NFL Conference Championship Prop Bets | Best NFL Playoffs Prop Predictions & Picks

Last Updated: Jan 30, 2022

It’s hard to capture just how spectacular last weekend’s games were.

If you’re a Buffalo Bills fan, you might have another word for what transpired. But if you enjoy good football, the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs delivered in a way few football weekends ever have.

As for my prop bets, well, the Bills fans and I can share some similar words. For the first time in months — quite literally, months — I finished a weekend with a losing record.

That said, I’m feeling good. With two delightful Conference Championship games to wager on, I am thrilled to get another crack. And as we barrel toward the offseason, we must take advantage of moments like these.

Without further adieu, here are my best NFL Conference Championship prop bets.

Please note that all NFL gameday odds and lines are current as of 11 a.m. ET on Wednesday, January 26.

NFL Conference Championship Prop Bets

Cincinnati Bengals vs Kansas City Chiefs

Kansas City needed 13 seconds to set up a game-tying field against Buffalo. That’s it. Oh, and they needed a coin flip in overtime, which they got, and then marched the ball right down the field for a game-winning touchdown.

Patrick Mahomes was sensational, scoring four touchdowns and amassing over 400 total yards. His favorite targets — wideout Tyreek Hill and tight end Travis Kelce — were exceptional as well.

How the Bengals try to slow down those three will be fascinating to watch. And if Cincinnati simply plans to outscore Mahomes, it will have to find a way to better protect quarterback Joe Burrow, who was sacked nine times by the Tennessee Titans last week.

The Bengals have plenty of offensive skill talent to keep up, which they proved during their regular-season win over the Chiefs. But the moment certainly feels different this time around given recent events, and the outcome will likely be different as well.

What won’t be different? There will be points. Lots of ‘em.

Over 27.5 1st Half Points (-105) at Betway

Wager: 1 Unit

Kansas City might hit this by its lonesome. Fine, maybe that’s a smidge aggressive. But the Chiefs are likely to score early and often, and the Bengals should find the end zone as well.

Chiefs (-2.5) After 1st Quarter (-115) at Betway

Wager: 1 Unit

The momentum from Kansas City’s last win should carry over, especially at home. I don’t expect the Chiefs to skip a beat, and I think their offense will have more opportunities than the first time they faced the Bengals in Week 17.

San Francisco 49ers vs Los Angeles Rams

We’ve seen this game twice thus far. The 49ers are 2-0 in those games, and they have accounted for 40 percent of the Rams’ losses this season. The old saying, of course, is that it’s hard to beat a team three times in one year.

Well, that might be. But the 49ers appear to be up for anything at the moment.

Granted, their offense has to be better. San Francisco can’t rely on its special teams to win again. And it can’t simply rely on its defense — regardless of how good it has been — to slow down Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp, and the rest of LA’s star-studded offense.

With left tackle Trent Williams and star wideout/running back Deebo Samuel banged up, it will not be easy. And yet, this feels like a game the 49ers can make just ugly enough to win once again.

Under 5 Touchdowns (+110) at Betway

Wager: 1 Unit

Given the offensive talent in this game, I understand the risk here. But given the value and the possibility of San Francisco ugly-ing up another football game, I am more than happy to take that plunge for our NFL bet of the day.

49ers To Win 1st Half (+145) at Betway

Wager: 1 Unit

Considering the value, I’m more than willing to take a stab. While the 49ers needed to mount a comeback the last time these two teams met, the flow of this game should be different. San Francisco jumps out to a first-half edge.
