Premier League Best Bets Matchweek 25

Last Updated: Feb 22, 2023

Matchweek 24 in the Premier League led to some mixed results in my best bet recommendations.

Marcus Rashford and Manchester United held up their end by defeating Leicester City 3-0 at Old Trafford, securing three points and hitting the Over all by themselves.

Meanwhile, Brighton failed to reach the back of the net at home against Fulham, falling 0-1 and dropping behind the Magpies in the table. My prediction of Both Teams to Score fell short despite the Seagulls holding 66% possession and a 7-2 advantage in shots on target.

Overall, it was an exciting weekend in the EPL, with a complete shakeup at the top of the table.

Let’s dig into the fixtures for Matchweek 25 and determine our best bets.

Premier League Matchweek 25 Predictions

Matchweek 25 will be without four of the most successful clubs in the Premier League this season due to postponements. There will be no match for Manchester United, Newcastle, Brentford, or Brighton.

However, I am looking forward to a London Derby clash between Tottenham and Chelsea on Sunday, in addition to battles involving the top two when Arsenal (vs Leicester City) and Manchester City (vs Bournemouth) face matches on the road.

Fulham vs Wolverhampton Best Bet

Fulham Wins (+120) | BetMGM Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

The Cottagers come in fresh off a huge victory away at Brighton last weekend to pull them into the top six.

They’ll square off against Wolverhampton on Friday in what should be a solid opportunity for Aleksandar Mitrović and Bobby Decordova-Reid to reach the back of the net. The Wolves have conceded 32 goals in 23 matches this season and are fresh off a home loss to Bournemouth.

While Wolverhampton has played better of late, their +120 odds are too good to pass up for a strong Fulham side at home.

Leicester City vs Arsenal Best Bet

Arsenal -1 (+175) | BetMGM Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

Leicester City have allowed the second-most goals in the Premier League this season (41), while also securing the second-fewest points at home (12).

Meanwhile, the Gunners lead the EPL with goals scored on the road with 24, with only Newcastle United having conceded fewer away from home this season.

Look for Bukayo Saka, who has scored nine times this season with eight assists, to find the back of the net this weekend in an easy Arsenal victory.

Everton vs Aston Villa Best Bet

Both Teams To Score (-115) | BetMGM Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

Sean Dyche continues to impress since taking over as Everton’s manager, with the club winning two out of their last three matches.

The Toffees are out of the relegation zone and have scored in each of their last five home games.

On the other side, Aston Villa are coming off a 4-2 loss to Arsenal last weekend in a game that was much closer than the final score would indicate.

Ollie Watkins has reached the back of the net in each of his last four matches, while the Villans have scored five goals in their last three.

Look for both teams to light up the scoreboard this weekend.

Premier League Matchweek 25 Parlay

  • Fulham Win (vs Wolverhampton)
  • Manchester City Win & Over 2.5 Total Goals (vs Bournemouth)
  • Arsenal Win (vs Leicester City)
  • Liverpool Win & Under 3.5 Total Goals (vs Crystal Palace)

(+1461) | BetMGM Sportsbook

EPL Matchweek 25 Parlay

Liverpool have won their last two games 1-0, while Crystal Palace have failed to score more than once in a match since Dec. 21.

Pair a Reds low-scoring victory with likely wins for Fulham, Man City, and the Gunners to see a potentially solid profit.
