The paths of the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears have diverged wildly since their last meeting in Week 6 — a 24-14 Packers victory in which Aaron Rodgers declared his ownership of the Bears and their fans.
The loss sent Chicago into a tailspin, kicking off a five-game losing streak that essentially ended their playoff hopes. The Packers, on the other hand, own the second-best record in the NFL at 9-3 and are battling for the top seed in the NFC.
Now, they’ll meet again on Sunday Night Football in Week 14. Will Green Bay continue its dominance at home in this primetime divisional matchup? Or will Chicago bounce back with an upset win?
Let’s dig in with our Bears vs Packers predictions and best bets.

Sunday Night Football Prediction Week 14
As mentioned, the Bears have fallen apart since the last time they faced the Packers, slipping to 4-8 and third place in the NFC North. Rookie QB Justin Fields hasn’t provided the spark that many had hoped for, but is expected to start after missing the last few games with a rib injury.
Regardless of who starts at quarterback, Chicago has a terrible offense that has only outscored the Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars in terms of points per game this year.
Those struggles will likely continue on the road against a strong Green Bay defense that’s allowing the fifth-fewest points per game in the NFL this season. The Bears’ offense is devoid of playmakers and has managed more than 22 points just twice all season.

While the Packers’ offense has been up and down, they’re trending in the right direction with 30+ points in each of their last two games. They’re also fully rested coming off a bye, which bodes well for Rodgers and co. against a Bears defense that ranks 22nd in points allowed.

Chicago is 1-6 over their last seven games, with their lone win during that span coming against the Detroit Lions (barely) on Thanksgiving. They’ve regressed into one of the worst teams in the NFL on both sides of the ball in what will likely be Matt Nagy‘s final season at the helm.
As for Green Bay, they’re one of the top teams in the league and once again find themselves in the Super Bowl hunt. Look for them to shred Chicago at home in primetime.
SNF Week 14 Pick: Packers 30, Bears 10
Sunday Night Football Best Bets Week 14
SNF Best Bet: Packers -12.5 (-110) at Caesars
For those who know me, you know I hate hefty spreads. So much needs to go right in a game for a spread like -12.5 to hit. There’s always a chance for a backdoor cover and other bogus scenarios.
On top of that, it’s also Sunday Night Football and sometimes the favorite will come out flat at home.

That said, I just can’t justify taking the Bears on the road. With how poorly they’ve been playing lately, they deserve to be double-digit dogs on our NFL gameday odds.
Give me the Packers, whose defensive line is going to wreak havoc on Chicago’s backfield.

SNF Best Bet: Under 43 Total Points (-110) at Caesars
As noted, the Bears’ offense has been largely ineffective for much of the season, including their Week 6 tilt against the Packers. They managed only 16 points against the Lions a couple of weeks ago and just can’t get seem to get it going no matter who is playing quarterback.
Green Bay will score its share of points, but will likely need to approach 30 for this Over to hit. I’m not sure that happens against a Chicago defense allowing 21 points per game over its last three games, especially if the Packers are a bit slow to heat up after being off last week.
Take the Under for our NFL bet of the day on what will likely be a chilly night at Lambeau.
