FFPC Fantasy Sports Hands-on Review

The Fantasy Football Player’s Championship (FFPC) provides pay-to-play, season-long contests with a variety of entry fees and player pools. Each league starts in Week 1 and concludes in Week 16 of the NFL season. You can join contests that range from $5 all the way up to $10,000 in league fees, which is great because it caters to the needs of both beginners and veterans.

There are numerous league formats at FFPC, including redraft, dynasty, and best ball. They have live events held in Las Vegas, providing players with an opportunity to meet each other and enjoy the festivities before the start of the NFL season. The FFPC Main Event ($1 million) and Footballguys Players Championship ($500,000) each have massive grand prizes, giving you a chance to hit it big while playing fantasy football.

The FFPC is a licensed fantasy sports operator that has paid out millions in cash prizes over the years, so you can always feel safe and secure with your money here. Prizes are paid out quickly as well, whether it’s winnings from a smaller league or for first overall in the Main Event. You’ll also be able to make deposits and withdrawals through numerous payment methods, making it a convenient process.

Not only does FFPC have diversity in its league types and entry fees, but you’ll also enjoy a unique scoring system, known as tight end premium.

This is where tight ends receive 1.5 points per reception, which is half a point more than wide receivers and running backs. The goal here is to try to narrow the gap between tight end scoring with other positions.

It’s a cool concept that adds more strategy.

Overall, the site runs smoothly with no technical issues. You won’t have to worry about your computer freezing while you’re trying to draft your favorite player. The plethora of options in contests and entry fees make this accessible for all types of players. If you’re looking for another season-long fantasy football league, be sure to check out the FFPC.

How Does FFPC Fantasy Sports Work?

FFPC is a season-long platform for fantasy football. Users will draft players who will compile stats from Weeks 1-16 of the NFL season. In redraft and dynasty formats you can adjust your rosters through free agent pickups, while best ball does not have any player moves. You’re able to make trades in dynasty leagues, but not in redraft.

When making free-agent moves, you participate in a blind-bidding process. Each team has an allotted free agent acquisition budget (FAAB). Basically, each week you’ll bid on your target without knowing what it will cost to acquire them. This is where the strategy comes in, as you have to try to determine the price without going overboard because you want to make sure you have enough FAAB for the long haul.

You can join drafts that move quickly with a 60-second timer or keep it slow with options for two and six hours.

The drafts are in serpentine or snake format, meaning that the order is reversed in each round. For example, the first round goes from pick one to 12, while the second goes in the opposite order. There are even auction contests, where you construct your roster by bidding on players.

Each contest has its own rules, so be sure to read over this section. The scoring is similar in that each league has tight end premium, where this position earns 1.5 points per catch instead of the one awarded to wide receivers and running backs. You can join smaller competitions with cash prizes to the winners, or large-field tournaments that have grand prizes in addition to league winnings.

Is FFPC Fantasy Sports Legit?

Yes, FFPC is completely legit and legal. It is a licensed fantasy sports operator that is vetted to maintain integrity in each of its contests. Geofencing technology is implemented to ensure that players are residing in states where FFPC is operational. Know Your Customer is utilized to verify the identity of each user.

Can You Win Real Money Playing at FFPC Fantasy Sports?

Yes, you’re able to win real money at FFPC as long as you’re within state lines where the platform is operational. The site has awarded winnings since 2008, renowned for its efficiency in paying out cash prizes.

FFPC Fantasy Sports Signup Bonus

FFPC has an exclusive signup bonus for entries. Learn more below!

$25 FREE

Get $25 off when you sign up to a league entry of $35 or more.

FFPC $25 signup promotions are limited to one user per household. FFPC $25 promos will be auto-applied to league entry of $35 or more on the payment page for eligible users. If not used, promos will expire at the start of the NFL season in the year in which the promos were awarded. Promos do not have a cash value. In the unlikely case that the NFL season is cancelled, all promos will be voided.

FFPC Fantasy Sports No-Deposit Bonus

No-deposit bonuses are given as site credits to new users without requiring them to fund their accounts. It’s a great way to test out the platform before deciding whether or not you want to put money into your balance.

FFPC does not currently offer this, but they do have early bird specials for their large-field tournaments.

For example, if you join Footballguys tournament by June 30, 2022, and complete your draft by July 15, 2022, you’ll receive $35 in site credits, which can be used in a $35-entry league. You can get a maximum of three of these credits.

Deposit Bonus

Deposit bonuses are provided by operators to new users as a new-player offer. This is where your first deposit is matched up to a certain amount, usually at approximately $200.

FFPC does not have a deposit bonus for new users, but they provide you with discounts on certain leagues if you enter multiple teams. For example, the Footballguys tournament has a $350 entry fee. You have the option to pay $1,000 for three teams, saving $50 in league fees.

My FFPC Fantasy Sports App Experience

FFPC has an app available for both iOS and Android devices. You will have to install the app through your mobile browser, as it is currently not available on Google Play. Not to worry though, as it’s really easy to just download the app online. I enjoyed my experience using the app, as it gets high marks in functionality.

It has a simple interface that makes it easy to find your information, although it’s a bit lacking in its visual appeal. It doesn’t really affect the user experience, but it’s a minor gripe worth noting. You’ll find a menu at the bottom of your screen which includes your teams, contest lobby, notifications, and side action. The latter is a cool feature that allows you to challenge another opponent for money in a specific week.

Finding your preferred contest is a simple process within the lobby. It was helpful to have an ‘Info’ option next to ‘Join,’ allowing you to be fully aware of what is involved with the league in terms of rules, prizes, and more.

My one issue here is that you aren’t able to filter your search, but once you click ‘Join,’ you’ll see several contests related to the league format that you selected. Each league is organized into various sections, such as Today’s Live Drafts, Sit & Go (fast timers), Slow Drafts, and much more.

When accessing your roster, it’s easy to start and sit your players or make free-agent acquisitions. I didn’t have any issues while adjusting my roster, so the app works well in replicating the desktop experience. It was also convenient to have ‘Add Funds’ prominently displayed at the top of the screen, making it easy to deposit funds into your account.

Overall, FFPC does a good job with its mobile app, making it a nice addition to the platform. It didn’t take away from the user experience, so I was pleased with how it operated.

Should You Play at FFPC Fantasy Sports?

You should absolutely play at FFPC if you’re an avid fantasy football player. Whether you want to dive right into high-stakes formats and compete for huge grand prizes, or if you just want to sprinkle some funds in smaller leagues, this is the spot for you.

It’s also great to be able to participate in redraft, dynasty, and best ball formats. If you want to build a roster over the long haul, join dynasty. If you prefer to compete for one year, enter a redraft league. If you desire the thrill of fantasy football without the time invested in adjusted your lineup, go with best ball. FFPC does a good job making sure that it has everything you need when it comes to fantasy football.

You even have an opportunity to make connections and build relationships by attending live drafts in Las Vegas, which are a lot of fun. You can compete against your favorite experts across the industry with their Pros vs Joes format. The variety of selection at FFPC helps make it one of the top fantasy sports operators within this space.

The tight end premium scoring format is a cool new idea that also sets it apart from the competition. It’s nice to see operators try to incorporate innovations into fantasy football. Join FFPC today and get in the action this NFL season.
