Serbia 1-1 Switzerland
Serbia has the advantage on the attack, ranking eighth in the World Cup with 1.5 goals per match. However, Switzerland are ranked as the fourth-best defensive unit, conceding just 0.5 goals per match. This is a recipe for a highly contested match, which could come down to the final whistle.
Aleksandar Mitrović has just one goal this World Cup after securing eight during qualifying. Look for the Serbian strikers, along with Dušan Vlahović, to be heavily involved if the Eagles are to penetrate the Swiss defense.
Dušan Tadić will need to be on top of his game as a distributor after dishing out six assists during World Cup qualifying (just one in the World Cup.)
La Nati are known for their defense, but will likely need to find the scoreboard if they are to keep pace with Serbia. The Swiss team will look to Xherdan Shaqiri to generate goal-scoring chances for Breel Embolo.
