Belgium and Morocco are set to match up for only the fourth time in history at the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The two teams will meet for Matchday 2 of Group F matches on Nov. 27 at Al Thumama Stadium in Doha, Qatar.
Belgium opens up the tournament against Canada in a match that the No. 2 team, according to FIFA, should dominate. Manager Roberto MartÃnez will have four days between matches to prepare his players to take on the Atlas Lions.
Meanwhile, Walid Regragui’s team will have back-to-back tough matchups with Croatia to start the tournament, followed by the powerhouse that is Belgium. While it may be difficult for Hakim Ziyech and company to advance past the group stage, the Moroccans will be looking to at least win their first World Cup game since 1998 when they defeated Scotland.
Belgium’s star power will prove to be too difficult for the Moroccans to handle, but you can guarantee Regragui will have his team fighting until the final whistle.

Belgium vs Morocco odds are current as of Thursday, October 20, at 4 p.m. ET, on FanDuel Sportsbook.
Morocco is expected to give Belgium far more of a challenge than Canada is projected to. Morocco’s dominant run in CAF qualifiers has fans anticipating a far better performance than the team has shown in recent World Cups.
Even so, pulling out a win against Belgium might just be too ambitious for the Moroccan team that has so many question marks.
Off the bat, Over 2.5 goals seems like a likely outcome in this game. Both teams are very strong on the attack with players like Romelu Lukaku and Kevin De Bruyne for Belgium and young Moroccan stars Achraf Hakimi and Noussair Mazraoui. Even with two class goalkeepers on either side, there will be too many chances to save everything.
Both Teams to Score is another solid play based on the attack of both sides.

Belgium vs Morocco Prediction
Belgium 3-1 Morocco
Belgium should perform better in its second game in the tournament. Both teams will have had days of becoming accustomed to the dry desert weather and should be playing at the top of their game.
When Belgium is at full strength, it can compete with any team in the world. Morocco simply has too many question marks in the midfield and back line, which makes it hard to back them to produce a result.
One of Morocco’s top goalscorers of all time, Youssef En-Nesyri, has been poor as of late, struggling in club and national team appearances. Ziyech has also seen very minimal minutes at Chelsea this season and may not be at his best going into this year’s World Cup.
De Bruyne will prove to be too much in the midfield as he has shown across all competitions this season. You can expect him to be a part of all three goals with a pair of assists and finding the back of the net once, as well.
Morocco’s chances will be limited, but the young midfielder, Azzedine Ounahi, will find a goal for his side before it is all said and done.

Belgium vs Morocco Best Bets
âž• Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals (+140) at FanDuel Sportsbook
WAGER: 2 Unit(s)
Based on what both teams have shown leading up to the tournament, this prop should hit fairly easily. Although Morocco’s 20 goals in CAF qualifiers came against far-lesser opponents, the team’s ability to find goals is apparent.
Not much has to be said about Belgium, who are a proven team projected to make a deep tournament run.
The main hesitation for this play will be Morocco finding a way to score. Belgium could very well hit the Over 2.5 themselves, so it all falls on Morocco fighting despite a clear skill gap.
