The Arizona Cardinals have traded the 23rd overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft to the Baltimore Ravens for WR Marquise Brown and pick No. 100.
What an absolute BLOCKBUSTER during the first round of the draft. Yet another notable wideout on the move in an unprecedented NFL offseason for household name player personnel movements.
While the Cardinals could have taken an incoming prospect at pick No. 23, they elected to go with the proven commodity in Brown, who was QB Kyler Murray’s teammate at Oklahoma State in 2018. That was the year Murray won the Heisman and Brown went ballistic as a big-play wideout, leading the nation in receptions over 40 yards.
Marquise Brown Fantasy Football WR Tips
With DeAndre Hopkins, A.J. Green, and Zach Ertz already in the lineup, Brown will not see double coverage often, He could also see No. 2 corners a lot more than he ever has with Hopkins drawing the enemy defense’s best.

Brown is coming off his best fantasy season as a pro, finishing the year as the PPR WR21 with 14.1 FPPG.
While Lamar Jackson is an outstanding athlete, Murray is the superior quarterback, making this an upgrade for Brown. Brown has a legit shot to end 2022 as a top-15 wideout in fantasy.
For the Ravens, look for impending second-year wideout Rashod Bateman to serve as the team’s WR1. However, I expect Mark Andrews to act as the team’s proverbial possession receiver.
As of now, Andrews will be in the conversation as the top fantasy tight end with Travis Kelce. Expect the Ravens to add a veteran wideout once the draft concludes. Odell Beckham Jr., Jarvis Landry, and Antonio Brown are all on the open market.
