NFL DFS Best Picks Divisional Round | ThriveFantasy Daily Fantasy Props To Play

Last Updated: Jul 14, 2023

The NFL Playoffs are underway and we are on to the Divisional Round! We have four games on the slate this weekend, which means we still have plenty of DFS candidates to choose from. If you’re looking for a way to combine the fun of betting and fantasy football, ThriveFantasy may be the perfect site for you.

Unlike the typical salary cap lineup construction format that most DFS sites follow, ThriveFantasy has users pick over or under specific stat categories for players. Picking the more unlikely option rewards the user more points. You are competing with other users who have entered the contest to earn the most points. The user with the most points wins the most money.

There are other game formats on ThriveFantasy, including a touchdown-only contest, which is self-explanatory. For the sake of this article, we will be giving picks for the typical game format.

Now that you understand how ThriveFantasy works, let’s get into the DFS football predictions series for the Divisional Round! We’ll go over one pick for each game on the schedule.

Prop stats information for NFL DFS Divisional Round picks are current as of Thursday, January 20, at 8:30 p.m. ET.

NFL DFS Divisional Round: ThriveFantasy Daily Fantasy Sports

Derrick Henry, RB, Tennessee Titans vs. Cincinnati Bengals

OVER 88.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards

Derrick Henry is back! Titans head coach Mike Vrabel was quoted as saying he doesn’t like pitch counts because they don’t let players get into a rhythm. This is especially true with Henry, as he does most of his damage in the second half of games after wearing opposing defenses down.

Accordingly, Henry should see a large workload in his return from a broken foot suffered during Week 8. The Bengals also endured a couple of injuries to their defensive line last week, making their run defense especially vulnerable.

Their timing couldn’t have been worse, and Henry should take advantage.

Allen Lazard, WR, Green Bay Packers vs. San Francisco 49ers

OVER 2.5 Receptions

Allen Lazard has really stepped up his play over the past couple of weeks, becoming a trusted go-to weapon for Aaron Rodgers. And with Marquez Valdes-Scantling (back) doubtful to play on Saturday night, Lazard will serve as Green Bay’s No. 2 receiver after Davante Adams.

With 11 receptions on 12 targets over his last two games, Lazard should be busy again on Saturday. And with San Francisco’s defense honing in on Adams, Lazard will have an easier time getting open.

Patrick Mahomes, QB, Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills

OVER 245.5 Passing Yards

ThriveFantasy has a discounted line for Patrick Mahomes on Sunday. ThriveFantasy brought his passing yards line down to 245.5.

This is an absolute steal. Mahomes has gone Under this mark in only three games this season and hasn’t done so since Week 13. Against the Bills this season, Mahomes threw for 272 yards. He should have no problem hitting this Over.

Odell Beckham Jr., WR, Los Angeles Rams @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

OVER 3.5 Receptions

The way to beat the Buccaneers is to pass the ball, which should entice the Rams into deploying a pass-heavy approach. This means more opportunities for Odell Beckham Jr., who has started to look more comfortable in LA’s offense lately.

While Matthew Stafford only threw the ball 17 times against the Arizona Cardinals last week, Beckham still caught all four of his targets, giving him at least four receptions in three of his last four games.

With Stafford likely needing to throw 30+ times in this potential shootout against Tom Brady, Beckham should have little trouble hitting the Over for our NFL bet of the day.

Tyreek Hill, WR, Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills

OVER 3.5 Receptions

I have no idea why this prop is set so low, but we’ll take this free pick. In a blowout win over the Pittsburgh Steelers last week, Tyreek Hill still totaled five receptions. He’s averaging 6.4 catches per game this year and has notched at least four receptions in 14 of his 18 games this season

Consider this your free square for the weekend.
