Caesars Sportsbook and are current as of Monday, May 2, at 12 p.m. ET.

Celtics vs Bucks Game 2 Player Props

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bucks: UNDER 0.5 Threes (+120)

WAGER: 2 Units

This was our favorite player prop in Game 1, and it obviously hit. While the odds are a little less lucrative for Game 2, we still love these odds.

The Celtics have the fifth-best perimeter defense in the NBA, holding opponents to 34.2% shooting beyond the arc. While Giannis Antetokounmpo had success scoring against Boston this season, he has not made a single three-point attempt across four games. He has also been held without a three-point make in four of his past five games.

Brook Lopez, Bucks: OVER 4.5 Rebounds (-140)

WAGER: 2 Units

We’re getting the opportunity to bet that a seven-footer grabs five rebounds. How?

Brook Lopez is back to playing his full helping of minutes. He saw 28 minutes in Game 1, grabbing 10 rebounds in the game. Yes, twice the amount he needs for us to cash this bet.

He has grabbed five or more rebounds in five of his six games during the NBA Playoffs thus far.

Jrue Holiday, Bucks: OVER 4.5 Total Rebounds (-135)

WAGER: 1 Unit

Again, this is the same prop that we bet in Game 1 with success, and there’s no reason for us to get off of it yet. Jrue Holiday isn’t a premier rebounder from the guard position, but he doesn’t need to be with it set this low.

Entering this series, Holiday averaged 4.5 rebounds per game this season and 4.8 rebounds in his four regular season games against Boston.

He finished Game 1 with nine rebounds. Holiday will find himself guarding either Marcus Smart or Jaylen Brown in this series, and both of them are more than willing to take the ball inside, giving Holiday more opportunities for rebounds.

He has now grabbed five or more rebounds in five of his six games this postseason, and there’s no reason to believe the trend stops here.

Celtics vs Bucks Game 2 Game Props

Celtics: Cover -1.5 Third Quarter Spread (+110)

WAGER: 2 Units

Even with the Celtics getting absolutely demoralized in Game 1, they still found a way to make adjustments at halftime and win the third quarter, as they have done all season long. We expect them to do it again in Game 2, regardless of the final score.

Boston has played terrific basketball in third quarters this year. They posted the best third-quarter scoring margin in the NBA, with a margin of +2.9 points. The Celtics also average 29.3 points in third quarters, which is the second-best mark in the league.

PREVIOUSLY: Celtics vs Bucks Game 1 Props

The first round of the NBA Playoffs is in the books, and the second round is giving us some interesting matchups. One of the most exciting matchups overall takes place in the Eastern Conference, with the Milwaukee Bucks facing the Boston Celtics.

Milwaukee comes into this game injured, with Khris Middleton already ruled out for the series. This is a massive blow to the reigning champs, but his absence does open the door for other players to step up and put forth terrific performances on both sides.

There are many ways to bet on this game, but due to the number of great players on both teams, a popular choice will be player prop bets. Sportsbooks have many different player props for you to wager on these player performances, giving you endless ways to play this Eastern Conference game.

All NBA postseason odds are provided by Caesars Sportsbook and are current as of Saturday, April 30, at 2:30 p.m. ET.

Bucks vs Celtics Game 1 Player Props

Jrue Holiday, Bucks: OVER 4.5 Total Rebounds (-115)

WAGER: 1 Unit

Jrue Holiday is known for many things, but his rebounding skills aren’t one of them. Still, we see this prop set a bit too low for how he has been performing.

Holiday averaged 4.5 rebounds per game this season and 4.8 rebounds in his four regular-season games against Boston. He’s also totaled five or more rebounds in four of his five games this postseason.

The Celtics aren’t a high-volume three-point shooting team, so this won’t be a situation where Holiday is hanging out on the perimeter all game long. He will have to come into the paint, leading to more rebounding opportunities.

Bet on Jrue to crash the boards in our NBA bet of the day.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bucks: OVER 30.5 Total Points (-125)

WAGER: 1 Unit

The Celtics have the best defense in the NBA. However, they haven’t shown much ability to stop or even slow down Giannis Antetokounmpo. Across three games against the Celtics this season, Giannis averaged 28.3 points on 53.4% shooting.

With Middleton out, the Greek Freak will need to be even more aggressive on the offensive end to keep pace with the Celtics on the scoreboard. He has totaled 32 or more points in three of his past four games, and he will likely do it again in Game 1.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bucks: UNDER 0.5 Three-Pointers Made (+155)

WAGER: 2 Units

These odds surprise me. The Celtics have the fifth-best perimeter defense in the NBA, holding opponents to 34.2% shooting beyond the arc.

While Giannis had success scoring against Boston this season, he did not make a single three-point attempt across three games. Giannis has also been held without a three-point make in three of his past four games.

While it only takes one made three for this prop to lose, the odds shouldn’t be this favorable. We’ll take it.

Bucks vs Celtics Game 1 Game Props

Celtics To Cover -1.5 Third-Quarter Spread (-105)

WAGER: 2 Units

There’s a chance the Celtics come out a bit rusty, due to the extended time off. However, they should be back in it by the second quarter, if that happens.

After halftime, Boston has been fantastic all year long. In fact, the Celtics have the best third-quarter margin in the NBA at +2.9 points, while Milwaukee is -1.1.

The Celtics average 29.3 third-quarter points this season, which is the second-best mark in the NBA. The Bucks average 28.8 points.
