The Philadelphia 76ers knocked off the Brooklyn Nets in a huge 102-97 win on the road to take a 3-0 series lead. Philly was able to win despite losing James Harden to an ejection late in the third quarter.
Tyrese Maxey stepped up with 25 points and has now combined for 58 in his last two games. The 76ers will have to play without star center Joel Embiid in Game 4, as he’s dealing with a sprained right knee.
Let’s see if Philadelphia can complete the sweep as we dive into these 76ers vs Nets best bets for Game 4 of this Eastern Conference matchup.

76ers vs Nets Game 4 Prediction
76ers 104, Nets 100
The 76ers have held the Nets to 101 points or fewer in each game throughout this series. Brooklyn has either shot poorly from the field or been forced into several turnovers by this swarming 76ers defense.
Philadelphia continues to get strong contributions from Maxey (23.7 points per game) and Tobias Harris (18.7 points), providing them with secondary scoring. Each player will have to step up in Embiid’s absence.
While Nets star Mikal Bridges has been terrific throughout the series, averaging a series-high 25.7 points per game, the former Suns forward is in desperate need of help. The Sixers have done a good job slowing Bridges down in the last two games, holding him to 15-for-41 (37%) shooting from the field.
It’s hard to see Brooklyn sending the series back to Philadelphia with a win here. The 76ers have enough depth to win without Embiid.
76ers vs Nets Game 4 Best Bets
76ers -2 (-110) • DraftKings Sportsbook
WAGER: 1 Unit
We’re getting the 76ers at a short price without Embiid, giving us some value. Even without Embiid, they’re still better on paper than the Nets.
Harden, Maxey, and Harris are capable of handling an increased load on offense.
The Sixers are a championship contender, so they’ll want to get this series over with as quickly as possible, allowing them to get some rest before the second round begins — especially since the Boston Celtics, Philadelphia’s likely opponent, have looked so dominant in their wins over the Atlanta Hawks.
Look for Philly to complete the sweep with another win in Brooklyn and make this your NBA bet of the day.
Under 208.5 Points (-110) • DraftKings Sportsbook
WAGER: 1 Unit
After we saw the Sixers win 121-101 in Game 1, this series has trended Under. The next two games combined for 180 and 199 points, respectively, which is comfortably below this number.
Philadelphia has done a great job on defense. After forcing 19 turnovers in Game 1, the Sixers have held the Nets to a combined 64-for-159 (40%) shooting from the field.

To make matters worse, Brooklyn continues to take shots from beyond the arc at a high rate with poor efficiency. The Nets have gone 23-for-72 (32%) from three-point range in their last two games.
They need to shoot better from range if this game is to go Over the number. It also helps that Embiid is out.
I’m betting against that happening in Game 4, so we’ll target the Under in this spot.

76ers vs Nets Series Preview
The Philadelphia 76ers look to get their bid for an NBA Championship against the Nets in this Eastern Conference first-round matchup.
Sixers’ superstar center and MVP favorite Joel Embiid put together a phenomenal season, averaging 33.1 points per game on 54.8% shooting from the field.
The Nets finished the year with an 11-13 record after trading Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant. Brooklyn will need emerging star Mikal Bridges to continue to carry them if they’re to make this series competitive.
With that in mind, let’s dive into some 76ers vs Nets best bets and predictions for this first-round series.

76ers vs Nets Series Prediction
76ers Win Series 4-1
The Nets (45-37) are simply overmatched against the 79ers (54-28) in this one.
We’re going to ignore season-long stats from the Nets here because the numbers are skewed from when Durant and Irving were on the team.
When you look at this current roster, you see an emerging star in Bridges surrounded by solid role players like Spencer Dinwiddie, Cameron Johnson, and Nic Claxton.
They feel like more of a team that belongs in the Play-in Tournament than their current sixth seed suggests.
While James Harden and Tyrese Maxey are currently nursing minor injuries, they should be good to go for this series.
Philly is on a mission with Embiid playing the best basketball of his career, likely en route to his first MVP award.
I can see Brooklyn stealing a game at home, but anything more than that would be a surprising result vs the Sixers.
76ers vs Nets Series Best Bet
76ers -2.5 (-150) • DraftKings Sportsbook
WAGER: 1 Unit
All we need is the 76ers to win in four or five games to hit this NBA bet of the day.
It’s hard to see how the Nets plan on slowing down Embiid, who went to the line at will in his two matchups against them, averaging 13 free throws per game.
The Sixers can also knock it down from long range, finishing first in the NBA in three-point percentage (38.7%).
Philly is a balanced team that ranked in the top 10 in both offensive and defensive rating this season.
I’m willing to lay the juice at -150 odds because it’s tough to envision a scenario where the Nets extend this series to six or more games, barring an injury to one of Philly’s key players.
