The Socceroos are yet again paired with Denmark and France in their World Cup group but face an unfamiliar foe in Tunisia this time around. This will only be the third meeting between the two sides with both teams winning once.
Tunisia is coming off a shocking result against Denmark, walking away with a point following a 0-0 draw.
Meanwhile, Australia got off to a quick start by scoring the opening goal against defending World Cup champions France. Unfortunately, they would go on to lose 4-1.
The odds are stacked against both nations to qualify out of the group and this might be their best chance of leaving the World Cup with at least one victory.
Let’s dive in on the best bets for Tunisia vs Australia.

Tunisia vs Australia odds are current as of 9 a.m. ET, on Nov. 3, at Caesars Sportsbook.
Australia are slight favorites to win this contest but the oddsmakers do not have an angle on who will come out victorious. They are also expecting a low-scoring game with the total sitting at only 1.5, which is rare for a match.

Tunisia vs Australia Prediction
Tunisia 0-1 Australia
It would not be surprising if this game ended in a 0-0 draw but I do give the edge to Australia because they possess a better attack with more dynamic players.
Tunisia vs Australia Betting Tips
I’m expecting a very low-scoring game between Tunisia and Australia. Tunisia plays a very defensive style of play with four in the back. Their attack is nothing special, but it is a very tough team to break down defensively.
The Socceroos also play out from the back and will drop at least six players back on defense to slowly build up the attack. They play in a 4-2-3-1 formation and their fullbacks will advance up the pitch.
Aaron Mooy will be the key player in the Australian midfield to be the connector between the backline and the attack but they will look to play up the wing, as well. They will take their time building up the attack and try to find the weakness in the Tunisian defense.
The 26-year-old striker Ajdin Hrustic will be the main man for Australia at the top of the attack to find the back of the net.
Tunisia was surprisingly competitive at the 2018 World Cup with only a one-goal loss to England and a three-goal loss to Belgium. They did, however, win their last group stage game 2-1 against Panama. Since 2018, the team has transitioned from an attacking team to a defensive team, which we witnessed during their qualifying matches.
Tunisia vs Australia Best Bets
Under 1.5 Total Goals (+150)
WAGER: 1 Unit
This is a bit of a risky bet since a penalty kick is always in play which automatically could tip the match over the 1.5 total goals. There is no other appealing bet in this match, and I will side with two teams that play defensive football to play a slow-paced match with few goal-scoring chances.
Tunisia has also kept a clean sheet in seven of their last eight matches.
