Premier League Best Bets Matchweek 26

Last Updated: Mar 2, 2023

Matchweek 25 in the Premier League saw us fall short in our best bet parlay.

Liverpool failed to score on the road against Crystal Palace, while Fulham managed to walk away with just a draw at home against Wolverhampton.

Both Manchester City and Arsenal took care of business at the top of the table, with the Gunners extending their lead to five points with a midweek victory over Everton.

Overall, it was a disappointing weekend from a betting standpoint in the EPL.

Let’s dig into the fixtures for Matchweek 26 and determine our best bets.

Premier League Matchweek 26 Predictions

Matchweek 26 in the Premier League will feature an exciting matchup between Man City and Newcastle on Saturday, with Sunday providing a clash between Liverpool and Manchester United.

Each matchup will have a strong impact on the table moving forward, as well as an intriguing showdown between Brentford and Fulham.

Odds are current as of 1 p.m. ET on Thursday, March 2, and courtesy of BetMGM Sportsbook.

Brentford vs Fulham Best Bet

Over 2.5 Goals (-120) | BetMGM Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

Only six clubs have outscored Brentford (37) this season, with Fulham trailing them by just one goal.

The Bees have not lost in their previous 11 EPL matches, which is the longest current streak in the league.

Meanwhile, the Cottagers are well within striking distance of a Champions League spot, trailing Spurs by only six points in the table.

Look for each club to light up the scoreboard in this one, headlined by strikers Ivan Toney and Aleksandar Mitrović, making this our EPL pick of the day.

Arsenal vs Bournemouth Best Bet

Arsenal -2 (+155) | BetMGM Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

Bournemouth have conceded a league-worst 48 goals this season in the Premier League while reaching the back of the net the fewest times since the World Cup.

At the same time, the Gunners have outscored every club but Manchester City during that time period.

Arsenal have never lost to the Cherries at home in any competition, and I expect that trend to continue this weekend.

Look for Mikel Arteta‘s squad to make quick work of Bournemouth with their impressive offensive firepower and strong defensive presence.

Aston Villa vs Crystal Palace Best Bet

Aston Villa Wins (+110) | BetMGM Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

Aston Villa have now won six of their 11 matches under manager Unai Emery after defeating Everton 2-0 last weekend.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace have failed to secure a victory in eight consecutive EPL assignments (0-5-3), while winning just two of their 11 away matches.

Bet on the Villians to walk away with three points against Patrick Vieira and the Eagles.

Premier League Matchweek 26 Parlay

  • Manchester City vs Newcastle: Over 2.5 Goals
  • Arsenal vs Bournemouth: Over 2.5 Goals
  • Chelsea vs Leeds United: Under 2.5 Goals
  • Brentford vs Fulham: Over 2.5 Goals

(+765) | BetMGM Sportsbook

Premier League Best Bets Matchweek 26 Parlay

We are going to have some fun with the Over/Under odds this weekend for our Premier League parlay.

As mentioned above, I expect there to be plenty of goals from the Bees and Cottagers, in addition to a strong offensive performance from the Gunners.

The showdown between Man City and Newcastle is also likely to result in Over 2.5 goals, with that number hitting in the club’s previous four meetings (and nine out of the last 11).

Lastly, Chelsea have looked absolutely lost in the attacking third under Graham Potter, scoring just one goal in February and three goals in the new year.

The good news is that the Blues have not conceded more than two goals since Oct. 29, so there should be a strong expectation for the Under to hit against Leeds United.
