Bills vs Chiefs Predictions | NFL Divisional Round Playoffs Pick of the Day

Last Updated: Jan 23, 2022

Arguably the best game of the weekend will be a rematch of the AFC Championship Game from last season.

Buffalo is coming into Kansas City off one of their best wins in franchise history. Josh Allen and the Bills torched the Patriots as they scored a touchdown on every single drive. They got past one giant in the first round of the playoffs, but now they will have to get by another in the Chiefs on Sunday evening.

The Chiefs are coming off a blowout win over the Steelers as the offense scored 42 points, despite two first-half turnovers. The Chiefs scored a touchdown on six-straight drives on Sunday night as they totaled 478 yards of offense.

Can they keep the momentum against one of the best teams left in the playoffs? Or is this the year the Bills finally take down the Chiefs in the postseason?

Here are all of our favorite picks and betting lines for this AFC Divisional Round matchup.

Please note that all odds and lines are current as of 2:30 p.m. ET on Friday, January 21, 2022.

Bills vs Chiefs Prediction AFC Wild Card Playoffs

Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes combined to throw 10 touchdowns (and one interception) in the Wild Card round of the playoffs. Both players had arguably their best postseason game to date, as they walked the ball up and down the field all night long.

This game should be much closer than their matchup earlier this season, or during last postseason, as the Chiefs look to be back on the right track with both sides of the ball clicking.

It could truly go either way, but with the Chiefs being at home and healthy on offense, it’s hard to pick against them. Look for the Chiefs to get the win and advance to the AFC title game for the fourth-straight season.

Prediction: Chiefs 28, Bills 24

Bills vs Chiefs Best Bets AFC Wild Card Playoffs

Best Bet: Chiefs -2 (-108) at TwinSpires

Wager: 1 Unit

The Chiefs are nearly impossible to beat at home during the playoffs. The offense is on a roll and the defense is playing so much better than we are used to seeing at this time of the year.

Buffalo should be able to keep this game closer than what we’ve seen in years past, but the Chiefs are still the better and more consistent team. They are running the ball really well now, too, despite Clyde Edwards-Helaire being out of the lineup. If they can run the ball even adequately well on Sunday, they should win this game fairly easily.

Considering the spread is less than a field goal, Kansas City has to be the pick at home. They are just too good of a team to slip up here, despite how good the Bills have been this season.

Best Bet: Under 54 Total Points (-110) at TwinSpires

Wager: 1 Unit

Points are going to be scored early and often in this game, but the difference in this game compared to the previous one is Kansas City’s defense.

With Melvin Ingram on the field, they have a four-man pass-rush unit that could actually disrupt Buffalo’s offense. Kansas City also has the defensive backs to match up with the wide receivers for Buffalo.

Expect this to be a high-scoring game, but for both defenses to get enough stops for the Under to hit in Kansas City.
