Saudi Arabia and Mexico will meet up for only the fifth time in their history and the first time in the new millennium. This will be the final matchday of the group stage for Group C and could have significant implications depending on the results of the first two matches.
Mexico is expected to be in contention to advance out of the group, with Argentina currently being the clear-cut favorite. Poland is also projected to be in the mix to qualify, so Mexico will be looking to take care of business against a sub-par Saudi Arabian team.
El Tri will be looking for its attack to return to form after dealing with several significant injuries in the months leading up to the tournament.
For Saudi Arabia, striker Saleh Al-Shehri will need to have exceeded expectations and carried the Saudi’s attack up to this point if they expect to be fighting for a qualifying spot.
The match is set to take place on Wednesday, Nov. 30, and will be played at Lusial Stadium.

Saudi Arabia vs Mexico odds are current as of Thursday, Oct. 27 at 4 p.m. ET on FanDuel Sportsbook.
Looking first at the 3-way handicap, Saudi Arabia will likely be playing its final game of the 2022 World Cup when they take on Mexico. While there were not high expectations for the Saudis, making and competing in the largest soccer competition is a huge honor in itself.
Saudi Arabia’s most glaring issue entering the tournament has been its attack. It is safe to expect a clean sheet in Mexico’s favor, making “No” for Both Teams to Score a solid play to look at.
Finally, the Under for the total seems intriguing, with Mexico likely opting for a more defensive formation after taking the lead in this match.

Saudi Arabia vs Mexico Prediction
Saudi Arabia 0-2 Mexico
Mexico could possibly advance to the Round of 16 for the eighth consecutive World Cup with a win over Saudi Arabia. You can expect the Gerardo Martino-managed team to play up to the standard the team has set for itself with a convincing win over Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia had the misfortune of being drawn into one of the more difficult groups in the tournament.
With Argentina being a contender to win it all, and Mexico and Poland both being highly regarded teams, Saudia Arabia was going to have an extremely difficult time putting up results in the stacked group.
Saudi Arabia will likely look to exit the tournament on a high note, but will quickly be humbled by Edson Álvarez and the stout, Mexico defense.
As for Mexico’s attack, it will be interesting to see how El Tri score goals in the tournament.
With Raúl Jiménez’s availability for the World Cup still in question and all-time leading goal scorer, Javier “Chicharito” Hernández, being dropped from the squad by Martino, Mexico will need contributions from some of the younger forwards they have.
Should Jiménez prove fit, the 31-year-old forward should excel in this match, but also the group as a whole.

- The Saudis have conceded under one goal per game in both friendlies and qualifiers leading to the tournament.
Saudi Arabia vs Mexico Best Bets
➕ Mexico -1 (+165)
WAGER: 2 Units
Mexico should cover fairly easily against the young and inexperienced Saudi Arabian team. El Tri will be motivated to dominate in this match with there being a serious chance that Poland steal the final qualifying spot from them.
Despite Saudi Arabia’s tendency to play in low-scoring games, Mexico should be in top form in its third game and find a goal in both halves.
