Dallas Goedert just put up a breakout season, catching 56 of 76 targets for 830 yards and four touchdowns, posting his best production once Zach Ertz was dealt to the Arizona Cardinals. Goedert was targeted 26 times in his last four games.

The problem is that A.J. Brown is now going to eat into that target share and we know that Jalen Hurts is not a high-volume passer, opting to take off and run at a high rate.
This trade is going to hurt Goedert’s target share, but he’ll have more opportunities for touchdowns.

Goedert remains a top-10 tight end with high upside, but this isn’t the best news for his fantasy value in redraft leagues. Keep an eye out for his ADP because we could see it fall with the addition of Brown, turning Goedert into a value.
