DeVonta Smith is coming off a promising rookie season where he caught 64 of 104 targets for 916 yards and five touchdowns.
He showed the ability to earn targets, posting a 23 percent target share. Smith is a player who can be a top wideout in this league.

While A.J. Brown will take some attention off Smith, this is bad news for the former Alabama star’s fantasy value. Brown is going to eat into Smith’s target share and I don’t think that the Eagles will have enough passing volume to support an elite WR1 like Brown and a high-end WR2 in this offense.

This is a downgrade for Smith’s overall volume, but perhaps we can see more scoring opportunities because the offense should be among the best in the NFL with the addition of Brown.
I’d be more inclined to rank Smith as a high-end WR3 in redraft leagues, but if his ADP falls enough, he could turn into a value.
