WOW Vegas Prepaid Cards

WOW Vegas is one of the premier sweepstakes casinos on the market today. Unfortunately, WOW Vegas doesn’t offer prepaid cards or Mastercard and Visa gift cards.

However, you can still cash in Sweeps Coins for gift cards to use in stores and restaurants. The casino provides suitable alternatives to prepaid cards and Mastercard and Visa gift cards.

Learn more about the convenient ways to purchase coins and complete prize redemptions.

Does WOW Vegas Have Prepaid Cards?

No, WOW Vegas does not offer prepaid cards. However, you can redeem your Sweeps Coins for gift cards.

How to Get a WOW Vegas Prepaid Card

There are no prepaid cards at WOW Vegas. The casino requires your legal name to be on an American Express, Discover, Mastercard, or Visa card, so you need an official credit or debit card.

WOW Vegas Prepaid Card Options

While there are no prepaid cards, you can still purchase coins using the following options:

  • American Express, Discover, Mastercard, and Visa
  • Skrill
  • Trustly

Check out the full list of WOW Vegas payment methods before you make your first redemption.

How Do I Pay Using WOW Vegas Prepaid Cards?

You cannot pay using a WOW Vegas prepaid card. My advice is to use Trustly and log into another bank account for a secure purchase.

I set up a free bank account online and use that with Trustly. It isn’t linked to any of my other accounts, and I only use it for sweepstakes casinos.

Another option is Skrill, which I use the same way. I set up a free Skrill account and linked it to the free bank account I set up for use in sweepstakes casinos.

When I want to purchase coins, I follow these steps:

  • Log in or to sign up.
  • Click “Buy Coins."
  • Select a coin package.
  • Choose your payment method.

The casino also lists Apple Pay as an option. Google Pay is also accepted per the FAQs, but it doesn’t appear in my list, sothis option may have been removed.

WOW Vegas Prepaid Card Redemption Process

Since there are no WOW Vegas prepaid Mastercard or Visa cards, redemption isn’t possible. Instead, I choose gift cards for stores and restaurants, though cash prizes are also available.

To redeem Sweeps Coins (SC) for a gift card, you must have 25 SC or more. For cash prizes, you need 100 SC or more.

Wagering requirements must be met before a prize redemption. What’s shown in your total balance may not be what’s available for prize redemptions.

Here’s how to get started.

  • Click “Redeem."
  • Choose “Get Gift Card" or “Get Cash Prize."
  • If you choose a gift card, scroll through the options to find the store or restaurant of interest.
  • If you choose a cash prize, select Skrill or Trustly.

Before your transaction is allowed, you must complete verification. This process has a few steps to follow.

  • Scan the QR code shown on the screen with your phone, or click “Continue on This Device."
  • Verify whether you reside in the U.S. or Canada.
  • Follow the steps to upload pictures of your government-issued photo ID.
  • Make sure your ID hasn’t expired and isn’t torn or damaged.
  • Upload a photo of a current utility bill or bank statement that’s no older than 90 days.
  • Wait for verification to complete.

The verification process is usually fast, but it may take longer than expected.

When it comes to the utility bill or bank statement, it’s best if you have a physical bill that you take a photo of, not a print copy from your computer. I ran into problems with verification because I only have online PDFs.

Once verification is complete, your redemption request is submitted. Allow up to three business days for the prize to arrive. Make sure you check your spam folder in case the gift card goes in there.

Does WOW Vegas Have Gift Cards?

Yes, WOW Vegas does offer gift cards, but only for prize redemptions. You can’t get WOW Vegas-branded gift cards.

The gift cards available are for participating retailers and restaurants that you select from a list. Canadian players can only redeem SC for Amazon gift vouchers and cash prizes.

How to Get a WOW Vegas Gift Card

You cannot get a WOW Vegas gift card, but you can redeem SC for gift cards to retailers and restaurants. I’ve had gift cards to stores like Lowe’s and Starbucks.

If that appeals to you, follow these steps:

  • Log in to your account.
  • Click “Redeem."
  • Verify that you have a minimum of 25 SC available for redemption.
  • Click “Get a Gift Card."
  • Complete the verification process, if required.
  • Choose the retailer or restaurant.
  • Enter your redemption amount.
  • Submit your request.
  • Allow up to three business days for processing.

WOW Vegas Gift Card Options

A variety of gift cards are available for prize redemptions. The list is extensive and can change without notice, but it includes stores and restaurants, including Uber Eats, Starbucks, and Lowe’s.

How Do I Pay Using WOW Vegas Gift Cards?

WOW Vegas gift cards do not exist, which is relatively standard among the best sweepstakes casinos. To purchase coins, you must have a card with your name on it. Gift cards are often anonymous, which makes them impossible to use.

If you don’t have a debit or credit card you want to use, I recommend purchasing coins using Skrill or Trustly, which can be connected to your bank.

WOW Vegas Gift Card Redemption Process

You cannot redeem SC for a WOW Vegas gift card, but you can redeem points for retailer gift cards. It’s an easy process that starts by logging in and making sure you’ve met the minimum requirement of 25 SC.

WOW Vegas has a 1x wagering requirement in place, so you might have 25 SC in your wallet, but you need at least 25 SC to be clear of the wagering requirements.

If you do have enough, follow these steps:

  • Click “Get a Gift Card."
  • Complete the verification steps shown on the screen.
  • Choose your retailer or restaurant and the amount of SC you want to redeem.
  • Submit your request.

Allow up to three business days for the gift card request to be approved. In busy times, it may take additional time. You can reach out to casino support to find out the status of your request.

How Much Can I Redeem From a WOW Vegas Card?

You cannot redeem from a WOW Vegas card. For standard redemptions, you need a minimum of 25 SC to redeem for other gift cards or 100 SC for cash prizes.

WOW Vegas Prepaid Cards vs WOW Vegas Gift Cards

There are no WOW Vegas prepaid cards or WOW Vegas gift cards.
