Rangers vs Lightning Same Game Parlay for Game 6 | Best Eastern Conference Final 2024 Parlay Bets

Last Updated: Jun 11, 2022

We’re coming down to the wire on the NHL season.

The Tampa Bay Lightning can clinch a third-straight berth in the Stanley Cup final if they can defeat the New York Rangers in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference final on Saturday night.

Here are a couple of same-game parlays we like for Game 6.

All Stanley Cup Playoff odds are provided by BetMGM Sportsbook and are current as of Friday, June 10, at 2 p.m. ET.

Rangers vs Lightning Game 6 Best Parlay

Best Same-Game Parlay (+225)

  • Lightning Moneyline
  • Lightning Score First
  • Under 5.5 Goals

Wager: 1 Unit

The team that scored first has only won in two out of the previous five games in the series, but the first goal should be integral in Game 6, especially given the Lightning’s ridiculous ability to shut out their opposition in closeout games.

The Under is by far the surest lock in this parlay since there hasn’t been more than five goals in any game in this series since Game 1.

If you want to tease up the total to 6.5, the odds drop to +175, but you’ll be covered if the game ends 4-2 or 5-1 with Tampa Bay hitting one or multiple empty nets.

Rangers vs Lightning Game 6 Longshot Parlay

Longshot Same-Game Parlay (+725)

Wager: 0.5 Units

  • Lightning -1.5 Puck Line
  • Lightning Win to Nil

If you read our Rangers vs Lightning Game 6 predictions, you know that Tampa Bay goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy simply does not allow goals in clinching games, especially on home ice. He has pitched four straight series-clinching shutouts at Amalie Arena over the past two seasons and has closed out series with a clean sheet in six of Tampa Bay’s past seven series.

However, the Lightning have won 1-0 in two of those clinchers, including the Stanley Cup final a year ago. I think if the Lightning win by shutout, they’ll still score at least twice.

This parlay, while a longshot, really has a good chance of hitting.

PREVIOUSLY: Rangers vs Lightning Game 5 Parlays

If you tailed either, or both, of our parlays for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference final, you cashed in.

But Game 5 on Thursday should be even more intense with the New York Rangers and Tampa Bay Lightning each trying to move within a single win of the Stanley Cup final.

Here are a couple of parlays that we really like, with the bonus being they are both completely result-proof.

All Stanley Cup Playoff odds are provided by BetMGM Sportsbook and are current as of Wednesday, June 8, at 1 p.m. ET.

Rangers vs Lightning Game 5 Best Parlay

Best Same-Game Parlay (+400)

  • Steven Stamkos Anytime Goalscorer
  • Under 5.5 Goals

Wager: 1 Unit

Stamkos has scored in three games in this series, including each of the past two.

If you’re a Rangers fan and want to target a Mika Zibanejad anytime goal along with Under 5.5, those odds are (+450). We like that parlay too.

In our Rangers vs Lightning Game 5 predictions, we anticipated Tampa Bay to win a tight, low-scoring game that could end 3-2 in overtime.

The Rangers could win it 2-1 in regulation, as well, but whatever the case there will be some goals scored — though probably not more than five.

Rangers vs Lightning Game 5 Longshot Parlay

Longshot Same-Game Parlay (+625)

Wager: 0.5 Units

  • Overtime Played: Yes
  • Under 1.5 First-Period Goals
  • Under 5.5 Goals

There’s no sense in teasing the total to 6.5 since there couldn’t be a six-goal game that ends in overtime.

And although Under 3.5 can’t be ruled out, these teams have been able to score goals this series. However, they have only surpassed six goals once, in Game 1 when Lightning goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy and the rest of his teammates were clearly shaking off some rust.

The overtime prop is really the questionable part. But again, it doesn’t matter who wins as long as the game gets to extra time.

PREVIOUSLY: Rangers vs Lightning Game 4 Parlays

The Eastern Conference Finals will pivot with Game 4.

Either the New York Rangers will move within a game of the Stanley Cup final or the two-time defending Stanley Cup champion Tampa Bay Lightning will even the best-of-seven series at two games apiece.

The NHL’s Final Four is tailor-made for same-game parlay betting with only one game per day. Here’s a look at a couple we like for Game 4 at Amalie Arena.

All Stanley Cup Playoff odds are provided by BetMGM Sportsbook and are current as of Monday, June 6, at 11 a.m. ET.

Rangers vs Lightning Game 4 Best Parlay

Best Same-Game Parlay (+230)

Wager: 1 Unit

  • Lightning Moneyline
  • Lightning Score First
  • Under 2.5 First-Period Goals
  • Under 6.5 Goals

Despite the extra leg, this parlay seems really good.

The teams have topped two first-period goals only once in the series, and they’ve combined for more than seven goals only once as well.

With the way Lightning goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy played in Game 3, and the consistent greatness of New York netminder Igor Shesterkin, six goals or fewer seems like a lock.

If you don’t trust the Lightning to score first but want to bet them to score last, the odds dip to +200.

That parlay seems very likely to hit as well.

Rangers vs Lightning Game 4 Longshot Parlay

Longshot Same-Game Parlay (+550)

Wager: 0.5 Units

  • Lightning -1.5 Puck Line
  • Under 5.5 Goals
  • Under 1.5 First-Period Goals

This parlay assumes Tampa Bay will score in the second and third periods but also accounts for the possibility of a first-period goal for either side.

We predicted Game 4 to end 4-1, but this parlay will hit if it finished 3-1 in favor of Tampa Bay as well. A low-scoring game is likely, and an empty-net goal from Tampa Bay is highly plausible — though as always beware of betting a spread and an unteased Under.

Still, if you’re feeling daring, this is the parlay we think is worth a sprinkle.

PREVIOUSLY: Rangers vs Lightning Game 3 Parlays

The NHL Final Four is tailor-made for same-game parlay betting.

There’s only one game per day from here on out, with the emphasis on day for the New York Rangers vs. Tampa Bay Lightning matinee in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference final Sunday.

Here’s a look at a couple of parlays we really like.

All Stanley Cup Playoff odds are provided by BetMGM Sportsbook and are current as of Saturday, June 4, at 2 p.m. ET.

Rangers vs Lightning Game 3 Best Parlay

Best Same-Game Parlay (+200)

  • Lightning To Score First
  • Lightning Moneyline
  • Under 6.5 Goals

WAGER: 1 Unit

This parlay would’ve hit in Game 2 if the Lightning could’ve hung onto their first-period lead after Nikita Kucherov’s power-play tally. We’re stubbornly going back to it given the likelihood of a Tampa Bay win that will cut into New York’s 2-0 series advantage.

The Rangers are averaging just 2.7 goals per game on the road in the playoffs, and we haven’t yet seen Lightning goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy’s best game. A 4-2 Tampa Bay win, where it scores the opening goal, will make this hit. That seems pretty likely.

Rangers vs Lightning Game 3 Longshot Parlay

Longshot Same-Game Parlay (+900)

  • Lightning -1.5 Puck Line
  • Lightning to Win to Nil
  • Under 5.5 Goals

WAGER: 0.5 Units

Vasilevskiy typically saves his playoff shutouts for series-clinching games, but given the fact he has been badly outplayed by Igor Shesterkin, we could totally see him holding down the Rangers in a statement performance in Game 3.

Granted, this wager flies in the face of some of our analysis, notably when we predicted Mika Zibanejad to score an anytime goal in Game 3. But it’s worth a sprinkle.

If you think this is going to happen but want to further tease down the Over/Under to say 4.5, that would make the odds +1000.

PREVIOUSLY: Rangers vs Lightning Game 2 Parlays

The NHL Final Four is tailor-made for same-game parlay betting.

There’s only one game per night from here on out, which means SGPs are the only option for parlay bettors. Fortunately, we’re here to curate great options for those of you interested in participating.

The New York Rangers rolled to a 6-2 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference final for their seventh straight home win. Tampa Bay is 15-0 following a playoff loss dating back to 2019.

Something will have to give in Game 2.

All Stanley Cup Playoff odds are provided by Caesars Sportsbook and are current as of Thursday, June 2, at 11 a.m. ET.

Rangers vs Lightning Game 2 Best Parlay

Best Same-Game Parlay (+250)

  • Lightning To Score First
  • Lightning Moneyline
  • Under 6.5 Goals

WAGER: 1 Unit

The Rangers’ offense is rolling, with 17 goals in their past three games (all wins). New York is averaging 4.4 goals per game on home ice this postseason, but they have only scored 11 goals in six playoff losses.

The Lightning aren’t likely to fall behind 2-0 in this series, and they have scored first in seven of their eight playoff wins this year. Plus, Tampa Bay goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy (.824 save percentage in Game 1) should have a bounce-back performance, which means expect a low-scoring Game 2.

We like Under 5.5 for the game, but teasing up the Over/Under so a same-game parlay hits is always a smart decision.

Rangers vs Lightning Game 2 Longshot Parlay

Longshot Same-Game Parlay (+500)

  • Lightning To Score First
  • Lightning -1.5 Puck Line
  • Under 5.5 Goals

WAGER: 0.5 Units

If you think Tampa Bay will win 3-1 or 4-1, this is your parlay to take.

There’s always risk to combine a puck-line bet and the Under. But if you’re feeling lucky, take your shot.

PREVIOUSLY: Rangers vs Lightning Game 1 Parlays

The New York Rangers and Tampa Bay Lightning will meet in the Eastern Conference final for the second time in the past eight seasons.

Tampa Bay won that series in seven games and has won the Cup in each of the past two seasons. New York is back in the conference final for the fourth time in the past 11 seasons, albeit with a completely different core than it used to reach the Final Four three times between 2012-15.

Here’s a look at our preferred parlays for Game 1, which is Wednesday in New York.

All Stanley Cup Playoff odds are provided by Caesars Sportsbook and are current as of Tuesday, May 31, at 3:30 p.m. ET.

Rangers vs Lightning Game 1 Best Parlay

Best Same-Game Parlay (+350)

  • Rangers Moneyline
  • Rangers To Score First
  • Under 5.5 Goals

WAGER: 1 Unit

We think the goalies are likely to be the story in this series, which means expect low scores, and that makes the first goal that much more integral.

If the Rangers score first, they’re likely to win — same as the Lightning. We just tend to think the Rangers are likely to take Game 1, thus making this the parlay to take.

If you think the Lightning will win and score first, take them at (+310).

Rangers vs Lightning Game 1 Longshot Parlay

Longshot Same-Game Parlay (+575)

  • Rangers Moneyline
  • Rangers To Score First
  • Under 4.5 Goals

WAGER: 0.5 Units

This is the same parlay as above, only with the Under at 4.5 goals.

If you want to take both, go for it, since five goals between these teams would constitute a shootout.
